any_o may_v also_o inform_v and_o present_v any_o misdemeanour_n to_o any_o magistrate_n grand-jury-man_n or_o court_n any_o law_n custom_n or_o usage_n to_o the_o contrary_a notwithstanding_o 1668._o action_n it_o be_v order_v by_o this_o court_n and_o the_o authority_n thereof_o that_o all_o action_n of_o debt_n tryable_a action_n when_o tryable_a account_n slander_n and_o action_n of_o the_o case_n concern_v debt_n and_o account_n shall_v henceforth_o be_v try_v where_o the_o plaintiff_n please_v so_o it_o be_v in_o the_o jurisdiction_n of_o that_o court_n where_o the_o plaintiff_n or_o defendant_n dwell_v unless_o by_o consent_n under_o both_o their_o hand_n it_o do_v appear_v they_o will_v have_v the_o case_n try_v in_o any_o other_o court_n all_o other_o action_n shall_v be_v try_v within_o that_o jurisdiction_n where_o the_o cause_n of_o the_o action_n do_v arise_v 2._o whereas_o sundry_a inconvenience_n do_v arise_v by_o reason_n that_o plaintiff_n in_o civil_a case_n true_a intent_n of_o the_o order_n in_o that_o case_n establish_v many_o whereof_o be_v unknown_a most_o so_o unruly_a that_o they_o can_v by_o no_o mean_n be_v catch_v or_o get_v into_o custody_n whereby_o their_o owner_n may_v answer_v damage_n and_o if_o sometime_o with_o much_o difficulty_n and_o charge_n they_o be_v they_o be_v in_o danger_n of_o perish_v before_o the_o owner_n appear_v or_o can_v be_v find_v out_o all_o which_o to_o prevent_v it_o be_v order_v by_o this_o court_n and_o the_o authority_n thereof_o that_o every_o town_n and_o peculiar_a in_o this_o jurisdiction_n cattle_n every_o town_n to_o have_v a_o distinct_a mark_n for_o cattle_n shall_v henceforth_o give_v some_o distinct_a brand-mark_a appoint_v by_o this_o court_n a_o copy_n of_o which_o mark_n each_o clerk_n or_o the_o writ_n in_o every_o town_n shall_v keep_v a_o record_n upon_o the_o horn_n or_o leave_v buttock_n or_o shoulder_n of_o all_o their_o cattle_n which_o feed_v in_o open_a common_a without_o constant_a keeper_n whereby_o it_o may_v be_v know_v to_o what_o town_n they_o do_v belong_v damage_n cattle_n not_o mark_v trespass_v pay_n double_a damage_n and_o if_o any_o trespass_n in_o case_n of_o defamation_n and_o battery_n 1647._o 49._o 3._o whereas_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o concourse_n of_o people_n and_o increase_v of_o trade_n in_o the_o town_n of_o boston_n suit_n at_o law_n be_v grow_v more_o frequent_a 6._o a._n 51._o p._n 6._o where_o the_o county_n court_n be_v much_o prolong_v and_o forasmuch_o as_o many_o crime_n be_v also_o commit_v in_o the_o say_a town_n by_o stranger_n and_o other_o which_o often_o escape_v unpunished_a for_o the_o prevention_n whereof_o boston_n commissioner_n of_o boston_n it_o be_v order_v by_o this_o court_n and_o the_o authority_n thereof_o that_o there_o be_v seven_o freeman_n resident_a in_o boston_n annual_o choose_v by_o the_o freeman_n of_o the_o say_a town_n and_o present_v to_o the_o court_n of_o assistant_n
