say_a clause_n and_o that_o the_o say_a speaker_n and_o clerk_n of_o the_o council_n and_o sir_n audley_n mervin_n sir_n george_n lane_n philip_n ferneley_n and_o other_o mention_v in_o the_o say_a clause_n contain_v in_o the_o say_v former_a act_n be_v pay_v by_o such_o person_n and_o person_n body_n politic_a and_o corporate_a their_o heir_n and_o successor_n who_o receive_v any_o grant_n of_o or_o settlement_n in_o any_o forfeit_a land_n tenement_n or_o hereditament_n by_o virtue_n of_o or_o in_o pursuance_n of_o this_o act_n or_o of_o the_o say_v former_a act_n not_o set_v out_o to_o they_o in_o satisfaction_n
hereafter_o to_o be_v grant_v shall_v any_o way_n extend_v to_o discharge_v or_o acquit_v any_o arrearage_n of_o quitrent_n reserve_v by_o the_o say_v former_a act_n and_o still_o behind_o and_o unpaid_a nor_o to_o acquit_v that_o part_n and_o proportion_n of_o the_o three_o hundred_o thousand_o pound_n herein_o hereafter_o mention_v and_o intend_v to_o be_v raise_v and_o which_o by_o the_o rule_n of_o this_o act_n will_v be_v payable_a by_o such_o patentee_n and_o leviable_a upon_o the_o land_n in_o the_o say_a letter_n patent_n contain_v nor_o any_o measn_a profit_n which_o have_v be_v receive_v of_o land_n set_v out_o for_o english_a arrear_n or_o in_o satisfaction_n of_o any_o adventure_n upon_o the_o double_a ordinance_n above_o what_o the_o original_a money_n do_v deserve_v or_o in_o satisfaction_n of_o any_o other_o title_n or_o interest_n not_o satisfiable_a by_o this_o or_o the_o say_v former_a act_n nor_o to_o discharge_v any_o sum_n or_o sum_n of_o money_n which_o person_n transplant_v into_o conaught_n receive_v upon_o sale_n of_o their_o estate_n in_o conaught_n and_o yet_o have_v since_o be_v restore_v to_o their_o former_a estate_n or_o some_o part_n thereof_o by_o virtue_n of_o some_o clause_n in_o the_o say_v former_a act_n contain_v or_o some_o decree_n or_o other_o proceed_n have_v upon_o the_o say_a act_n or_o shall_v be_v so_o restore_v by_o virtue_n of_o any_o clause_n contain_v in_o these_o present_n all_o which_o arrearage_n of_o quitrent_n measn_a profit_n or_o other_o sum_n of_o money_n as_o aforesaid_a shall_v be_v and_o be_v any_o person_n or_o person_n body_n politic_a or_o corporate_a in_o order_n to_o the_o pass_v of_o any_o letter_n patent_n according_a to_o this_o act_n and_o shall_v likewise_o return_v a_o duplicate_v of_o such_o certificate_n into_o his_o majesty_n court_n of_o exchequer_n at_o dublin_n to_o be_v there_o enrol_v and_o the_o person_n or_o person_n body_n politic_a or_o corporate_a to_o who_o such_o certificate_n shall_v be_v give_v shall_v immediate_o upon_o the_o obtain_n of_o such_o certificate_n and_o from_o time_n to_o time_n during_o the_o space_n of_o six_o month_n next_o ensue_v the_o date_n thereof_o diligent_o and_o without_o intermission_n pursue_v and_o prosecute_v the_o have_v and_o obtain_v of_o letter_n patent_n according_o and_o in_o order_n thereunto_o thereof_o delay_v or_o hinder_v by_o the_o neglect_n of_o any_o officer_n or_o minister_n as_o aforesaid_a that_o there_o and_o in_o such_o case_n the_o several_a and_o respective_a person_n body_n politic_a and_o corporate_a to_o who_o or_o in_o who_o behalf_n such_o certificate_n shall_v be_v give_v or_o grant_v shall_v hold_v and_o enjoy_v the_o several_a message_n manor_n land_n tenement_n and_o hereditament_n in_o the_o several_a and_o respective_a certificate_n mention_v and_o allot_v according_a to_o such_o estate_n and_o under_o such_o rent_n as_o be_v therein_o mention_v as_o full_o and_o ample_o to_o all_o intent_n and_o purpose_n as_o if_o letter_n patent_n thereof_o have_v be_v grant_v and_o perfect_v according_a to_o the_o direction_n of_o this_o act_n any_o thing_n in_o this_o or_o the_o say_v former_a act_n and_o any_o other_o law_n statute_n or_o usage_n to_o the_o contrary_a notwithstanding_o provide_v always_o