Madagassar are many Elefants and great aboundance of Iuory very fyne The Ilande of Zauzibar is verye much like to this abounding with Lyons and many other wilde beastes Nicolao Veneciano as Pogio declareth reporteth that in the small brooks of the ryuer Ganges there were canes of a meruailous length so great that a man could skarcely insorace them about with both armes with the which they made
