and_o rent_n whereof_o any_o archbishop_n bishop_n dean_n dean_n and_o chapter_n or_o any_o other_o ecclesiastical_a person_n or_o person_n whatsoever_o in_o his_o or_o their_o politic_a capacity_n or_o any_o of_o they_o be_v actual_o seize_v or_o by_o themselves_o or_o their_o tenant_n possess_v in_o the_o year_n of_o
and_o payable_a to_o he_o by_o the_o adventurer_n and_o soldier_n to_o be_v hold_v of_o his_o majesty_n his_o heir_n and_o successor_n by_o the_o tenure_n of_o frank_n almoyne_n or_o other_o service_n and_o tenor_n as_o the_o same_o be_v hold_v before_o the_o make_n of_o this_o act._n and_o be_v it_o also_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o all_o and_o every_o impropriation_n or_o appropriate_a tithe_n forfeit_v to_o or_o vest_v in_o his_o majesty_n his_o heir_n and_o successor_n by_o this_o act_n or_o otherwise_o forfeit_v or_o escheat_v to_o his_o majesty_n in_o right_a of_o his_o crown_n if_o there_o be_v no_o lease_n or_o lease_n thereof_o in_o be_v unforfeited_a or_o otherwise_o as_o soon_o as_o the_o unforfeited_a lease_n or_o lease_n shall_v be_v expire_v or_o adjudge_v reasonable_a and_o convenient_a within_o the_o space_n of_o two_o year_n from_o the_o pass_n of_o this_o act_n and_o not_o after_o or_o from_o the_o expiration_n of_o the_o say_v unforfeited_a lease_n respective_o provide_v that_o neither_o this_o act_n nor_o any_o thing_n therein_o contain_v shall_v extend_v to_o the_o dispose_n or_o alter_v of_o any_o impropriate_a rectory_n or_o tithe_n or_o rent_n now_o or_o late_o enjoy_v or_o possess_v by_o or_o settle_v on_o the_o lord_n lieutenant_n or_o other_o chief_a governor_n or_o governor_n of_o this_o kingdom_n for_o the_o time_n be_v or_o which_o at_o any_o time_n have_v be_v or_o now_o be_v enjoy_v possess_v or_o receive_v by_o the_o lord_n precedent_n of_o munster_n and_o connaught_n in_o the_o right_n of_o their_o respective_a place_n any_o thing_n in_o this_o act_n to_o the_o contrary_a in_o any_o wise_n notwithstanding_o and_o that_o the_o lord_n chief_a justice_n of_o his_o majesty_n court_n of_o king_n bench_n the_o lord_n chief_a baron_n of_o his_o majesty_n court_n of_o exchequer_n and_o the_o master_n of_o the_o roll_n or_o any_o other_o of_o his_o majesty_n officer_n of_o this_o kingdom_n for_o the_o time_n be_v shall_v and_o may_v have_v and_o receive_v such_o port-corn_n of_o the_o several_a rectory_n which_o former_o have_v be_v former_o pay_v and_o reserve_v and_o to_o the_o end_n that_o this_o present_a annexation_n of_o the_o say_a rectory_n impropriate_a unto_o the_o several_a and_o respective_a church_n as_o aforesaid_a may_v not_o be_v too_o prejudicial_a unto_o those_o person_n who_o by_o the_o rule_n of_o this_o present_a act_n may_v otherwise_o expect_v to_o be_v restore_v thereunto_o it_o be_v hereby_o further_o declare_v and_o enact_v that_o it_o shall_v and_o may_v be_v lawful_a to_o &_o for_o the_o lord_n lieutenant_n or_o other_o chief_a governor_n or_o governor_n of_o ireland_n for_o the_o time_n be_v to_o allot_v assign_v and_o appoint_v unto_o all_o and_o have_v for_o erect_v of_o church_n and_o that_o maintenance_n for_o preach_v minister_n shall_v be_v provide_v in_o pursuance_n whereof_o be_v it_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o out_o of_o every_o one_o hundred_o acre_n of_o forfeit_v and_o escheat_v land_n vest_v in_o his_o majesty_n by_o this_o â—ct_n which_o be_v not_o yet_o actual_o dispose_v and_o distribute_v two_o acre_n shall_v be_v allow_v and_o set_v apart_o for_o glebe_n in_o every_o parish_n barony_n and_o county_n as_o shall_v be_v most_o contiguous_a and_o convenient_a for_o the_o several_a parish_n church_n in_o such_o place_n situate_v or_o to_o be_v situate_v and_o that_o out_o of_o all_o forfeit_v and_o escheat_v land_n so_o vest_v as_o aforesaid_a which_o be_v already_o dispose_v distribute_v or_o assign_v and_o by_o this_o act_n confirm_v to_o the_o respective_a possessor_n their_o heir_n or_o assign_v the_o say_v respective_a possessor_n their_o heir_n and_o assign_v shall_v pay_v so_o much_o money_n as_o shall_v be_v sufficient_a to_o purchase_v such_o a_o number_n of_o acre_n of_o the_o aforesaid_a measure_n and_o of_o the_o same_o quality_n within_o the_o say_a parish_n as_o the_o land_n