which_o do_v not_o give_v grace_n and_o remission_n of_o sin_n but_o work_v wrath_n and_o bring_v sin_n to_o light_v touch_v the_o key_n and_o the_o power_n of_o the_o key_n there_o will_v be_v elsewhere_o a_o more_o fit_a place_n to_o speak_v and_o moreover_o it_o seem_v that_o here_o be_v a_o meet_a place_n for_o those_o thing_n which_o i_o have_v dispute_v of_o in_o the_o first_o sermon_n of_o this_o decade_n touch_v the_o power_n and_o ministry_n of_o the_o church_n again_o whereas_o the_o lord_n use_v in_o teach_v his_o church_n man_n help_n and_o we_o as_o labourer_n together_o in_o finish_v the_o salvation_n of_o mankind_n he_o show_v most_o evident_o how_o great_o he_o love_v we_o and_o how_o much_o he_o esteem_v of_o we_o who_o have_v lay_v up_o so_o great_a a_o treasure_n in_o earthen_a vessel_n and_o even_o in_o we_o ourselves_o work_v what_o so_o ever_o be_v most_o excellent_a and_o overcome_v all_o the_o high_a excellency_n of_o the_o world_n whereby_o we_o learn_v unto_o every_o church_n be_v one_o peculiar_a pastor_n appoint_v as_o a_o governor_n as_o it_o be_v some_o faithful_a householder_n govern_v and_o keep_v in_o order_n his_o whole_a family_n true_o it_o can_v not_o be_v deny_v that_o in_o time_n past_o that_o most_o exquisite_a order_n of_o the_o tabernacle_n and_o temple_n and_o the_o tribe_n of_o levy_v consecrate_v to_o the_o priesthood_n be_v to_o this_o end_n ordain_v of_o god_n which_o as_o soon_o as_o that_o ungodly_a king_n jeroboam_n through_o wicked_a presumption_n forsake_v he_o rend_v the_o kingdom_n in_o piece_n and_o at_o be_v to_o the_o set_v forth_o of_o his_o glory_n and_o profitable_a for_o the_o health_n of_o your_o soul_n law_n the_o use_n of_o god_n law_n be_v manifold_a and_o of_o sundry_a sort_n and_o yet_o it_o may_v be_v call_v back_o to_o three_o especial_a point_n and_o we_o may_v say_v that_o the_o use_v thereof_o be_v threefold_a or_o of_o three_o sort_n for_o first_o of_o all_o the_o chief_a and_o proper_a office_n of_o the_o law_n be_v to_o convince_v all_o man_n to_o be_v guilty_a of_o sin_n and_o by_o their_o own_o fault_n to_o be_v the_o child_n of_o death_n for_o the_o law_n of_o god_n set_v forth_o to_o we_o the_o holy_a will_n of_o god_n and_o in_o the_o set_n forth_o thereof_o require_v of_o we_o a_o most_o perfect_v and_o absolute_a kind_n of_o righteousness_n and_o for_o that_o cause_n the_o law_n be_v wont_a to_o be_v call_v the_o testimony_n of_o god_n will_v and_o the_o most_o perfect_a exampler_n of_o his_o divine_a pureness_n and_o hereunto_o belong_v those_o word_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o the_o gospel_n where_o he_o recite_v short_o the_o sum_n of_o god_n commandment_n do_v say_v the_o first_o of_o all_o the_o commandment_n be_v hear_v oh_o israel_n the_o lord_n or_o at_o this_o day_n have_v a_o pure_a heart_n within_o he_o what_o man_n have_v ever_o love_v or_o do_v now_o love_n god_n with_o all_o his_o heart_n with_o all_o his_o soul_n and_o with_o all_o his_o mind_n what_o man_n be_v he_o that_o do_v never_o lust_n after_o evil_n or_o who_o be_v it_o now_o y_fw-mi lust_v not_o every_o day_n therefore_o imperfection_n and_o sin_n be_v by_o the_o law_n and_o then_o the_o law_n of_o men._n the_o law_n of_o nature_n be_v a_o instruction_n nature_n of_o the_o conscience_n and_o as_o it_o be_v a_o certain_a direction_n place_v by_o god_n himself_o in_o the_o mind_n and_o heart_n of_o man_n to_o teach_v they_o what_o they_o have_v to_o do_v and_o what_o to_o eschew_v and_o the_o conscience_n very_o be_v the_o conscience_n knowledge_n judgement_n and_o reason_n of_o a_o man_n whereby_o every_o man_n in_o himself_o and_o in_o his_o own_o mind_n be_v make_v