two_o faculty_n viz._n our_o mind_n and_o affection_n there_o be_v yet_o another_o who_o service_n be_v necessary_a to_o render_v we_o a_o acceptable_a obedience_n and_o that_o be_v three_o our_o heart_n or_o will_n also_o it_o be_v a_o absurd_a dream_n for_o any_o man_n to_o think_v of_o serve_v god_n without_o his_o will_n because_o without_o that_o none_o of_o his_o action_n can_v be_v call_v his_o own_o for_o that_o only_o be_v impute_v to_o we_o which_o be_v choose_v by_o we_o and_o which_o it_o be_v in_o the_o power_n of_o our_o own_o will_n either_o to_o promote_v or_o hinder_v no_o man_n deserve_v praise_n or_o be_v liable_a to_o answer_v for_o what_o he_o can_v not_o help_v but_o of_o all_o person_n god_n most_o of_o all_o regard_v our_o heart_n in_o all_o our_o not_o up_o all_o our_o affection_n for_o his_o service_n if_o it_o produce_v in_o we_o these_o two_o easy_a passion_n which_o be_v raise_v without_o much_o ado_n and_o may_v well_o be_v spare_v viz._n a_o strong_a confidence_n and_o a_o warm_a zeal_n if_o to_o make_v it_o save_v it_o must_v imply_v a_o joint_a concurrence_n of_o our_o affection_n it_o shall_v be_v only_o of_o these_o two_o it_o shall_v add_v hope_n to_o knowledge_n and_o be_v a_o belief_n that_o god_n will_v save_v sinner_n with_o a_o special_a hope_n and_o fancifull_a confidence_n that_o he_o will_v in_o particular_a save_o be_v tender_a and_o before_o such_o time_n as_o they_o be_v whole_o enslave_v to_o their_o appetite_n and_o quite_o harden_v in_o sin_n their_o conscience_n especial_o in_o some_o great_a and_o frightful_a instance_n will_v not_o only_o suggest_v and_o represent_v their_o duty_n but_o argue_v also_o and_o debate_v against_o their_o lust_n for_o the_o practice_n and_o performance_n of_o it_o and_o then_o man_n be_v not_o win_v at_o the_o first_o offer_n nor_o consent_n to_o fulfil_v the_o sin_n upon_o the_o first_o assault_n of_o the_o temptation_n but_o be_v draw_v in_o after_o a_o long_a deliberation_n and_o debate_n and_o dispute_v the_o matter_n with_o themselves_o before_o they_o submit_v to_o it_o for_o when_o man_n conscience_n do_v not_o naked_o suggest_v but_o moreover_o the_o next_o world_n and_o the_o temptation_n induce_v we_o to_o sin_n present_v we_o with_o a_o fair_a show_n of_o sensitiv_a pleasure_n profit_n or_o honour_n if_o we_o practise_v and_o threaten_v we_o with_o all_o the_o contrary_a evil_n if_o we_o neglect_v it_o both_o which_o it_o set_v before_o we_o as_o thing_n present_a to_o be_v feel_v and_o enjoy_v by_o we_o even_o now_o whilst_o we_o be_v here_o in_o this_o world_n now_o these_o be_v great_a motive_n on_o both_o side_n each_o of_o they_o bid_v fair_a for_o our_o consent_n our_o mind_n or_o conscience_n suggest_v the_o first_o and_o our_o fleshly_a appetite_n and_o carnal_a reason_n represent_v the_o latter_a and_o for_o a_o good_a while_o these_o two_o advocate_n solicit_v the_o cause_n on_o both_o side_n and_o distract_v and_o divide_v our_o will_n between_o they_o so_o that_o when_o at_o last_o the_o temptation_n do_v overcome_v and_o the_o law_n of_o lust_n in_o the_o member_n prevail_v over_o the_o law_n of_o god_n in_o the_o mind_n yet_o be_v that_o after_o a_o strife_n and_o a_o war_n after_o a_o tedious_a toil_n and_o much_o contention_n and_o these_o wilful_a sin_n because_o we_o undergo_v a_o great_a sin_n against_o knowledge_n and_o against_o conscience_n when_o our_o own_o heart_n rebuke_n and_o check_n we_o at_o the_o time_n of_o sin_v tell_v we_o that_o god_n have_v forbid_v that_o which_o we_o be_v about_o to_o do_v notwithstanding_o which_o we_o presume_v to_o do_v it_o and_o if_o it_o happen_v to_o be_v in_o a_o instance_n that_o be_v great_o criminal_a and_o frightful_a unto_o indirect_a and_o interpretative_a choice_n even_o in_o action_n which_o in_o the_o particular_n be_v necessary_a viz._n when_o that_o be_v deliberate_v of_o and_o choose_v which_o make_v they_o so_o all_o our_o action_n in_o a_o necessitous_a state_n be_v indirect_o and_o interpretative_o voluntary_a and_o choose_v when_o the_o necessity_n itself_o be_v of_o our_o own_o choose_n in_o the_o in_o the_o free_a choice_n of_o that_o cause_n which_o make_v they_o afterward_o to_o be_v all_o necessary_a they_o may_v very_o fair_o be_v impute_v to_o we_o and_o interpret_v to_o be_v our_o own_o that_o a_o man_n understanding_n in_o the_o honest_a and_o sincere_a use_n of_o it_o can_v see_v they_o although_o he_o do_v choose_v the_o cause_n yet_o neither_o god_n nor_o man_n will_v look_v it_o need_v not_o look_v upon_o they_o to_o observe_v and_o consider_v they_o and_o since_o we_o do_v not_o particular_o consider_v of_o they_o when_o they_o come_v we_o can_v express_o will_v and_o choose_v they_o but_o forasmuch_o as_o we_o choose_v the_o cause_n of_o this_o inconsideration_n we_o be_v say_v to_o choose_v they_o indirect_o and_o by_o interpretation_n and_o as_o for_o the_o wilful_a and_o choose_a cause_n of_o such_o inconsideration_n i_o shall_v discourse_v of_o they_o under_o these_o two_o sort_n viz._n as_o cause_v such_o inconsideration_n in_o sin_n either_o 1._o custom_n of_o sin_v for_o all_o these_o when_o once_o we_o have_v consent_v to_o they_o take_v away_o either_o whole_o or_o in_o great_a measure_v all_o further_a freedom_n and_o make_v we_o will_n
