shall_v reason_v thus_o well_o if_o there_o be_v such_o a_o mystery_n in_o pardon_n of_o sin_n and_o that_o god_n when_o he_o pardon_v sin_n at_o first_o lay_v in_o a_o pardon_n for_o all_o sin_n afterward_o this_o will_v make_v way_n for_o more_o sin_n take_v notice_n here_o of_o the_o infinite_a perverseness_n of_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n suppose_v it_o be_v not_o thus_o but_o the_o contrary_n be_v true_a that_o god_n indeed_o pardon_v the_o sin_n of_o a_o believer_n come_v to_o he_o but_o if_o ever_o he_o sin_n after_o pardon_n let_v he_o look_v to_o it_o he_o shall_v then_o be_v under_o the_o sentence_n of_o death_n and_o condemnation_n upon_o this_o a_o man_n heart_n will_v not_o be_v more_o engage_v to_o seek_v after_o christ_n but_o will_v reason_v thus_o well_o i_o may_v labour_v and_o take_v pain_n and_o suffer_v much_o to_o get_v a_o comfortable_a assurance_n of_o the_o pardon_n of_o sin_n but_o what_o of_o all_o this_o the_o next_o day_n the_o next_o hour_n may_v bestow_v on_o man_n and_o woman_n and_o they_o know_v not_o the_o worth_n of_o they_o and_o do_v not_o mind_n god_n in_o they_o but_o when_o god_n bestow_v pardon_n of_o sin_n he_o make_v the_o soul_n have_v admire_v thought_n of_o it_o and_o to_o know_v what_o it_o be_v jer._n 33.9_o and_o it_o shall_v be_v to_o i_o a_o name_n of_o joy_n a_o praise_n and_o honour_n and_o they_o shall_v like_a case_n if_o you_o can_v find_v your_o old_a evidence_n fall_v to_o work_v to_o renew_v your_o evidence_n and_o do_v not_o spend_v time_n in_o lie_v down_o under_o the_o discouragement_n of_o your_o own_o heart_n the_o six_o rule_n be_v this_o when_o you_o examine_v yourselves_o to_o find_v out_o your_o evidence_n carry_v this_o think_v along_o with_o you_o that_o you_o have_v to_o deal_v temptation_n strong_a upon_o they_o they_o think_v present_o all_o be_v naught_o and_o that_o god_n will_v never_o accept_v of_o they_o what_o be_v the_o reason_n if_o we_o have_v to_o deal_v with_o god_n in_o a_o covenant_n of_o work_n the_o least_o stir_v of_o corruption_n it_o be_v enough_o to_o cast_v the_o soul_n down_o into_o eternal_a horror_n as_o adam_n though_o he_o have_v never_o so_o they_o have_v to_o deal_v with_o god_n in_o a_o covenant_n of_o work_n and_o as_o if_o there_o be_v no_o covenant_n of_o grace_n at_o all_o now_o what_o a_o dishonour_n be_v this_o to_o the_o riches_n of_o god_n goodness_n in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n that_o tell_v we_o we_o be_v not_o to_o be_v judge_v for_o our_o eternal_a estate_n by_o the_o covenant_n of_o work_n and_o tell_v we_o that_o he_o that_o must_v be_v our_o judge_n for_o our_o eternal_a condition_n be_v our_o advocate_n with_o the_o father_n and_o tell_v we_o also_o that_o god_n accept_v of_o the_o uprightness_n and_o the_o sincerity_n of_o the_o heart_n and_o that_o the_o want_n of_o perfection_n shall_v never_o damn_v thy_o soul_n he_o that_o stand_v before_o the_o lord_n to_o make_v atonement_n and_o to_o be_v our_o possible_a that_o my_o estate_n be_v happy_a by_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n collect_v yourselves_o and_o say_v why_o do_v i_o determine_v of_o my_o everlasting_a condition_n have_v i_o to_o deal_v with_o god_n in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n and_o can_v these_o imperfection_n stand_v with_o it_o why_o do_v i_o make_v such_o conclusion_n that_o my_o state_n be_v naught_o because_o of_o the_o stir_n of_o such_o and_o such_o corruption_n the_o doubt_n and_o fear_n of_o most_o christian_n arise_v from_o hence_o because_o they_o have_v not_o a_o clear_a understanding_n of_o the_o difference_n between_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n and_o the_o covenant_n of_o work_n there_o be_v nothing_o in_o the_o world_n will_v so_o satisfy_v the_o conscience_n of_o man_n and_o woman_n so_o as_o a_o clear_a understanding_n of_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n and_o the_o covenant_n of_o work_n many_o people_n cry_v out_o of_o the_o preacher_n that_o they_o disquiet_v and_o trouble_v the_o heart_n of_o people_n by_o their_o preach_a the_o truth_n be_v no_o preacher_n occasion_n so_o much_o the_o trouble_n and_o perplexity_n of_o conscience_n as_o those_o that_o
