one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o forty_o and_o one_o clear_o and_o absolute_o dissolve_v take_v away_o and_o determine_v 2._o and_o that_o from_o the_o say_v first_o day_n of_o august_n neither_o the_o lord_n chancellor_n or_o keeper_n of_o the_o great_a seal_n of_o england_n the_o lord_n treasurer_n of_o england_n the_o keeper_n of_o the_o king_n privy_a seal_n or_o precedent_n of_o the_o and_o sentence_n in_o they_o and_o every_o of_o they_o by_o which_o any_o jurisdiction_n power_n or_o authority_n be_v give_v limit_v or_o appoint_v unto_o the_o say_a court_n common_o call_v the_o star-chamber_n or_o unto_o all_o or_o any_o the_o judge_n officer_n or_o minister_n thereof_o or_o for_o any_o proceed_n to_o be_v have_v or_o make_v in_o the_o say_a court_n or_o for_o any_o matter_n or_o thing_n to_o be_v draw_v into_o question_n examine_v or_o determine_v there_o shall_v for_o so_o much_o as_o concern_v the_o say_a court_n of_o star-chamber_n and_o the_o power_n and_o like_a jurisdiction_n now_o use_v and_o exercise_v in_o the_o court_n before_o the_o precedent_n and_o council_n in_o the_o march_n of_o wales_n 2._o and_o also_o in_o the_o court_n before_o the_o precedent_n and_o council_n establish_v in_o the_o northern_a part_n 3_o and_o also_o in_o the_o court_n common_o call_v the_o court_n of_o the_o duchy_n of_o lancaster_n hold_v before_o the_o chancellor_n and_o council_n of_o that_o court_n 4._o and_o also_o in_o the_o court_n of_o exchequer_n of_o the_o county_n palatine_n of_o chester_n hold_v before_o the_o chamberlain_n and_o council_n of_o that_o court_n 5._o the_o like_a jurisdiction_n be_v exercise_v there_o shall_v from_o the_o say_v first_o day_n of_o august_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o forty_o and_o one_o be_v also_o repeal_v and_o absolute_o revoke_v and_o make_v void_a any_o law_n prescription_n custom_n or_o usage_n or_o the_o say_a statute_n make_v in_o the_o three_o year_n of_o king_n henry_n the_o seven_o or_o the_o statute_n make_v the_o one_o and_o twenty_o of_o henry_n the_o eight_o or_o any_o act_n or_o act_n of_o parliament_n heretofore_o have_v or_o make_v to_o the_o contrary_a thereof_o in_o his_o privy_a council_n have_v or_o aught_o to_o have_v any_o jurisdiction_n power_n or_o authority_n by_o english_a bill_n petition_n article_n libel_n or_o any_o other_o arbitrary_a way_n whatsoever_o to_o examine_v or_o draw_v into_o question_n determine_v or_o dispose_v of_o the_o land_n tenement_n hereditament_n good_n or_o chattel_n of_o any_o of_o the_o subject_n of_o this_o kingdom_n but_o that_o the_o same_o aught_o to_o be_v try_v and_o determine_v in_o the_o ordinary_a court_n of_o justice_n and_o by_o the_o ordinary_a course_n of_o the_o law_n 6._o and_o be_v it_o of_o the_o council_n bishop_n temporal_a lord_n privy_a councillor_n judge_n or_o justice_n whatsoever_o shall_v offend_v or_o do_v any_o thing_n contrary_a to_o the_o purport_n true_a intent_n and_o meaning_n of_o this_o law_n then_o he_o or_o they_o shall_v for_o such_o offence_n forfeit_v the_o sum_n of_o five_o hundred_o pound_n of_o lawful_a money_n of_o england_n unto_o any_o party_n grieve_v his_o executor_n or_o administrator_n who_o shall_v real_o prosecute_v for_o the_o same_o and_o first_o obtain_v judgement_n thereupon_o to_o be_v recover_v in_o any_o court_n of_o record_n at_o westminster_n by_o action_n of_o debt_n bill_n plaint_n or_o information_n wherein_o no_o essoign_n protection_n wager_n of_o law_n aid-prayer_n privilege_n injunction_n or_o order_n of_o warrant_n of_o the_o king_n majesty_n his_o heir_n and_o successor_n in_o their_o own_o person_n or_o by_o the_o command_n or_o warrant_n of_o the_o council-board_n or_o oâ—_n any_o of_o the_o lord_n or_o other_o of_o his_o majesty_n privy_a council_n 3._o that_o in_o every_o such_o case_n every_o person_n so_o commit_v restrain_v of_o his_o liberty_n or_o suffer_v imprisonment_n upon_o demand_n or_o motion_n make_v by_o his_o council_n or_o other_o employ_v by_o he_o for_o that_o purpose_n unto_o the_o judge_n of_o the_o court_n of_o king's-bench_n or_o common-plea_n in_o open_a court_n shall_v without_o delay_n upon_o any_o pretence_n whatsoever_o for_o the_o ordinary_a fee_n usual_o pay_v for_o the_o same_o have_v forthwith_o grant_v unto_o he_o a_o writ_n of_o habeas_fw-la
