our_o call_n and_o election_n sure_a for_o this_o end_n every_o one_o have_v or_o shall_v have_v a_o particular_a and_o general_a call_n to_o work_v in_o both_o to_o keep_v he_o from_o idleness_n and_o to_o put_v he_o upon_o duty_n and_o diligence_n each_o calling_n require_v much_o labour_n and_o diligence_n it_o be_v the_o will_n of_o god_n that_o none_o shall_v stand_v idle_a this_o be_v moment_n idle_a time_n which_o be_v for_o eternity_n be_v too_o precious_a a_o thing_n to_o be_v idle_v away_o to_o be_v spend_v in_o any_o thing_n but_o diligent_a seek_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n the_o corruption_n that_o be_v in_o the_o world_n through_o lust_n and_o be_v make_v partaker_n of_o the_o divine_a nature_n beside_o this_o be_v to_o give_v all_o diligence_n to_o add_v to_o their_o faith_n virtue_n and_o to_o virtue_n knowledge_n and_o to_o knowledge_n temperance_n and_o to_o temperance_n patience_n and_o to_o patience_n godliness_n and_o to_o godliness_n brotherly_n kindness_n and_o to_o brotherly_a kindness_n charity_n till_o they_o abound_v in_o they_o for_o so_o a_o entrance_n shall_v be_v minister_v unto_o they_o abundant_o into_o the_o everlasting_a kingdom_n of_o our_o lord_n and_o saviour_n jesus_n christ_n if_o so_o much_o diligence_n be_v require_v to_o grow_v in_o grace_n what_o diligence_n be_v requisite_a to_o the_o get_n of_o it_o if_o minister_a to_o the_o saint_n be_v a_o work_n and_o labour_n of_o love_n which_o none_o can_v attain_v to_o the_o full_a assurance_n of_o hope_n without_o show_v diligence_n therein_o unto_o the_o end_n what_o work_n and_o labour_n and_o diligence_n will_v every_o grace_n cost_n before_o it_o be_v attain_v and_o perfect_v this_o shall_v by_o no_o mean_n discourage_v but_o quicken_v we_o our_o labour_n will_v not_o be_v in_o vain_a in_o the_o lord_n let_v we_o not_o be_v weary_a in_o well-doing_n for_o in_o due_a season_n we_o shall_v reap_v if_o we_o faint_v not_o if_o we_o be_v at_o the_o pain_n to_o sow_v holiness_n in_o the_o seedtime_n of_o this_o life_n we_o shall_v reap_v happiness_n in_o the_o harvest_n of_o eternity_n they_o who_o labour_n for_o rest_n shall_v rest_v from_o their_o labour_n and_o when_o man_n do_v evil_a with_o both_o hand_n earnest_o the_o time_n be_v then_o evil_a with_o a_o witness_n but_o their_o mischief_n will_v return_v upon_o their_o own_o head_n and_o their_o a_o man_n so_o good_a that_o when_o one_o will_v scarce_o die_v for_o a_o righteous_a or_o just_a man_n peradventure_o for_o a_o good_a or_o charitable_a man_n some_o will_v even_o dare_v to_o die_v if_o not_o he_o dare_v die_v for_o himself_o or_o for_o the_o brethren_n which_o he_o ought_v to_o do_v when_o lawful_o call_v thereunto_o none_o in_o so_o sure_a and_o safe_a a_o way_n to_o the_o kingdom_n of_o glory_n as_o a_o man_n of_o charity_n put_v on_o therefore_o as_o the_o elect_a of_o god_n bowel_n of_o mercy_n kindness_n humbleness_n of_o mind_n meekness_n long-suffering_a forbear_v one_o another_o and_o forgive_a one_o another_o as_o christ_n forgive_v you_o but_o above_o all_o these_o thing_n put_v on_o charity_n which_o be_v the_o bond_n of_o perfection_n and_o beside_o be_v partaker_n of_o the_o divine_a nature_n and_o give_v all_o diligence_n to_o add_v to_o faith_n virtue_n and_o to_o virtue_n knowledge_n and_o to_o knowledge_n temperance_n and_o to_o temperance_n patience_n and_o to_o patience_n godliness_n and_o to_o godliness_n brotherly_a kindness_n and_o to_o brotherly_a kindness_n add_v charity_n for_o so_o a_o entrance_n shall_v be_v minister_v unto_o you_o abundant_o into_o the_o everlasting_a kingdom_n of_o our_o lord_n and_o saviour_n jesus_n christ_n 5._o to_o charity_n add_v also_o chastity_n which_o be_v a_o virtue_n not_o only_o necessary_a and_o preparatory_a but_o essential_a to_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n for_o there_o shall_v in_o no_o wise_n enter_v into_o it_o any_o thing_n that_o defile_v neither_o whatsoever_o work_v father_n i_o seek_v not_o say_v he_o i_o own_o will_n but_o the_o will_n of_o the_o father_n which_o have_v send_v i_o and_o i_o do_v always_o those_o thing_n that_o please_v he_o every_o one_o of_o we_o be_v to_o please_v his_o neighbour_n for_o his_o good_a to_o edification_n and_o the_o reason_n be_v for_o even_o christ_n please_v not_o himself_o leave_v we_o a_o example_n that_o we_o shall_v faith_n of_o this_o sort_n be_v they_o which_o creep_v into_o house_n and_o lead_v captive_a silly_a woman_n lade_v with_o sin_n lead_v away_o with_o divers_a lust_n ever_o learning_n and_o never_o able_a to_o come_v to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o truth_n because_o they_o will_v not_o endure_v sound_a doctrine_n but_o after_o their_o own_o lust_n they_o heap_v to_o themselves_o teacher_n have_v itch_a ear_n and_o turn_v away_o their_o ear_n from_o hear_v the_o truth_n and_o be_v turn_v unto_o fable_n not_o consent_v to_o wholesome_a word_n even_o the_o word_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n and_o to_o the_o doctrine_n which_o be_v according_a to_o godliness_n be_v proud_a know_v nothing_o dote_v fool_n or_o sick_a about_o question_n and_o strife_n of_o word_n whereof_o come_v envy_n strife_n rail_n and_o surmise_v perverse_a dispute_n of_o man_n of_o corrupt_a mind_n and_o destitute_a of_o the_o truth_n suppose_v that_o gain_n of_o honour_n by_o their_o doubtful_a disputation_n be_v godliness_n from_o such_o let_v the_o humble_a and_o weak_a in_o faith_n turn_v away_o i_o say_v though_o there_o be_v some_o who_o for_o the_o time_n ought_v to_o be_v teacher_n strong_a meat_n for_o every_o one_o that_o use_v milk_n be_v unskilful_a and_o have_v no_o experience_n in_o the_o word_n of_o righteousness_n for_o he_o be_v a_o babe_n yet_o for_o those_o who_o be_v true_o enlighten_v and_o have_v both_o taste_v of_o and_o relish_v the_o heavenly_a gift_n and_o the_o good_a word_n of_o god_n and_o have_v be_v make_v partaker_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n the_o spirit_n of_o wisdom_n and_o understanding_n the_o spirit_n of_o council_n and_o the_o spirit_n of_o knowledge_n make_v they_o of_o quick_a understanding_n in_o the_o fear_n of_o the_o