and_o be_v it_o enact_v that_o where_o any_o soldier_n or_o soldier_n adventurer_n or_o adventurer_n his_o or_o their_o heir_n executor_n assignee_n or_o assign_n have_v have_v any_o land_n tenement_n or_o hereditament_n former_o set_v out_o to_o he_o or_o they_o as_o well_o in_o satisfaction_n of_o arrear_n due_a for_o service_n do_v in_o england_n as_o of_o arrear_n due_a for_o service_n do_v in_o ireland_n or_o in_o satisfaction_n of_o adventure_n upon_o the_o double_a ordinance_n or_o in_o satisfaction_n of_o any_o other_o title_n and_o interest_n not_o provide_v for_o by_o this_o act_n together_o with_o other_o adventure_n and_o such_o set_n forth_o of_o land_n have_v be_v promiscuous_o and_o indefinite_o as_o in_o the_o gross_a without_o any_o particular_a application_n or_o distinction_n of_o the_o land_n show_v which_o part_n of_o the_o say_a land_n be_v intend_v as_o a_o satisfaction_n of_o the_o english_a arrear_n and_o which_o part_n as_o a_o satisfaction_n of_o the_o irish_a arrear_n or_o which_o part_n be_v set_v out_o in_o satisfaction_n of_o adventure_n upon_o the_o double_a ordinance_n or_o of_o other_o title_n or_o interest_n not_o provide_v for_o by_o this_o act_n and_o which_o part_n for_o other_o adventure_n and_o the_o whole_a or_o part_n of_o the_o say_a land_n so_o promiscuous_o set_v out_o as_o aforesaid_a have_v be_v evict_v or_o decree_v away_o by_o virtue_n of_o some_o proceed_n of_o the_o commissioner_n appoint_v for_o execution_n of_o the_o say_v former_a act_n that_o then_o and_o in_o such_o case_n the_o land_n so_o evict_v or_o decree_v as_o aforesaid_a shall_v be_v account_v in_o law_n to_o be_v such_o land_n only_o as_o be_v intend_v for_o the_o satisfaction_n of_o english_a arrear_n or_o adventure_n upon_o the_o double_a ordinance_n or_o of_o other_o title_n and_o interest_n not_o provide_v for_o by_o this_o act_n so_o far_o as_o the_o same_o will_v extend_v and_o all_o account_n and_o payment_n of_o the_o measn_a profit_n of_o the_o land_n so_o evict_v be_v to_o cease_v for_o so_o much_o from_o the_o time_n of_o such_o eviction_n or_o decree_n as_o aforesaid_a nevertheless_o it_o be_v declare_v that_o nothing_o herein_o contain_v shall_v exclude_v such_o person_n or_o person_n from_o have_v their_o full_a two_o three_o part_n which_o be_v satisfiable_a by_o the_o rule_n of_o this_o act_n and_o from_o retain_v so_o much_o whereof_o they_o remain_v possess_v for_o and_o towards_o such_o satisfaction_n and_o to_o the_o end_n the_o subject_n of_o this_o kingdom_n may_v be_v in_o some_o measure_n ease_v of_o those_o charge_n which_o be_v usual_a and_o ordinary_a in_o pass_v of_o letter_n patent_n be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o it_o shall_v and_o may_v be_v lawful_a to_o and_o for_o so_o many_o of_o his_o majesty_n subject_n as_o shall_v desire_v the_o same_o to_o be_v join_v in_o one_o and_o the_o same_o letter_n patent_n the_o due_a caution_n before_o mention_a be_v therein_o observe_v so_o as_o the_o land_n thereby_o grant_v in_o case_n of_o such_o be_v join_v exceed_v not_o the_o quantity_n of_o fifteen_o thousand_o acre_n english_a measure_n in_o one_o patent_n nevertheless_o it_o shall_v and_o may_v be_v lawful_a to_o and_o for_o the_o lord_n lieutenant_n or_o other_o chief_a governor_n or_o governor_n of_o ireland_n and_o council_n there_o for_o the_o time_n be_v in_o these_o and_o all_o other_o case_n touch_v patent_n to_o be_v grant_v by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n to_o regulate_v and_o moderate_v the_o fee_n of_o officer_n as_o they_o shall_v think_v fit_a according_a to_o circumstance_n and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o where_o any_o land_n shall_v be_v allot_v unto_o or_o detain_v by_o any_o adventurer_n or_o soldier_n or_o the_o heir_n executor_n assignee_n or_o assign_v of_o any_o adventurer_n or_o soldier_n for_o and_o towards_o he_o and_o their_o full_a two_o three_o part_n or_o for_o any_o part_n thereof_o which_o land_n so_o allot_v or_o detain_v as_o aforesaid_a shall_v be_v
