LXXXII GOD in the congregation stanâ— of them that mighty be He al 's among the lower Gods doth judge most righteouslie verse 2 How long will yee unjustly still thus judge and right reject And persons of the wicked men accept with such respect verse 3 Defend those whom poor in the â— and fatherlesse yee see To the afflicted justice doe and those that needy be verse 4 Deliver now those that are poore and needy in the land With care and diligence them rid out of the wickeds hand They know not nor wil understand in darknesse they walk on All the foundations of the earth now out of course are gone verse 6 I have thus said that ye are gods who sit in dignitie And that of him who is most High you all the children be verse 7 But like all other mortall men at last heer die ye shall And like one of the Princes ye assuredly shall fall verse 8 To judge the earth with judgement just arise O GOD of might For thou all Nations every where inherit shalt by right PSALME LXXXIII KEep not thou silence in this time O GOD in thy good will Hold not thy peace O God at all and be not ever still verse 2 For lo thine enmies all most strong a tumult make indeed And they that wickedly thee hate have now lift up the head verse 3 They crafty counsell taken have against thy people small Against the poor and hidden ones consulted have they all verse 4 Come let us cut this nation off they have said spight fullie That Israels name no more at all may in remembrance be verse 5 For they together have with one consent consulted all Confederate still they alwayes are against thee great and small verse 6 The Tabernacles of Edom and Ishmaelites in war Of Moab and the Hagarens combined with them were verse 7 Gebal Ammon and Amalek all joyn'd in one desire The Philistims with them were al 's th' inhabitants of Tyre verse 8 Assur in armes with them alwayes is join'd in wicked plot They by their force have holpen much the children al 's of Lot verse 9 Do unto them even as thou didst to Midianites eachone to Sifera and Jabin al 's at the brook or Kishon verse 10 Which perish did in number great at Endor suddenly There they unburi'd for the earth were made as dung to be verse 11 Like Oreb and like Zeeb al 's their nobles make to fall Yea as Zebah and Zalmunnah make thou their Princes all verse 12 Who said in proud and lofty worâ— let us Gods houses take And them all by our mightie hand our own possession make verse 13 O my GOD like a rolling wheele make them thy force to find Yea as dry stubble that is driven before a mightie wind verse 14 Ev'n as a fire upon the earth a wood burns speedilie And as the flame doth set on fire the mountaines that are hie verse 15 So with thy tempest persecute them whom such faults deforme And make them greatly all afraide with thy most fearfull storme verse 16 With great disgrace their faces all cov'red ov'r with shame That by this means they with their heâ— may seeke O LORD thy Name verse 17 Let them also confounded be and troubled ev'n for ever Yea let them be put unto shame and perish altogether verse 18 That men may know that thou whose Name JEHOVAH is alone Art the most High even over all that are the earth upon PSAL. LXXXIIII O Thou who art the Lord of hosts how amiable are Thy Tabernacles unto me removed now so sarre verse 2 My soul doth long yea ev'n doth faint in the LORDS courts to be My heart and flesh do cry out for the living GOD most hie verse 3 Yea ev'n the sparrow hath well found an house wherein to rest And al 's the swallow for herself hath likewise found a nest Ev'n thine Altars where she her young may lay and al 's upbring O Lord of Hosts who art my GOD and my most mighty King verse 4 They blessed are that in thy house do dwell with thy good will For they with glad and joyfull heaâ—â— will thee be praising still verse 5 Most blessed is the man whose stregâ— is wholly plac'd in
