the_o spirit_n be_v so_o grieve_a that_o it_o will_v not_o assist_v we_o in_o any_o prayer_n we_o make_v for_o such_o heb._n 10.29_o reas_n 2._o from_o the_o like_a despite_n they_o offer_v to_o the_o of_o christ_n reach_v not_o to_o such_o than_o he_o will_v never_o make_v intercession_n for_o they_o 4._o from_o the_o encouragement_n god_n be_v wont_a to_o give_v his_o servant_n in_o their_o prayer_n he_o will_v fulfil_v the_o desire_n of_o they_o that_o fear_v he_o psal_n 145.19_o and_o this_o be_v their_o confidence_n that_o whatsoever_o they_o ask_v in_o the_o name_n of_o christ_n they_o shall_v receive_v and_o therefore_o god_n will_v not_o so_o much_o dishonour_v his_o promise_n nor_o discourage_v we_o as_o to_o give_v we_o heart_n not_o to_o pray_v when_o we_o shall_v be_v answer_v we_o may_v pray_v for_o wicked_a man_n who_o we_o know_v not_o in_o what_o condition_n they_o be_v but_o then_o our_o prayer_n shall_v return_v into_o our_o own_o bosom_n psal_n 35.13_o but_o if_o man_n be_v profess_v enemy_n to_o christ_n than_o we_o do_v not_o show_v ourselves_o to_o be_v god_n friend_n if_o we_o show_v friendship_n to_o they_o or_o pray_v for_o they_o and_o therefore_o our_o prayer_n will_v do_v they_o no_o good_a and_o ourselves_o harm_n use_v 1_o to_o teach_v we_o that_o sin_n unto_o death_n may_v be_v discern_v even_o of_o common_a christian_n for_o else_o why_o do_v he_o write_v to_o common_a christian_n to_o all_o believer_n in_o general_a verse_n 13._o that_o if_o his_o brother_n sin_n a_o sin_n unto_o death_n than_o he_o shall_v not_o pray_v for_o he_o use_v 2._o it_o may_v therefore_o teach_v god_n people_n to_o learn_v the_o nature_n of_o this_o sin_n leave_v they_o pray_v unaware_o for_o such_o who_o their_o prayer_n shall_v do_v no_o good_a if_o therefore_o you_o see_v professor_n that_o have_v taste_v of_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n if_o afterward_o they_o malign_v and_o oppose_v those_o way_n and_o the_o servant_n of_o god_n in_o this_o case_n save_v your_o labour_n in_o pray_v for_o they_o your_o prayer_n will_v do_v no_o good_a but_o harm_n but_o how_o shall_v we_o discern_v when_o they_o be_v enlighten_v and_o convince_v we_o may_v indeed_o discern_v their_o malignity_n and_o opposition_n but_o it_o may_v be_v they_o do_v it_o of_o ignorance_n in_o this_o case_n our_o saviour_n and_o stephen_n pray_v for_o their_o adversary_n because_o they_o know_v not_o what_o they_o do_v therefore_o three_o thousand_o after_o they_o be_v convince_v that_o it_o be_v the_o christ_n who_o they_o have_v persecute_v they_o be_v prick_v in_o their_o heart_n and_o bring_v on_o to_o repentance_n therefore_o if_o you_o discern_v they_o do_v this_o out_o of_o ignorance_n pray_v hearty_o for_o they_o but_o how_o may_v we_o discern_v they_o commit_v this_o against_o the_o light_n and_o knowledge_n of_o the_o truth_n answ_n if_o they_o do_v express_v in_o their_o speech_n and_o conversation_n that_o they_o be_v affect_v with_o christ_n and_o the_o way_n of_o his_o grace_n and_o convince_v that_o those_o be_v the_o right_a way_n and_o yet_o afterward_o they_o malicious_o oppose_v those_o way_n then_o pray_v not_o for_o they_o mat._n 21.28_o the_o pharisee_n know_v christ_n to_o be_v the_o heir_n
