growth_n and_o strength_n we_o can_v perform_v those_o great_a duty_n that_o god_n require_v at_o our_o hand_n of_o thankfulness_n nor_o do_v thing_n so_o cheerful_o and_o sweet_o as_o may_v be_v comfortable_a to_o we_o in_o sum_n without_o growth_n we_o can_v do_v nothing_o acceptable_o either_o to_o god_n or_o his_o people_n the_o more_o grace_n the_o more_o acceptance_n which_o be_v speak_v that_o we_o may_v value_v the_o promise_n this_o especial_o that_o we_o shall_v grow_v up_o in_o grace_n and_o knowledge_n as_o the_o lily_n and_o cast_v forth_o our_o root_n as_o lebanon_n but_o how_o shall_v we_o come_v to_o grow_v answ_n go_v to_o god_n that_o we_o may_v continual_o have_v from_o he_o the_o sanctify_a dew_n of_o his_o grace_n go_v first_o for_o pardon_n of_o sin_n order_n of_o we_o in_o he_o that_o we_o may_v find_v a_o sense_n of_o his_o love_n in_o accept_v of_o our_o person_n in_o the_o pardon_v of_o our_o sin_n which_o be_v the_o ground_n of_o love_n for_o then_o this_o sense_n of_o his_o love_n will_v kindle_v our_o love_n towards_o he_o again_o feel_v that_o we_o be_v in_o the_o state_n of_o grace_n then_o go_v to_o god_n for_o his_o promise_n in_o this_o order_n lord_n thou_o have_v promise_v that_o thou_o will_v be_v as_o the_o dew_n and_o that_o we_o shall_v grow_v as_o lily_n make_v good_a thy_o promise_n then_o that_o i_o may_v find_v the_o effectual_a power_n of_o it_o transform_v my_o soul_n into_o the_o bless_a image_n of_o thy_o dear_a son_n and_o know_v growth_n 2._o we_o must_v use_v all_o mean_n of_o growth_n that_o we_o must_v carry_v with_o the_o heat_n of_o nature_n it_o make_v a_o great_a show_n be_v help_v by_o nature_n the_o demonstration_n but_o not_o the_o truth_n of_o grace_n be_v thus_o help_v therefore_o this_o clause_n of_o the_o promise_n be_v make_v good_a in_o old_a christian_n they_o be_v every_o day_n more_o and_o more_o root_v firm_a stable_a and_o judicious_a and_o more_o able_a in_o those_o grace_n which_o belong_v to_o their_o place_n and_o condition_n therefore_o they_o shall_v not_o be_v discourage_v though_o they_o be_v not_o carry_v with_o the_o stream_n and_o tide_n of_o nature_n help_v to_o grow_v what_o they_o can_v in_o grace_n when_o if_o they_o grow_v not_o so_o fast_o as_o other_o let_v they_o know_v that_o there_o be_v several_a age_n in_o christ_n a_o young_a christian_n be_v a_o comprise_v of_o all_o the_o excellency_n of_o the_o world_n in_o man_n for_o he_o have_v a_o be_v with_o those_o creature_n who_o have_v only_o that_o and_o therewith_o he_o have_v grow_v sense_n and_o reason_n whereby_o he_o have_v communion_n with_o god_n and_o those_o understand_a spirit_n the_o angel_n so_o that_o he_o be_v as_o it_o be_v a_o sum_n of_o all_o the_o excellency_n of_o the_o creature_n a_o little_a world_n indeed_o the_o great_a world_n have_v nothing_o but_o the_o little_a world_n have_v the_o same_o in_o some_o proportion_n so_o it_o be_v in_o grace_n a_o prudence_n as_o will_v bring_v he_o to_o heaven_n but_o god_n give_v extraordinary_a wisdom_n to_o some_o because_o they_o be_v leader_n of_o other_o yet_o though_o in_o god_n dispensation_n there_o be_v a_o difference_n yet_o in_o every_o christian_a they_o be_v join_v together_o there_o be_v no_o christian_a but_o he_o be_v wise_a for_o himself_o which_o be_v prudence_n this_o be_v as_o it_o
