debt_n bill_n plaint_n or_o information_n wherein_o no_o essoign_n protection_n wager_n of_o law_n aid-prayer_n privilege_n injunction_n or_o order_n of_o restraint_n shall_v be_v in_o any_o wise_a hereafter_o have_v or_o pretend_v to_o have_v the_o same_o or_o like_a jurisdiction_n power_n or_o authority_n to_o commit_v or_o imprison_v as_o aforesaid_a 2._o or_o by_o the_o command_n or_o warrant_n of_o the_o king_n majesty_n his_o heir_n and_o successor_n in_o their_o own_o person_n or_o by_o the_o command_n or_o warrant_n of_o the_o council-board_n or_o oâ—_n any_o of_o the_o lord_n or_o other_o of_o his_o majesty_n privy_a council_n 3._o that_o in_o every_o such_o case_n every_o person_n so_o commit_v restrain_v of_o his_o liberty_n or_o suffer_v imprisonment_n upon_o demand_n or_o motion_n make_v by_o his_o council_n or_o other_o employ_v by_o he_o for_o that_o purpose_n unto_o the_o judge_n of_o the_o court_n of_o king's-bench_n or_o common-plea_n in_o open_a court_n shall_v without_o delay_n upon_o any_o pretence_n whatsoever_o for_o the_o ordinary_a fee_n usual_o pay_v for_o the_o same_o have_v forthwith_o grant_v unto_o he_o a_o writ_n of_o habeas_fw-la determine_v whether_o the_o cause_n of_o such_o commitment_n appear_v upon_o the_o say_a return_n be_v just_a and_o legal_a or_o not_o and_o shall_v thereupon_o do_v what_o to_o justice_n shall_v appertain_v either_o by_o deliver_v bail_a or_o remand_v the_o prisoner_n 6._o and_o if_o any_o thing_n shall_v be_v otherwise_o wilful_o do_v or_o omit_v to_o be_v do_v by_o any_o judge_n justice_n officer_z or_o other_o person_n aforemention_v contrary_a to_o the_o direction_n and_o true_a meaning_n hereof_o than_o such_o person_n so_o offend_v shall_v forfeit_v to_o the_o party_n grieve_v his_o treble_a damage_n to_o be_v recover_v by_o such_o mean_n and_o in_o such_o manner_n as_o be_v former_o in_o this_o act_n limit_v and_o appoint_v for_o the_o like_a penalty_n to_o be_v sue_v for_o and_o recover_v 9_o provide_v always_o and_o be_v it_o enact_v that_o this_o act_n and_o the_o several_a clause_n therein_o contain_v shall_v be_v take_v and_o expound_v to_o extend_v only_o to_o the_o court_n of_o star-chamber_n 2._o and_o to_o the_o say_a court_n hold_v before_o the_o precedent_n and_o council_n in_o the_o march_n of_o wales_n 3._o and_o before_o the_o precedent_n and_o council_n in_o the_o northern_a part_n 4._o and_o also_o to_o the_o court_n common_o call_v the_o court_n of_o the_o duchy_n of_o lancaster_n hold_v before_o the_o chancellor_n and_o council_n of_o that_o court_n 5._o and_o also_o in_o the_o court_n of_o exchequer_n of_o the_o county_n palatine_n of_o chester_n hold_v before_o the_o chamberlain_n and_o council_n of_o that_o court_n 6._o and_o to_o all_o court_n of_o like_a jurisdiction_n to_o be_v hereafter_o erect_v ordain_v constitute_v or_o appoint_v as_o aforesaid_a and_o to_o the_o warrant_n and_o direction_n of_o the_o council-board_n and_o to_o the_o commitment_n restraint_n and_o imprisonment_n of_o any_o person_n or_o person_n make_v command_v or_o award_v by_o the_o king_n majesty_n his_o heir_n or_o successor_n in_o their_o own_o person_n or_o by_o the_o lord_n and_o other_o of_o the_o privy-council_n and_o every_o one_o of_o they_o and_o last_o provide_v and_o be_v it_o enact_v that_o no_o person_n or_o person_n shall_v be_v sue_v implead_v molest_v or_o trouble_v for_o any_o offence_n against_o this_o present_a act_n unless_o the_o party_n suppose_v to_o have_v so_o offend_v shall_v be_v sue_v or_o implead_v for_o the_o same_o within_o two_o year_n at_o the_o most_o after_o such_o time_n wherein_o the_o say_a offence_n shall_v be_v commit_v the_o comment_n the_o court_n of_o star-chamber_n so_o call_v because_o hold_v in_o a_o chamber_n at_o westminster_n the_o roof_n of_o which_o
