therein_o even_o life_n itself_o though_o never_o so_o near_o and_o dear_a unto_o we_o and_o because_o our_o sin_n be_v most_o inconsistent_a with_o his_o command_n we_o must_v forsake_v they_o therefore_o abraham_n be_v command_v to_o renounce_v idol_n and_o false_a god_n we_o must_v also_o in_o forsake_v these_o resign_v up_o ourselves_o whole_o to_o the_o will_n of_o our_o heavenly_a father_n and_o resolve_v to_o obey_v he_o alone_o and_o follow_v his_o direction_n we_o must_v leave_v the_o world_n and_o love_n our_o god_n and_o fix_v our_o thought_n and_o affection_n on_o heaven_n this_o be_v the_o precept_n he_o must_v go_v out_o into_o a_o place_n the_o promise_n be_v here_o employ_v that_o he_o shall_v have_v a_o full_a compensation_n and_o instead_o of_o the_o country_n he_o leave_v he_o shall_v have_v another_o and_o the_o same_o more_o excellent_a for_o a_o inheritance_n this_o promise_n be_v far_o more_o large_o express_v gen._n 12._o 2_o 3._o for_o there_o the_o promise_n consist_v of_o several_a branch_n and_o the_o last_o and_o principal_a be_v this_o that_o in_o he_o all_o the_o family_n of_o the_o earth_n shall_v be_v bless_v for_o this_o be_v a_o promise_n of_o christ_n and_o of_o eternal_a life_n in_o he_o for_o so_o afterward_o it_o be_v explain_v of_o his_o seed_n that_o be_v christ_n in_o who_o the_o believer_n of_o all_o nation_n be_v make_v for_o ever_o happy_a yet_o you_o must_v know_v that_o neither_o abraham_n nor_o any_o other_o person_n can_v so_o understand_v believe_v and_o obey_v this_o command_n and_o rely_v upon_o this_o promise_n as_o to_o come_v to_o god_n except_o he_o enlighten_v and_o inspire_v man_n by_o his_o spirit_n and_o make_v he_o able_a to_o perform_v this_o duty_n thus_o abraham_n be_v call_v his_o obedience_n follow_v for_o by_o faith_n he_o obey_v and_o go_v out_o not_o know_v whither_o he_o go_v 1._o he_o obey_v 2._o he_o go_v out_o not_o know_v whither_o he_o go_v 3._o he_o obey_v and_o do_v thus_o by_o faith_n 1._o obedience_n presuppose_v a_o superior_a who_o have_v power_n to_o command_v one_o subject_n to_o that_o command_a power_n a_o command_n give_v and_o make_v know_v unto_o the_o party_n subject_n