privy_a to_o every_o thing_n that_o he_o either_o have_v commit_v or_o not_o commit_v do_v either_o condemn_v or_o else_o acquit_v himself_o and_o this_o reason_n proceed_v from_o god_n who_o both_o prompt_v and_o write_v his_o judgement_n in_o the_o heart_n and_o mind_n of_o man_n moreover_o that_o which_o we_o call_v nature_n be_v the_o proper_a disposition_n or_o inclination_n nature_n of_o every_o thing_n but_o the_o disposition_n of_o mankind_n be_v flat_o corrupt_v by_o sin_n as_o it_o be_v blind_a so_o also_o be_v it_o in_o all_o point_n evil_a and_o naughty_a it_o know_v not_o god_n it_o worship_v not_o god_n neither_o do_v it_o love_v the_o neighbour_n but_o rather_o be_v affect_v with_o self_n love_n toward_o itself_o and_o seek_v still_o for_o the_o own_o advantage_n for_o which_o cause_n the_o apostle_n say_v that_o we_o by_o nature_n be_v the_o child_n of_o wrath_n wherefore_o the_o law_n of_o nature_n be_v not_o call_v the_o law_n of_o nature_n because_o in_o the_o nature_n &_o disposition_n of_o man_n there_o be_v of_o or_o by_o itself_o that_o reason_n of_o light_n exhort_v to_o the_o best_a thing_n and_o that_o holy_a work_n but_o for_o because_o god_n have_v imprint_v or_o engrave_v in_o our_o mind_n some_o knowledge_n and_o certain_a general_a principle_n of_o religion_n justice_n and_o goodness_n which_o because_o they_o be_v graft_v in_o we_o and_o bear_v together_o with_o we_o do_v therefore_o seem_v to_o be_v natural_o in_o us._n let_v we_o hear_v the_o apostle_n paul_n who_o bear_v witness_n to_o this_o &_o say_v when_o the_o gentile_n which_o have_v not_o the_o law_n do_v of_o nature_n the_o thing_n contain_v in_o the_o law_n they_o have_v not_o the_o law_n be_v a_o law_n unto_o themselves_o which_o show_v the_o work_n of_o the_o law_n write_v in_o their_o heart_n their_o conscience_n bear_v they_o witness_n and_o their_o thought_n accuse_v one_o another_o or_o excuse_v in_o that_o same_o day_n when_o the_o lord_n shall_v judge_v the_o secret_n of_o man_n by_o jesus_n christ_n according_a to_o my_o gospel_n by_o two_o argument_n here_o do_v the_o apostle_n very_o evident_o prove_v that_o the_o gentile_n be_v sinner_n for_o first_o of_o all_o lest_o peradventure_o they_o may_v make_v this_o excuse_n and_o say_v that_o they_o have_v no_o law_n he_o show_v that_o they_o have_v a_o law_n and_o that_o because_o they_o transgress_v this_o law_n they_o be_v become_v sinner_n for_o although_o they_o have_v not_o the_o write_a law_n of_o moses_n yet_o notwithstanding_o they_o do_v by_o nature_n the_o thing_n contain_v in_o the_o law_n the_o office_n of_o the_o law_n be_v to_o disclose_v the_o will_n of_o god_n and_o to_o teach_v thou_o what_o thou_o haste_v to_o do_v and_o what_o to_o leave_v undo_v this_o have_v they_o by_o nature_n that_o be_v this_o know_v they_o by_o the_o law_n of_o nature_n for_o that_o which_o follow_v make_v this_o more_o plain_a they_o when_o they_o have_v no_o law_n be_v to_o themselves_o a_o law_n that_o be_v they_o have_v in_o then selue_o that_o which_o be_v write_v in_o the_o law_n but_o in_o what_o sort_n have_v they_o it_o in_o themselves_o this_o again_o be_v maâ—e_n manifest_a by_o that_o which_o follow_v for_o they_o
