shall_v have_v and_o enjoy_v all_o and_o every_o their_o land_n tenement_n hereditament_n good_n and_o chattel_n whatsoever_o forfeit_v to_o his_o majesty_n his_o heir_n and_o successor_n for_o any_o of_o the_o crime_n aforesaid_a in_o the_o same_o manner_n and_o as_o free_o to_o all_o intent_n and_o purpose_n as_o if_o they_o have_v not_o be_v forfeit_v yet_o so_o that_o they_o and_o every_o of_o pass_a this_o act_n accept_v or_o exercise_v any_o office_n or_o public_a employment_n whatsoever_o within_o the_o say_a colony_n of_o virginia_n that_o then_o such_o of_o they_o as_o do_v so_o accept_v or_o exercise_v as_o aforesaid_a shall_v to_o all_o intent_n and_o purpose_n stand_v as_o if_o he_o or_o they_o have_v be_v total_o except_v by_o name_n out_o of_o this_o act._n and_o person_n at_o any_o time_n between_o the_o first_o day_n of_o may_n and_o the_o sixteenth_o day_n of_o january_n 1676._o whereby_o the_o good_n or_o commodity_n of_o any_o his_o majesty_n subject_n the_o name_n title_n authority_n and_o dignity_n of_o governor_n have_v be_v legal_o commissioned_n by_o his_o majesty_n thereunto_o and_o as_o if_o such_o person_n or_o person_n pretend_v the_o name_n title_n and_o authority_n of_o councillor_n there_o have_v be_v legal_o authorize_v thereunto_o and_o whereas_o during_o the_o licentiousness_n of_o the_o late_a time_n several_a ill_n dispose_v person_n take_v upon_o they_o to_o asperse_v the_o government_n and_o defame_v the_o governor_n
of_o the_o small_a estate_n they_o have_v without_o diminution_n of_o the_o principal_a which_o whether_o great_a or_o small_a always_o to_o be_v deliver_v to_o the_o orphan_n at_o the_o year_n wickedness_n of_o the_o guardian_n be_v usual_o consume_v before_o they_o come_v to_o age_n and_o dispute_v thereupon_o arise_v in_o the_o several_a court_n how_o such_o person_n shall_v be_v proceed_v with_o and_o account_n of_o orphan_n estate_n how_o to_o be_v give_v they_o it_o be_v hereby_o declare_v that_o all_o person_n possess_v of_o orphans-stock_n before_o the_o first_o make_v this_o act_n shall_v be_v bind_v to_o deliver_v to_o the_o orphan_n when_o he_o come_v to_o age_n such_o and_o so_o many_o of_o any_o kind_n as_o he_o be_v possess_v of_o when_o he_o give_v his_o account_n to_o the_o next_o orphan_n court_n succeed_v the_o publication_n thereof_o that_o all_o plate_n and_o money_n be_v preserve_v and_o deliver_v in_o kind_n according_a to_o the_o weight_n and_o quantity_n sell_v plate_n and_o money_n shall_v be_v also_o return_v in_o kind_n other_o householdstuff_n shall_v be_v appraise_v and_o sell_v that_o other_o household_n stuff_n and_o lumber_n their_o trade_n that_o no_o more_o be_v allow_v to_o guardian_n for_o collect_v of_o debt_n due_a to_o any_o estate_n than_o ten_o in_o the_o hundred_o orphan_n ten_o per_fw-mi cent_z allow_v to_o guardian_n for_o collect_v debt_n due_a to_o orphan_n the_o usual_a allowance_n of_o merchant_n to_o their_o factor_n and_o attorney_n that_o thirty_o pound_n of_o tobacco_n per_fw-la day_n be_v obtain_v from_o they_o for_o the_o patent_v thereof_o neither_o shall_v the_o first_o petitioner_n for_o any_o deserted_n land_n be_v deny_v of_o have_v the_o first_o grant_v he_o make_v his_o right_n appear_v when_o he_o petition_n for_o the_o land_n and_o whereas_o the_o former_a act_n concern_v deserted_n land_n reserve_v to_o the_o first_o taker_n up_o his_o right_n to_o take_v up_o land_n in_o a_o other_o place_n it_o be_v here_o enact_v that_o in_o regard_n he_o have_v have_v the_o benefit_n of_o his_o right_n hold_v the_o land_n in_o possession_n may_v make_v use_n of_o the_o timber_n without_o contradiction_n and_o yet_o neither_o pay_v the_o king_n any_o rent_n nor_o suffer_v he_o to_o admit_v any_o new_a tenant_n that_o the_o right_n as_o well_o as_o the_o land_n shall_v be_v forfeit_v and_o the_o grantee_n make_v incapable_a of_o use_v any_o of_o they_o afterward_o provide_v that_o any_o person_n have_v take_v up_o land_n desert_v before_o the_o make_n of_o this_o act_n in_o november_n 1652_o shall_v not_o by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n be_v out_v of_o possession_n lxx_o seat_v upon_o other_o dividend_n whereas_o divers_a suit_n have_v rise_v about_o seat_v the_o land_n be_v worth_a before_o the_o seat_v thereof_o thereupon_o or_o else_o shall_v purchase_v the_o land_n twelve_o man_n upon_o oath_n be_v to_o decide_v any_o controversy_n arise_v thereupon_o which_o the_o seator_n shall_v according_o pay_v to_o the_o true_a owner_n provide_v always_o that_o no_o consideratien_n shall_v be_v allow_v for_o building_n or_o clear_v to_o any_o person_n that_o shall_v obstinate_o persist_v after_o lawful_a warning_n give_v he_o to_o desist_v lxxi_o not_o to_o shoot_v or_o range_v upon_o other_o man_n land_n whereas_o the_o right_n and_o interest_n of_o the_o inhabitant_n be_v very_o
much_o infringe_v by_o the_o hunt_n and_o shoot_v of_o divers_a man_n upon_o their_o neighbour_n dividend_n contrary_a to_o the_o privilege_n grant_v they_o by_o their_o patent_n whereby_o many_o injury_n do_v daily_o happen_v to_o the_o owner_n of_o the_o say_a land_n proprietor_n no_o person_n shall_v hunt_v or_o shoot_v within_o the_o limit_n of_o a_o other_o dividend_n without_o leave_n of_o the_o proprietor_n be_v it_o enact_v that_o if_o any_o planter_n or_o other_o shall_v hunt_v or_o shoot_v within_o the_o limit_n of_o a_o other_o dividend_n without_o leave_n first_o obtain_v from_o the_o proprietor_n he_o or_o they_o so_o offend_v shall_v forfeit_v for_o every_o such_o trespass_n four_o hundred_o pound_n of_o tobacco_n one_o half_a to_o the_o owner_n of_o the_o land_n and_o the_o other_o half_a to_o public_a uses_n notwithstanding_o it_o shall_v be_v lawful_a for_o any_o person_n or_o person_n to_o hunt_v or_o shoot_v upon_o any_o dividend_n of_o land_n not_o plant_v or_o seat_v though_o take_v up_o without_o restraint_n or_o penalty_n provide_v also_o that_o it_o shall_v be_v lawful_a for_o any_o person_n that_o have_v shoot_v any_o game_n without_o the_o