out_o of_o which_o the_o say_v acre_n shall_v have_v be_v take_v and_o assign_v for_o glebe_n at_o that_o present_a shall_v be_v adjudge_v the_o same_o rent_n to_o be_v reserve_v payable_a to_o his_o majesty_n his_o heir_n and_o successor_n and_o in_o the_o same_o manner_n by_o the_o respective_a incumbent_n and_o their_o successor_n enjoy_v the_o say_a land_n so_o chauntry_n and_o vest_v in_o his_o majesty_n his_o heir_n and_o successor_n by_o this_o act_n that_o be_v by_o this_o present_a act_n set_v out_o assign_v or_o intend_v to_o be_v set_v out_o or_o assign_v to_o any_o commissioned_n officer_n their_o heir_n or_o assign_v who_o serve_v his_o majesty_n or_o his_o royal_a father_n of_o ever_o bless_a memory_n in_o the_o late_a of_o war_n of_o former_o upon_o or_o out_o of_o they_o pay_v or_o receive_v unto_o the_o church_n or_o in_o lieu_n and_o satisfaction_n thereof_o two_o shilling_n for_o every_o pound_n of_o improve_a value_n at_o the_o election_n of_o the_o bishop_n of_o the_o diocese_n which_o rent_n be_v to_o be_v ascertain_v with_o all_o convenient_a speed_n by_o the_o chief_a governor_n or_o governor_n of_o ireland_n for_o the_o time_n be_v and_o six_o of_o the_o council_n or_o who_o they_o shall_v appoint_v and_o the_o rent_n so_o payable_a by_o such_o officer_n or_o person_n his_o heir_n or_o assign_v to_o the_o church_n shall_v be_v pay_v to_o such_o rectory_n or_o vicarage_n that_o either_o be_v or_o shall_v be_v of_o the_o church_n wherein_o such_o chantry_n be_v erect_v or_o otherwise_o to_o such_o minister_n of_o
the_o say_a diocese_n as_o the_o bishop_n thereof_o shall_v judge_v most_o convenient_a and_o such_o rent_n payable_a as_o aforesaid_a be_v to_o be_v in_o lieu_n of_o all_o crown-rent_n and_o other_o challenge_n and_o acknowledgement_n whatsoever_o payable_a by_o the_o say_a officer_n out_o of_o such_o chauntry_n or_o land_n belong_v to_o they_o and_o be_v it_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o out_o of_o all_o and_o every_o the_o land_n tenement_n and_o hereditament_n set_v in_o fee_n farm_n by_o the_o bishop_n of_o the_o diocese_n wherein_o such_o land_n tenement_n and_o hereditament_n be_v upon_o which_o any_o rent_n be_v pay_v unto_o the_o church_n in_o the_o year_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o and_o forty_o or_o one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o forty_o and_o one_o and_o which_o be_v forfeit_v and_o vest_v by_o this_o act_n in_o his_o majesty_n his_o heir_n and_o successor_n and_o that_o be_v by_o this_o present_a act_n set_v out_o assign_v or_o intend_v to_o be_v set_v out_o and_o assign_v unto_o any_o commissioned_n officer_n or_o officer_n that_o serve_v his_o late_a majesty_n before_o the_o five_o of_o june_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o which_o they_o be_v or_o shall_v be_v respective_o hold_v and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o out_o of_o the_o several_a house_n forfeit_v and_o vest_v in_o his_o majesty_n by_o this_o act_n be_v in_o several_a wall_a town_n city_n corporation_n and_o burrough_n in_o this_o kingdom_n and_o by_o this_o act_n be_v set_v out_o assign_v and_o allot_v for_o the_o satisfaction_n of_o the_o commissioned_n officer_n their_o heir_n and_o assign_v as_o aforesaid_a that_o all_o and_o every_o archbishop_n and_o bishop_n and_o minister_n who_o house_n in_o any_o of_o their_o respective_a see_v or_o church-living_n within_o the_o say_a town_n or_o suburb_n be_v waste_v or_o not_o habitable_a shall_v have_v set_v out_o unto_o they_o a_o handsome_a convenient_a house_n rend_v free_a other_o than_o the_o rent_n payable_a to_o his_o majesty_n which_o by_o the_o say_a archbishop_n bishop_n his_o or_o their_o successor_n and_o by_o the_o minister_n aforesaid_a be_v hereby_o payable_a to_o his_o majesty_n during_o the_o say_a term_n at_o and_o according_a to_o the_o same_o value_n that_o shall_v be_v set_v upon_o the_o yearly_a rent_n of_o such_o house_n set_v out_o and_o give_v into_o the_o possession_n of_o such_o archbishop_n or_o bishop_n his_o or_o their_o successor_n as_o also_o to_o such_o minister_n as_o abovesaid_a for_o the_o space_n of_o seven_o year_n to_o begin_v from_o the_o day_n such_o possession_n be_v give_v such_o house_n or_o house_n