testimony_n that_o the_o most-high_a dwell_v not_o in_o temple_n make_v with_o hand_n as_o say_v the_o prophet_n heaven_n be_v my_o throne_n and_o earth_n be_v my_o footstool_n what_o house_n will_v you_o build_v i_o say_v the_o lord_n or_o what_o be_v the_o place_n of_o my_o rest_n have_v not_o my_o hand_n make_v all_o these_o thing_n act_n 7.48_o but_o stephen_n be_v full_a of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n look_v up_o steadfast_o into_o heaven_n and_o see_v the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o jesus_n stand_v on_o the_o right-hand_a of_o god_n which_o they_o that_o gnash_v with_o their_o tooth_n on_o he_o do_v not_o see_v for_o they_o do_v always_o resist_v the_o holy_a ghost_n as_o their_o father_n do_v and_o they_o stop_v their_o ear_n and_o run_v upon_o he_o with_o one_o accord_n as_o all_o the_o professor_n in_o christendom_n so_o call_v have_v do_v against_o the_o harmless_a people_n of_o god_n in_o this_o age_n such_o as_o resist_v that_o which_o be_v holy_a in_o themselves_o must_v needs_o resist_v and_o reproach_n and_o persecute_v they_o that_o be_v fill_v with_o it_o and_o bear_v of_o it_o and_o so_o the_o scripture_n be_v fulfil_v they_o hate_v i_o before_o they_o hate_v you_o john_n 15.18_o and_o so_o though_o man_n may_v be_v wise_a and_o zealous_a and_o learned_a and_o prudent_a and_o great_a and_o rich_a and_o mighty_a and_o be_v ruler_n and_o teacher_n etc._n etc._n yet_o if_o they_o resist_v the_o holy_a ghost_n or_o spirit_n of_o truth_n the_o mystery_n of_o god_n and_o of_o his_o kingdom_n be_v still_o hide_v from_o they_o though_o they_o profess_v and_o talk_v of_o they_o with_o their_o mouth_n and_o lip_n yet_o their_o foolish_a heart_n be_v still_o darken_a because_o they_o like_v not_o to_o retain_v god_n in_o their_o knowledge_n but_o like_a to_o retain_v only_o a_o kind_n of_o outside_n knowledge_n of_o those_o thing_n that_o his_o child_n do_v witness_v the_o life_n and_o power_n of_o within_o and_o so_o they_o be_v inward_o raven_v from_o that_o which_o only_o can_v give_v the_o true_a and_o save_a knowledge_n of_o god_n and_o of_o his_o glory_n 2_o cor._n 4.6_o and_o so_o from_o the_o wise_a and_o prudent_a of_o the_o world_n in_o that_o which_o be_v natural_a and_o visible_a god_n have_v hide_v and_o do_v hide_v the_o mystery_n of_o his_o heavenly_a kingdom_n and_o dominion_n but_o do_v reveal_v and_o show_v they_o plain_o to_o babe_n who_o he_o forbid_v to_o cast_v their_o pearl_n before_o swine_n such_o as_o feed_v upon_o the_o husk_n lest_o they_o trample_v they_o under_o their_o foot_n and_o turn_v again_o and_o rend_v they_o yet_o be_v we_o rend_v with_o divers_a and_o manifold_a reproach_n and_o persecution_n by_o such_o as_o pretend_v themselves_o the_o sheep_n of_o christ_n and_o people_n of_o god_n but_o by_o their_o fruit_n you_o shall_v know_v they_o and_o especial_o from_o the_o teacher_n of_o the_o letter_n of_o all_o sort_n do_v we_o meet_v with_o much_o opposition_n but_o