verse 11 To all the beasts even of the field they drink give as they list The asses wilde among their streames do gladly quench their thirst verse 12 By them shal all the fowls of heav'n take pleasure for to dwell â—hich on green branches blooming fair in sweetest songs excell He wattreth froÌ„ his chambers high the hills aboundantlie â—he earth with the fruit of thy works is satisfi'd by thee verse 14 For cattell he makes grasse to grow and herb exceeding good â—or mans service that from the earth he may bring foorth his food verse 15 And wine that makes mans heart be glad and oil in every part To make his face to shine and bread which strengthneth a mans heart verse 16 The pleasant trees of God the Lord even full of sap do stand Of Lebanon the Cedars which he planted with his hand verse 17 Where make their nests wherein to sit the birds melodious As for the Stork the fire trees are appointed for her house verse 18 For the wild Goats the higest hilâ— are a most sure refuge â—esâ—gâ— The ragged rocks ordained are the Conies for to lodge verse 19 For seasons he appointeth still the Moon likewise the Sun Swift in his course still knoweth well each day his going down verse 20 Thou makest darknes by thy might and it is night indeed Wherein beasts of the forrest all creep foorth then for to feed verse 21 The Lions young run heer and there and roar to get their prey And from the GOD that formed them their meat seek evry day verse 22 The Sun ariseth they themselves together gather then And lay them down most quietly in their retired den verse 23 Man goeth foorth then chearfully unto his work with speed And to his labour carefully untill the evening tide verse 24 How manifold Lord are thy works in wisdome wonderfull Thou madst them all the earth always is of thy riches full verse 25 So is this sea that 's great and wide wherein things creeping all Innumerable are ev'n beasts that are both great and small verse 26 There also go with speedie course the Ships swift in their way There is that Leviathan whom thou madst therein to play verse 27 All those things wel do wait on thee that as thou thinkest meet Thou mayest still in season due give unto them their meat verse 28 That which thou givest unto them they gather for their food Thy hand thou op'nest chearfully and they are fill'd with good verse 29 Thy face thou hidest then they are all troubled and do mourne Thou tak'st away their breath they die and to their dust returne verse 30 Thou sendest forth thy sprit they art created by thy breath And thou by thy great might renewe the face of all the earth verse 31 The glory of the LORD our GOD endure shall fast for ever The Lord God also shall rejoice in his great works of wonder verse 32 The earth below doth tremble all when he on it doth look The hils he toucheth that are high and they together smoak verse 33 I to the Lord ev'n while I live will sing as he doth crave I will sing praise unto my GOD while I my being have verse 34 My meditation of him shall be most sweet unto me Yea in the LORD that me sustaines I ever glad will be verse 35 Consume thou sinners froÌ„ the earth let wicked be no more Blesse now the Lord O thou my soul praise ye the LORD therefore PSAL. CXII PRaise ye the Lord blest is the man that fears the LORD aright That in his wise commandments all still greatly doth delight verse 2 His seed shall mighty be upon the earth assuredlie The uprights generation shall for ever blessed be verse 3 Great wealth and riches ever fast shall in his house be sure And his most perfect righteousnesse for ever doth endure verse 4 To the upright ariseth light in darknesse speedilie Most gracious of compassion full and righteous al 's is he verse 5 A good man sheweth favour still and willingly doth lend He with discretion his affaires will guide ev'n to the end verse 6 He surely not for ever shall be mov'd so fix'd is he The righteous in remembrance sure shall everlasting be verse 7 He shall not be afraid of what ill tidings can afford His heart is ever fixed fast still trusting in the Lord. verse 8 His heart always estabish'd is he not afraid shall be Untill upon his enmies all his full desire he see verse 9 He hath dispersd and given to poor his righteousnesse for ay Endures his horn with honour shall exalted be alway verse 10 The wicked grieved shall it see his teeth he gnashing all Shall melt away and the desire of ill men perish shall PSAL. CXIII PRaise ye the Lord O of the Lord ye servants now proclame His worthy praise of God the Lord praise the most holy Name verse 2 Now of the LORD most blessed be the Name which we adore From this time forth from age to age and al 's for evermore verse 3 From the first rising of the Sun unto his going down The LORDS Name to be honour'd is with praise and great renown verse 4 The LORD above all nations is most high in Majestie And likewise is his glory great above the heavens hie verse 5 Who is now like unto the LORD our God who doth excell Who on high in the highest heav'n with Majestie doth dwell verse 6 Who though most high yet he himseâ—â— still humbleth in his love Things to behold that