to_o be_v in_o the_o most_o convenient_a place_n for_o the_o minister_n residence_n and_o every_o archbishop_n or_o bishop_n to_o have_v his_o own_o choice_n of_o the_o best_a forfeit_v house_n and_o garden_n within_o the_o city_n or_o suburb_n where_o his_o cathedral_n be_v during_o the_o aforesaid_a time_n and_o if_o such_o archbishop_n or_o bishop_n or_o other_o minister_n have_v no_o house_n or_o house-stead_n belong_v to_o their_o see_v or_o rectory_n lie_v within_o the_o say_a town_n that_o then_o a_o convenient_a house_n out_o of_o the_o house_n aforesaid_a or_o house-stead_n at_o the_o election_n of_o the_o bishop_n or_o minister_n shall_v be_v set_v out_o to_o such_o archbishop_n bishop_n or_o minister_n his_o or_o their_o successor_n for_o ever_o under_o the_o rent_n reservable_a to_o his_o majesty_n out_o of_o such_o house_n or_o house_n by_o this_o act_n to_o be_v pay_v to_o his_o majesty_n by_o such_o archbishop_n bishop_n or_o minister_n his_o or_o their_o successor_n for_o ever_o and_o also_o be_v it_o ordain_v and_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o the_o commissioner_n to_o be_v appoint_v by_o his_o majesty_n for_o the_o execution_n of_o the_o say_a declaration_n and_o instruction_n and_o this_o present_a act_n shall_v have_v full_a power_n and_o authority_n by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n and_o of_o the_o say_a commission_n with_o the_o great_a indifference_n that_o may_v be_v to_o all_o person_n therein_o concern_v to_o do_v and_o execute_v all_o and_o every_o act_n and_o act_n thing_n and_o thing_n as_o may_v conduce_v to_o the_o manner_n of_o execute_v all_o and_o every_o clause_n or_o clause_n contain_v in_o this_o act_n that_o have_v express_a reference_n to_o the_o settlement_n of_o the_o interest_n of_o the_o church_n and_o that_o all_o manner_n of_o proceed_n and_o order_n to_o be_v make_v by_o the_o say_a commissioner_n in_o pursuance_n of_o their_o commission_n and_o according_a to_o the_o say_a declaration_n and_o instruction_n and_o this_o present_a act_n shall_v by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n be_v as_o good_a and_o effectual_a in_o the_o law_n to_o all_o intent_n construction_n and_o purpose_n as_o though_o the_o same_o have_v be_v particular_o and_o distinct_o mention_v or_o set_v down_o by_o authority_n of_o this_o present_a parliament_n and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o the_o recompense_n or_o satisfaction_n to_o be_v make_v or_o give_v by_o any_o of_o the_o protestant_a officer_n who_o serve_v in_o the_o irish_a war_n before_o the_o five_o day_n of_o june_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o forty_o nine_o for_o or_o in_o respect_n of_o any_o building_n or_o reparation_n of_o any_o message_n or_o tenement_n herein_o before_o appoint_v as_o a_o security_n for_o their_o respective_a arrear_n shall_v not_o exceed_v a_o sir_n george_n lane_n knight_n and_o whereas_o there_o have_v be_v several_a barony_n reserve_v to_o reprize_n such_o inhabitant_n and_o native_n of_o city_n and_o wall_v town_n in_o ireland_n as_o be_v exclude_v from_o their_o propriety_n in_o the_o say_a town_n or_o city_n some_o of_o who_o may_v perhaps_o be_v restorable_a by_o this_o act_n to_o their_o ancient_a propriety_n be_v it_o therefore_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o if_o any_o such_o shall_v be_v restore_v to_o their_o ancient_a propriety_n that_o then_o so_o much_o of_o the_o land_n reserve_v in_o those_o barony_n of_o equal_a value_n worth_a and_o purchase_n to_o the_o land_n and_o house_n so_o to_o be_v restore_v to_o the_o say_a inhabitant_n and_o native_n be_v and_o shall_v be_v reprize_v to_o the_o say_a officer_n serve_v before_o the_o five_o of_o june_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o forty_o nine_o for_o and_o in_o lieu_n of_o what_o land_n and_o house_n shall_v be_v so_o restore_v back_o to_o the_o say_v former_a proprietor_n and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o where_o any_o burrough_n corporation_n or_o town_n be_v and_o continue_v actual_o incorporate_v in_o the_o year_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o forty_o one_o and_o be_v allot_v and_o set_v out_o to_o adventurer_n or_o soldier_n not_o as_o burrough_n