heir_n and_o successor_n to_o the_o use_n herein_o before_o and_o after_o mention_v and_o where_o any_o of_o the_o land_n so_o purchase_v have_v be_v evict_v by_o any_o decree_n herein_o after_o confirm_v or_o shall_v be_v give_v or_o restore_v to_o any_o person_n or_o person_n by_o any_o special_a clause_n or_o proviso_n herein_o contain_v the_o commissioner_n for_o execution_n of_o this_o to_o two_o three_o part_n of_o the_o land_n so_o evict_v or_o restore_v as_o aforesaid_a and_o it_o be_v likewise_o further_o declare_v and_o enact_v that_o the_o person_n to_o be_v settle_v in_o connaght_n and_o clare_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o from_o who_o a_o three_o part_n be_v to_o be_v retrencht_v and_o cut_v of_o as_o aforesaid_a shall_v be_v and_o be_v hereby_o discharge_v of_o and_o from_o the_o year_n rend_v reserve_v and_o pay_v by_o charles_n earl_n of_o mountrath_n and_o other_o in_o a_o particular_a clause_n in_o the_o say_v former_a act_n mention_v and_o of_o and_o from_o the_o five_o of_o june_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o forty_o and_o nine_o protestant_a purchasor_n in_o connaght_n and_o clare_n transplant_v person_n nor_o the_o heir_n executor_n assignee_n or_o assign_n of_o they_o or_o any_o of_o they_o nor_o any_o other_o person_n or_o person_n body_n politic_a or_o corporate_a who_o by_o the_o say_v former_a act_n of_o settlement_n be_v or_o be_v and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o no_o adventurer_n or_o soldier_n nor_o the_o heir_n executor_n assignee_n or_o assign_n of_o any_o adventurer_n or_o soldier_n who_o before_o any_o decree_n of_o innocence_n make_v by_o the_o commissioner_n for_o execution_n of_o the_o say_a act_n do_v by_o himself_o or_o any_o other_o direct_o or_o indirect_o compound_v or_o agree_v with_o any_o irish_a claimant_n who_o claim_n be_v then_o depend_v before_o the_o say_a commissioner_n shall_v ever_o be_v admit_v to_o receive_v or_o have_v his_o two_o three_o part_n or_o any_o other_o satisfaction_n for_o that_o part_n of_o his_o estate_n which_o he_o so_o compound_v or_o agree_v for_o but_o as_o to_o so_o much_o of_o his_o estate_n for_o which_o or_o mention_v to_o be_v dispose_v restore_v confirm_v or_o settle_v unto_o or_o upon_o any_o person_n or_o person_n body_n politic_a or_o corporate_a by_o virtue_n of_o any_o clause_n in_o this_o or_o the_o say_v former_a act_n contain_v and_o not_o particular_o by_o plain_a and_o express_v word_n except_v from_o quit_n rent_n in_o the_o same_o clause_n and_o the_o land_n by_o this_o act_n appoint_v to_o be_v set_v out_o for_o augmentation_n of_o bishopric_n for_o endowment_n of_o parochial_a church_n with_o glebe_n for_o the_o better_a support_n of_o the_o provost_n or_o of_o the_o provost_n and_o fellow_n of_o the_o college_n of_o dublin_n for_o the_o maintenance_n of_o the_o fort_n at_o duncannon_n and_o the_o benefit_n of_o the_o corporation_n at_o bandon-bridge_n and_o all_o the_o land_n enjoy_v by_o transplant_v person_n in_o the_o province_n of_o conaght_n or_o the_o county_n of_o clare_n and_o all_o other_o the_o land_n seize_v sequester_v or_o set_v out_o by_o reason_n of_o or_o upon_o account_n of_o the_o late_a rebellion_n or_o war_n the_o land_n of_o james_n duke_n of_o ormond_n elizabeth_n lady_n duchess_n of_o ormond_n the_o earl_n of_o burlington_n and_o cork_n the_o earl_n of_o roscommon_n and_o other_o the_o protestant_n of_o ireland_n heretofore_o sequester_v only_o except_v be_v subject_a and_o liable_a to_o such_o quitrent_n to_o be_v pay_v unto_o his_o majesty_n his_o heir_n and_o successor_n as_o in_o the_o former_a act_n be_v direct_v and_o appoint_v save_v only_o that_o the_o land_n in_o the_o province_n of_o ulster_n which_o by_o