show_v the_o work_n of_o the_o law_n write_v in_o their_o heart_n but_o who_o be_v he_o that_o write_v in_o their_o heart_n but_o god_n alone_o who_o be_v the_o searcher_n of_o all_o heart_n and_o what_o i_o pray_v you_o write_v he_o there_o the_o law_n of_o nature_n forsooth_o the_o law_n i_o say_v itself_o command_v good_a and_o forbid_a evil_n so_o that_o without_o the_o write_a law_n by_o the_o instruction_n of_o nature_n that_o be_v by_o the_o knowledge_n imprint_v of_o god_n in_o nature_n they_o may_v understand_v what_o be_v good_a and_o what_o be_v evil_a what_o be_v to_o be_v desire_v and_o what_o be_v to_o be_v shun_v by_o these_o word_n of_o the_o apostle_n we_o do_v understand_v that_o the_o law_n of_o nature_n be_v set_v against_o the_o write_a law_n of_o god_n and_o that_o therefore_o it_o be_v call_v the_o law_n of_o nature_n because_o it_o seem_v to_o be_v as_o it_o be_v place_v or_o graft_v in_o nature_n we_o understand_v that_o the_o law_n of_o nature_n not_o the_o write_a law_n but_o that_o which_o be_v graft_v in_o man_n have_v the_o same_o office_n that_o the_o write_a law_n have_v i_o mean_v to_o direct_v man_n and_o to_o teach_v they_o and_o also_o to_o discern_v betwixt_o good_a and_o evil_a and_o to_o be_v able_a to_o judge_v of_o sin_n we_o understand_v that_o the_o begin_n of_o this_o law_n be_v not_o of_o the_o corrupt_a disposition_n of_o mankind_n but_o of_o god_n himself_o who_o with_o his_o finger_n write_v in_o our_o heart_n fasten_v in_o our_o nature_n and_o plant_v in_o we_o a_o rule_n to_o know_v justice_n equity_n and_o goodness_n then_o also_o the_o apostle_n make_v his_o second_o argument_n whereby_o he_o prove_v the_o gentile_n to_o be_v guilty_a of_o sin_n and_o this_o argument_n he_o fetch_v from_o the_o witness_n bear_v of_o their_o conscience_n for_o the_o conscience_n be_v instruct_v by_o the_o law_n of_o nature_n do_v accuse_v and_o condemn_v the_o evil_n commit_v because_o this_o conscience_n only_o and_o alone_o be_v in_o steed_n of_o a_o thousand_o witness_n and_o again_o it_o excuse_v that_o be_v it_o absolve_v and_o acquit_v they_o if_o nothing_o be_v commit_v contrary_a to_o the_o law_n but_o although_o in_o this_o present_a life_n we_o do_v set_v light_v by_o the_o judgement_n of_o our_o conscience_n yet_o very_o we_o may_v not_o they_o despise_v or_o light_o pass_v over_o the_o conscience_n accusation_n when_o the_o lord_n shall_v come_v with_o justice_n and_o equity_n to_o judge_v the_o world_n so_o then_o by_o all_o this_o it_o follow_v that_o all_o nation_n be_v sinner_n who_o unless_o the_o son_n of_o god_n the_o common_a and_o only_a saviour_n and_o deliverer_n of_o all_o the_o world_n do_v cleanse_v from_o their_o offence_n it_o can_v not_o be_v but_o that_o all_o nation_n must_v needs_o perish_v in_o their_o sin_n but_o now_o we_o come_v again_o to_o the_o nature_n law_n of_o nature_n of_o which_o there_o be_v two_o point_n especial_o for_o you_o to_o be_v put_v in_o mind_n of_o the_o first_o be_v acknowledge_v god_n and_o worship_n he_o the_o second_o be_v keep_v or_o maintain_v society_n &_o friendship_n among_o man_n touch_v the_o first_o we_o have_v these_o word_n of_o christ_n his_o apostle_n whatsoever_o may_v be_v know_v of_o god_n be_v manifest_a among_o they_o to_o wit_n among_o the_o gentile_n for_o god_n have_v show_v it_o to_o they_o for_o his_o invisible_a thing_n be_v understand_v by_o his_o work_n through_o the_o creation_n of_o the_o world_n be_v see_v that_o be_v both_o his_o eternal_a power_n and_o godhead_n so_o that_o they_o be_v without_o excuse_n because_o that_o when_o they_o know_v god_n notwithstanding_o they_o glorify_v he_o not_o as_o god_n neither_o be_v thankful_a etc_n etc_n so_o then_o the_o gentile_n know_v god_n yea_o they_o know_v what_o so_o ever_o may_v god._n be_v know_v of_o god_n but_o what_o teacher_n have_v they_o or_o what_o master_n they_o have_v god_n to_o their_o master_n in_o what_o order_n teach_v he_o they_o or_o out_o of_o what_o book_n not_o out_o of_o the_o write_a book_n of_o moses_n or_o the_o prophet_n but_o out_o of_o that_o great_a and_o large_a book_n of_o nature_n for_o the_o thing_n that_o be_v not_o