contrary_n 2._o abuse_v also_o the_o flattery_n of_o the_o world_n who_o be_v ready_a to_o make_v the_o most_o of_o every_o thing_n that_o so_o it_o may_v hold_v we_o still_a captive_n to_o the_o lust_n thereof_o 3._o especial_o abuse_v our_o own_o self-love_n which_o be_v easy_o blind_v in_o the_o judgement_n of_o itself_o and_o our_o secret_a desire_n and_o lust_n 4_o which_o tend_v to_o enjoy_v the_o pleasure_n of_o sin_n or_o by_o this_o overween_a conceit_n much_o warrant_v and_o increase_v thereto_o above_o all_o the_o justice_n of_o the_o allwise_a and_o mighty_a god_n appear_v we_o 〈◊〉_d full_o herein_o who_o have_v as_o a_o judgement_n of_o his_o deceitfuâ—nes_n ordain_v the_o hypocrite_n to_o great_a condemnation_n do_v therefore_o so_o far_o give_v he_o his_o desire_n and_o portion_n in_o this_o life_n psal_a 1â—_n â—4_n that_o whereas_o he_o afflict_v some_o mean_n and_o show_v of_o religion_n to_o this_o end_n as_o tend_v to_o hide_v and_o colour_n sin_n that_o it_o may_v be_v commit_v more_o greedy_o &_o more_o impudent_o maintain_v he_o shall_v therefore_o be_v partaker_n of_o such_o a_o measure_n thereof_o which_o though_o it_o be_v not_o sufficient_a to_o bring_v he_o to_o the_o true_a happiness_n yet_o shall_v it_o prove_v very_o dangerous_a to_o nuzzle_v in_o the_o false_a and_o so_o to_o lead_v he_o on_o more_o secure_o to_o vengeance_n and_o that_o especial_o by_o overprize_v and_o too_o high_a esteem_n thereof_o for_o hereby_o conclude_v that_o he_o be_v in_o y_z e_z right_n he_o do_v not_o only_o despise_v and_o condemn_v all_o further_a measure_n but_o find_v they_o to_o stand_v with_o and_o further_o his_o present_a enjoy_n of_o the_o pleasure_n of_o sin_n he_o grow_v to_o sacrifice_v to_o his_o net_n and_o make_v idol_n of_o his_o gift_n now_o keep_v state_n with_o they_o and_o extend_v they_o rather_o to_o show_v and_o outward_a pomp_n than_o any_o whit_n husband_v or_o employ_v y_o e_o same_o mat._n 25._o by_o which_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o not_o exercise_v his_o talent_n the_o lord_n purpose_v to_o strip_v he_o thereof_o and_o yet_o not_o until_o the_o hypocrite_n be_v most_o willing_a thereunto_o and_o to_o make_v he_o willing_a note_n serve_v very_o just_o the_o main_a abuse_n of_o his_o gift_n which_o wound_v his_o conscience_n and_o so_o labour_v his_o reformation_n he_o be_v so_o far_o from_o answer_v the_o lord_n herein_o as_o that_o rather_o than_o he_o will_v endure_v this_o scourge_n he_o be_v content_v to_o part_n with_o knowledge_n yea_o to_o be_v rid_v of_o conscience_n yea_o all_o sense_n of_o divine_a power_n that_o so_o he_o may_v enjoy_v his_o pleasure_n more_o secure_o without_o controlment_n by_o which_o as_o he_o make_v up_o the_o measure_n of_o his_o sin_n so_o he_o hasten_v upon_o himself_o a_o great_a measure_n of_o condemnation_n loe_o here_o the_o confusion_n of_o the_o hypocrite_n wisdom_n behold_v the_o wicked_a take_v in_o their_o own_o craftiness_n and_o learn_v we_o hence_o in_o god_n fear_n to_o suspect_v and_o try_v ourselves_o be_v we_o give_v to_o make_v molehill_n mountain_n trial_n to_o overprise_v the_o blessing_n of_o god_n bestow_v upon_o we_o certain_o as_o it_o be_v a_o sin_n to_o diminish_v any_o good_a blessing_n of_o god_n &_o a_o great_a evil_n to_o deprave_v &_o disgrace_v the_o same_o see_v the_o least_o we_o be_v not_o worthy_a of_o and_o he_o
