pound_n of_o tobacco_n vi_o a_o act_n for_o the_o imposition_n of_o two_o shilling_n on_o every_o five_o hundred_o pound_n of_o bulk_n tobacco_n vide_fw-la act_n the_o three_o anno_fw-la 1680._o vii_o other_o purpose_n use_v or_o intent_n whatsoever_o shall_v or_o may_v take_v or_o impress_v any_o timber_n from_o any_o man_n land_n whatsoever_o before_o he_o or_o they_o so_o impower_v or_o be_v usual_o grant_v by_o the_o governor_n who_o knowledge_n of_o person_n can_v possible_o extend_v over_o the_o whole_a country_n be_v it_o enact_v grant_v how_o licence_n for_o marriage_n be_v to_o hundred_o pound_n of_o tobacco_n or_o twenty_o shilling_n sterling_a to_o the_o clerk_n for_o write_v the_o bond_n licence_n certificate_n and_o return_v the_o same_o to_o the_o office_n fifty_o pound_n of_o tobacco_n ascertain_v the_o fee_n ascertain_v and_o to_o the_o secretary_n for_o record_v the_o same_o in_o the_o office_n as_o aforesaid_a forty_o pound_n of_o tobacco_n and_o the_o minister_n marry_v with_o a_o licence_n two_o hundred_o pound_n of_o tobacco_n or_o twenty_o shilling_n sterling_a if_o by_o bane_n fifty_o pound_n of_o tobacco_n or_o five_o shilling_n xviii_o provision_n for_o a_o college_n whereas_o the_o want_n of_o able_a and_o faithful_a minister_n in_o this_o country_n deprive_v we_o of_o those_o great_a blessing_n and_o mercy_n that_o always_o attend_v upon_o the_o service_n of_o god_n which_o want_n by_o reason_n of_o our_o great_a distance_n from_o our_o native_a country_n can_v in_o probability_n be_v always_o supply_v from_o thence_o be_v it_o enact_v that_o for_o the_o advance_v of_o learning_n education_n of_o youth_n supply_v of_o the_o ministry_n and_o promotion_n of_o piety_n free-school_n a_o college_n and_o free-school_n there_o be_v land_n take_v up_o or_o purchase_v for_o a_o college_n and_o free_a school_n and_o that_o there_o be_v with_o as_o much_o speed_n as_o may_v be_v convenient_a house_n erect_v thereon_o for_o entertainment_n of_o student_n and_o scholar_n whereas_o a_o ancient_a practice_n of_o this_o country_n intestate_a land_n of_o person_n intestate_a have_v contrary_a to_o law_n and_o reason_n ignorant_o vest_v the_o land_n of_o person_n intestate_a in_o the_o hand_n of_o administrator_n of_o who_o divers_a person_n have_v purchase_v and_o hold_v their_o land_n by_o no_o other_o title_n than_o such_o sales_n which_o can_v be_v of_o no_o validity_n against_o the_o claim_n of_o the_o king_n who_o no_o time_n can_v prescribe_v and_o to_o who_o if_o a_o heir_n appear_v not_o the_o land_n rigorous_o exceed_v these_o our_o moderate_a and_o reasonable_a demand_n 1._o we_o concede_fw-la that_o any_o person_n hay_v be_v two_o year_n in_o possession_n of_o any_o land_n that_o aught_o to_o