see_v of_o god_n in_o which_o sort_n be_v his_o everlasting_a eternity_n his_o virtue_n power_n majesty_n goodness_n and_o godhead_n those_o he_o will_v have_v to_o be_v esteem_v of_o according_a to_o the_o visible_a thing_n that_o be_v the_o thing_n which_o he_o have_v create_v for_o god_n eternal_a godhead_n be_v know_v by_o man_n creation_n by_o the_o continual_a move_n of_o heaven_n and_o the_o perpetual_a course_n of_o river_n for_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v that_o he_o be_v most_o mighty_a which_o sustain_v all_o these_o thing_n which_o move_v strengthen_v and_o keep_v all_o thing_n from_o decay_n and_o which_o with_o his_o beck_n shake_v the_o whole_a world_n final_o who_o do_v not_o see_v the_o goodness_n of_o he_o which_o suffer_v the_o sun_n to_o rise_v upon_o the_o good_a and_o the_o evil_a but_o to_o what_o intent_n reveal_v he_o these_o thing_n to_o the_o gentile_n to_o the_o intent_n forsooth_o that_o they_o may_v acknowledge_v he_o to_o be_v god_n that_o they_o may_v glorify_v and_o worship_v he_o as_o god_n and_o be_v thankful_a to_o such_o a_o benefactor_n when_o therefore_o they_o do_v not_o this_o they_o be_v inexcusable_a and_o perish_v deserve_o for_o their_o unbelief_n and_o unthankfulness_n sake_n so_o than_o it_o be_v manifest_a that_o the_o law_n of_o nature_n do_v express_o teach_v that_o there_o be_v a_o god_n which_o be_v to_o be_v acknowledge_v and_o reverent_o worship_v touch_v the_o latter_a of_o these_o two_o especial_a point_n that_o be_v for_o the_o preserve_n preserve_v of_o friendship_n and_o society_n among_o man_n the_o lord_n in_o the_o gospel_n say_v what_o so_o ever_o you_o will_v that_o man_n shall_v do_v to_o you_o do_v you_o the_o same_o to_o they_o this_o sentence_n do_v alexander_n severus_n the_o emperor_n turn_v and_o express_v thus_o what_o soever_o thou_o will_v not_o have_v do_v to_o thou_o self_n that_o do_v not_o thou_o to_o another_o which_o say_v he_o love_v so_o well_o that_o he_o command_v it_o to_o be_v write_v up_o in_o his_o palace_n and_o common_a house_n of_o office_n moreover_o to_o that_o general_a law_n belong_v these_o that_o follow_v live_v honest_o hurt_v not_o another_o give_v every_o man_n his_o own_o provide_v thing_n necessary_a for_o life_n and_o keep_v it_o from_o distress_n but_o now_o because_o the_o law_n of_o law_n nature_n be_v make_v opposite_a to_o the_o write_a law_n of_o god_n it_o be_v requisite_a that_o it_o be_v answerable_a also_o to_o the_o law_n of_o god_n let_v we_o therefore_o see_v what_o the_o wise_a man_n and_o law_n giver_n of_o the_o gentile_n have_v leave_v in_o writing_n to_o countervail_v the_o ten_o commandment_n and_o how_o far_o their_o write_n be_v answerable_a to_o the_o law_n of_o god._n pythagoras_n in_o s._n cyrils_n first_o book_n contra_fw-la julianum_fw-la write_v thus_o of_o god_n god_n very_o be_v one_o and_o he_o too_o be_v not_o god._n as_o some_o do_v imagine_v without_o the_o government_n of_o the_o world_n but_o be_v whole_o in_o every_o place_n of_o it_o do_v view_v all_o the_o generation_n in_o the_o whole_a compass_n thereof_o and_o be_v himself_o the_o moderation_n of_o all_o age_n the_o light_n of_o his_o own_o virtue_n the_o beginning_n of_o all_o work_n the_o light_n in_o heaven_n the_o father_n of_o all_o thing_n the_o life_n and_o quicken_n of_o all_o thing_n and_o last_o the_o move_a of_o all_o the_o circle_n see_v here_o pythagoras_n confess_v that_o there_o be_v but_o one_o god_n who_o be_v the_o maker_n preserver_n and_o governor_n of_o all_o thing_n the_o father_n of_o all_o and_o the_o light_n and_o life_n of_o all_o thing_n zaleucus_n in_o the_o preface_n of_o his_o law_n write_v as_o