If any man come to me and hate not his father and mother and wife and children and brethren and sisters yea and his own life also he cannot be may disciple Christ forbids not the honour due to parents Mat. 10. 37 but he saith He that loves them more then me is not worthy of me for all things must be forsaken and hated too so far as they hinder our love of God and Christ for all things must give place to the love of God and that takes not away our duty or due honour to our parents 95.
