people a prince who wauteth understanding c. Prov. 28. 15 16. When the righteous are in authority the people rejoyce but when the wicked beareth rule the people mourn c. The king by judgment stablisheth the land but he who receiveth gifts overthroweth it c. If a ruler hearken to lies all his servants are wicked The king who faithfully judgeth the poor his throne shall be established for ever c. Many seek the ruler's favour but every man's judgment is from the Lord Prov. 29. 2 3 12 14 26. It is not for kings to drink wine nor for princes strong drink left they drink and forget the law and pervert the judgment of the afflicted Prov. 31. 4 5. I saw under the sun the place of judgment wickedness there c. God shall judge the righteous Eccles 3. 16 17.