follow_v it_o be_v necessary_a that_o all_o man_n which_o inhabit_v any_o city_n or_o region_n what_o soever_o be_v thorough_o persuade_v that_o there_o be_v god_n which_o be_v evident_a to_o be_v see_v by_o the_o contemplation_n of_o heaven_n and_o all_o the_o world_n and_o by_o the_o goodly_a disposition_n and_o order_n of_o that_o that_o be_v therein_o for_o it_o be_v not_o convenient_a to_o think_v that_o these_o be_v the_o work_n of_o fortune_n or_o man_n ability_n then_o also_o the_o god_n must_v be_v worship_v and_o honour_v as_o they_o that_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o all_o good_a thing_n that_o be_v do_v to_o we_o by_o any_o manner_n of_o mean_n every_o one_o therefore_o must_v do_v his_o best_a to_o have_v his_o mind_n pure_o cleanse_v from_o all_o evil_a for_o god_n be_v not_o honour_v of_o a_o
they_o shall_v all_o know_v i_o from_o the_o little_a unto_o the_o great_a but_o of_o the_o law_n it_o be_v write_v that_o it_o be_v grave_v in_o table_n of_o stone_n yet_o for_o all_o this_o let_v no_o man_n think_v that_o the_o father_n obtain_v no_o remission_n of_o their_o sin_n for_o as_o they_o by_o faith_n have_v free_a forgiveness_n of_o their_o sin_n so_o do_v god_n both_o write_v his_o the_o gospel_n simple_o make_v perfect_a and_o do_v direct_o without_o any_o stop_n lead_v we_o to_o christ_n and_o cause_v we_o to_o rest_v and_o to_o content_v ourselves_o in_o he_o alone_o last_o of_o all_o i_o will_v not_o slip_v over_o this_o difference_n although_o it_o be_v of_o little_a 〈…〉_o weight_n and_o such_o a_o one_o as_o other_o like_a unto_o it_o may_v be_v easy_o observe_v that_o the_o law_n appoint_v out_o a_o certain_a land_n peculiar_o separate_v from_o other_o nation_n do_v promise_n to_o the_o old_a father_n the_o possession_n of_o the_o same_o so_o long_o as_o they_o do_v keep_v the_o law_n but_o if_o they_o do_v transgress_v the_o law_n than_o do_v it_o threaten_v that_o they_o shall_v be_v root_v up_o and_o utter_o cast_v out_o of_o that_o good_a land_n but_o to_o we_o not_o one_o limit_a land_n be_v express_o promise_v for_o the_o earth_n be_v the_o lord_n and_o the_o fullness_n thereof_o the_o round_a world_n and_o all_o that_o therein_o be_v but_o although_o he_o do_v not_o here_o assign_v to_o we_o as_o he_o do_v to_o our_o forefather_n of_o old_a any_o certain_a or_o peculiar_a thing_n yet_o do_v he_o not_o at_o any_o time_n neglect_v we_o for_o he_o feed_v bless_v and_o preserve_v we_o in_o every_o land_n and_o nation_n therefore_o the_o promise_n which_o be_v of_o old_a make_v to_o our_o forefather_n concern_v the_o land_n of_o promise_n be_v come_v to_o a_o end_n be_v utter_o vanish_v away_o so_o that_o they_o which_o for_o a_o age_n or_o two_o ago_o do_v incite_v many_o nation_n to_o arm_v themselves_o for_o the_o recovery_n of_o the_o holy_a land_n do_v seem_v to_o have_v be_v beside_o their_o wit_n christ_n by_o his_o come_n into_o the_o world_n have_v sanctify_v all_o the_o earth_n for_o there_o be_v in_o every_o nation_n of_o the_o world_n some_o son_n and_o heir_n of_o god_n and_o his_o kingdom_n touch_v the_o likeness_n and_o agreement_n the_o unlikeness_n and_o difference_n of_o both_o i_o mean_v the_o old_a and_o new_a testament_n or_o people_n i_o have_v therefore_o speak_v the_o more_o brief_o because_o i_o have_v in_o the_o first_o sermon_n of_o the_o first_o decade_n and_o in_o the_o six_o sermon_n of_o this_o three_o decade_n already_o handle_v the_o self_n same_o matter_n final_o i_o have_v but_o short_o touch_v the_o abrogation_n of_o the_o law_n because_o i_o do_v a_o good_a while_n ago_o set_v forth_o two_o treatise_n y_fw-fr one_o of_o the_o ancient_a faith_n the_o other_o of_o