are on earth and in the heav'ns above verse 7 Out of the dust he raiseth up the poor in miserie And out of the dung hill also the needie lifteth hie verse 8 That he him up in dignitie with Princes high may set With those that of his people all are ev'n the Princes great He doth the barren woman make to keep house and to be A mother glade of children dear the mighty LORD praise yee PSAL. CXIIII WHen Israel out of Egypt land went by a happy change And Jacobs house a people left that were of language strange His Sanctuarie Judah was wherein he chosd to dwell â—nd Isra'l his dominion al 's which he did rule right well The sea it saw and as in feare with hast the flight did take And Jordans river running straight was driv'n most quickly back verse 4 The mountains steep with their high tops did quake and skip as rams So did like wise the little hills ev'n like the younger lambs verse 5 What aild thee O thou troubled fâ— that thou the flight didst take Thou Jordan that so speedilie thou wast by force driv'n back verse 6 Ye mountaines high what was 〈◊〉 cauâ—â— that ye did skip like rams What mov'd you also little hills to skip like younger lambs verse 7 Thou at the presence of the Lord earth tremble all and fear Ev'n at the presence of the GOD of Jacob to him dear verse 8 Which into waters turn'd the roâ— ev'n standing like a lake And in the flint a fountain fair of waters clear did make PSAL. CXV LOrd not to us not unto us but unto thy name take Great glory for thy stedfast truth and for thy mercies sake verse 2 Wherefore should new the heath 〈◊〉 where is their God alone But our God's in the heav'ns he hath what ever he pleased done Their idols silver are and gold workes of mens hands they be They have mouths made but can not speak and eyes but they not see Of ears they have the shape but they hear not what men do tell They noses formed also have but there with cannot smell They hands have but they handle not and feet but cannot walk A throat they have but throgh it they can no way speak or talk To those vain things they are most like that in their wayes unjust Them make ev'n so is every one that into them doth trust verse 9 Trust thou O Israel in the Lord their help and shield that be verse 10 Trust in the Lord O A'rons house their help and shield is he verse 11 Ye that do fear the living Lord trust in the Lord alway He is their strong help and their shield that still upon him stay verse 12 The Lord of us hath mindfull been he sure will blesse us still He will blesse Israls house the house of Aaron blesse he will verse 13 He wil them blesse that fear the Lord and that both great and small verse 14 God shal increase you more more you and your children all verse 15 You all that have an upright heart are blessed of the Lord Which both the heav'n al 's the earth made by his mighty word verse 16 The heav'n ye ev'n the heav'ns above are all the Lords by right But to the sons of men he hath the earth giv'n by his might verse 17 The dead in grave can in no way praise give the Lord unto Nor any whatsoever that down into 〈◊〉 go But we the mighty Lord above will blesse with one accord â—om this time forth for evermore most gladly praise the Lord. CXVI Love the Lord and that because he with attentive ear â—y voice and supplications al 's most willingly did hear Because he hath inclin'd his ear unto me troubled all â—erefore as long as heer I live I will upon him call Of death the sorrows compassd me and paines of hell got hold â—oon time I found troubles great and sorrows manifold Upon the name of GOD the LORD then did I call and say LORD my soul

CXXXIII BEhold how good a thing it is and pleasant for to see That brethren should together dwell in peace and unitie verse 2 Like precious ointment on the heaâ— that on the beard did fall Ev'n Aarons beard that to the skirts went of his garments all â—'n Aarons beard who was a man by GOD almighty sent â—â—t down from thence unto the skirts of all his garments went â—ike Hermons dew like dew which down the Zions hills ran o're â— there the blessing God ordain'd ev'n life for evermore PSAL. CXXXIV â—Ehold and blesse the Lord all ye that serve the LORD aright â—â—ich in the house of God the Lord to serve him stand by night Your hands lift in the Sanctuary and bless the Lord in this The Lord that made the heav'n and earth thee out of Zion blesse PSAL. CXXXV â—Raise ye the Lord praise ye also his Name with one accord â—â—aise him with heart and voice O ye the servants of the Lord.
