himself_o in_o the_o convert_n and_o save_v of_o a_o sinner_n and_o howsoever_o this_o sense_n may_v stand_v well_o with_o the_o construction_n of_o the_o greek_a text_n yet_o it_o do_v not_o well_o agree_v to_o the_o scope_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n for_o the_o scope_n be_v not_o to_o show_v by_o what_o we_o be_v call_v but_o unto_o what_o we_o be_v call_v so_o that_o i_o embrace_v this_o read_n who_o have_v call_v we_o to_o glory_n and_o virtue_n and_o if_o any_o shall_v object_v that_o the_o word_n in_o the_o original_n signify_v by_o glory_n and_o virtue_n i_o answer_v the_o word_n original_a may_v signify_v by_o or_o to_o as_o the_o same_o word_n be_v use_v in_o rom._n 6.4_o where_o it_o be_v say_v that_o christ_n be_v raise_v from_o the_o dead_a by_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o father_n or_o as_o it_o may_v be_v better_o render_v to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n the_o father_n which_o have_v call_v we_o unto_o glory_n and_o virtue_n where_o from_o the_o conjunction_n of_o these_o two_o together_o we_o may_v observe_v doctrine_n doctrine_n that_o glory_n and_o virtue_n be_v twin_n which_o go_v together_o the_o one_o can_v be_v have_v without_o the_o other_o he_o that_o will_v attain_v glory_n must_v have_v virtue_n and_o he_o that_o have_v attain_v true_a virtue_n he_o shall_v be_v sure_a to_o obtain_v glory_n for_o the_o proof_n hereof_o i_o refer_v you_o to_o that_o in_o psalm_n 84.11_o for_o the_o lord_n god_n be_v a_o sun_n and_o shield_n the_o lord_n will_v give_v grace_n and_o glory_n where_o note_n that_o the_o lord_n give_v not_o grace_n without_o glory_n nor_o glory_n without_o grace_n but_o unto_o who_o he_o impart_v the_o one_o to_o they_o also_o he_o give_v the_o other_o the_o like_a we_o read_v in_o act_n 28.32_o and_o now_o brethren_n i_o commend_v you_o to_o god_n and_o to_o the_o word_n of_o his_o grace_n which_o be_v able_a to_o build_v you_o up_o and_o to_o give_v you_o a_o inheritance_n among_o all_o they_o which_o be_v sanctify_v