the_o only_a and_o eternal_a covenant_n of_o god_n which_o treatise_n i_o know_v to_o be_v familiar_a among_o you_o i_o will_v not_o here_o in_o the_o conclusion_n recapitulate_v unto_o you_o in_o special_a point_n of_o this_o sermon_n partly_o because_o i_o have_v already_o be_v somewhat_o to_o long_o and_o partly_o because_o i_o have_v as_o i_o hope_v use_v so_o plain_a a_o order_n that_o every_o point_n be_v indifferent_o well_o settle_v in_o every_o man_n memory_n thus_o have_v i_o point_n of_o holy_a doctrine_n the_o thing_n that_o shall_v sound_v against_o his_o holy_a will._n upon_o the_o abrogation_n of_o the_o law_n do_v christian_a liberty_n depend_v and_o liberty_n follow_v as_o the_o effect_n of_o the_o abrogate_a of_o the_o law_n which_o liberty_n do_v minister_v we_o occasion_n to_o speak_v of_o offence_n now_o concern_v christian_a liberty_n the_o most_o holy_a apostle_n of_o christ_n saint_n paul_n have_v reason_v very_o diligent_o and_o large_o whereby_o we_o may_v gather_v that_o the_o consideration_n of_o christian_a liberty_n be_v neither_o of_o no_o weight_n nor_o yet_o of_o little_a profit_n but_o the_o treatise_n thereof_o be_v especial_o necessary_a to_o we_o of_o this_o age_n among_o who_o there_o be_v no_o small_a number_n of_o man_n which_o do_v either_o not_o understand_v what_o christian_a liberty_n be_v or_o else_o if_o they_o know_v it_o do_v foul_o abuse_v it_o thereby_o to_o fulfil_v the_o lust_n of_o the_o flesh_n i_o say_v whosoever_o confess_v 4._o that_o jesus_n be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n in_o he_o dwell_v god_n and_o he_o in_o god_o also_o paul_n that_o elect_a vessel_n and_o doctor_n of_o the_o gentile_n in_o baptism_n but_o that_o there_o be_v seal_v and_o confirm_v which_o they_o have_v before_o let_v we_o also_o join_v unto_o these_o thing_n a_o testimony_n of_o the_o supper_n of_o the_o lord_n the_o apostle_n teach_v how_o the_o godly_a shall_v prepare_v themselves_o to_o come_v to_o the_o lord_n table_n say_v let_v a_o man_n prove_v himself_o and_o so_o 11._o let_v he_o eat_v of_o this_o bread_n and_o drink_v of_o this_o cup_n but_o to_o examine_v or_o prove_v signify_v to_o search_v as_o much_o as_o lie_v in_o man_n the_o heart_n or_o mind_n and_o thoroughe_o diligent_a inquisition_n to_o sift_v one_o conscience_n and_o god_o be_v say_v â—o_o prove_v our_o narte_n and_o the_o same_o apostle_n will_v we_o to_o prove_v what_o be_v the_o good_a &_o acceptable_a will_n of_o god._n confer_v grace_n they_o object_n i_o know_v well_o enough_o lie_n against_o these_o thing_n who_o be_v persuade_v that_o sacrament_n give_v grace_n and_o contain_v include_v within_o they_o the_o thing_n signify_v that_o we_o do_v evacuate_v and_o make_v of_o none_o effect_v the_o sacrament_n and_o that_o we_o teach_v that_o the_o faithful_a receive_v in_o they_o or_o by_o they_o nothing_o but_o bare_a water_n and_o bare_a bread_n and_o wine_n and_o that_o by_o that_o mean_v god_o by_o we_o be_v accuse_v of_o falsehood_n and_o lie_v we_o brief_o answer_v if_o they_o set_v void_a or_o empty_a thing_n as_o i_o may_v so_o say_v against_o full_a thing_n so_o as_o they_o be_v void_a or_o empty_a which_o have_v not_o the_o thing_n themselves_o include_v in_o they_o true_o i_o have_v rather_o confess_v they_o to_o be_v void_a than_o full_a but_o if_o they_o call_v they_o void_a or_o empty_a and_o mean_v profane_a or_o unholy_a thing_n that_o be_v to_o say_v which_o differ_v nothing_o from_o profane_a sign_n if_o by_o bare_a they_o understand_v thing_n of_o no_o force_n we_o open_o profess_v that_o we_o have_v sacrament_n which_o be_v holy_a and_o not_o profane_a effectual_a and_o not_o without_o force_n
