of_o god_n three_o when_o a_o man_n do_v thing_n in_o a_o right_a manner_n but_o fail_v in_o the_o measure_n thereof_o and_o thus_o the_o child_n of_o god_n do_v sin_n in_o all_o the_o duty_n of_o the_o law_n for_o they_o do_v the_o good_a thing_n the_o law_n command_v in_o love_a god_n &_o their_o neighbour_n but_o they_o can_v attain_v to_o that_o measure_n of_o love_n which_o the_o law_n require_v and_o thus_o the_o best_a man_n live_v do_v sin_n in_o every_o good_a work_n they_o do_v so_o as_o if_o god_n shall_v enter_v into_o judgement_n deal_v with_o they_o in_o the_o rigour_n of_o his_o justice_n &_o examine_v they_o by_o the_o strict_a rule_n of_o the_o law_n he_o may_v just_o condemn_v they_o even_o for_o their_o best_a action_n and_o in_o this_o regard_n when_o we_o pray_v daily_o for_o the_o pardon_n of_o our_o sin_n the_o best_a work_n we_o do_v must_v come_v in_o the_o number_n of_o they_o because_o we_o fail_v if_o not_o in_o substance_n &_o manner_n yet_o at_o the_o least_o in_o the_o measure_n of_o goodness_n that_o aught_o to_o be_v in_o the_o do_n of_o they_o we_o must_v also_o have_v care_n to_o repent_v we_o even_o of_o these_o our_o sin_n of_o omission_n as_o well_o as_o of_o the_o other_o of_o commission_n because_o by_o leave_v undo_v our_o duty_n we_o do_v often_o offend_v then_o by_o sin_n commit_v and_o the_o least_o omission_n be_v enough_o to_o condemn_v we_o if_o it_o shall_v be_v exact_v at_o our_o hand_n sect._n 5._o the_o next_o difference_n of_o sin_n may_v be_v this_o some_o be_v cry_v sin_n some_o be_v sin_n of_o toleration_n cry_v sin_n i_o call_v those_o which_o be_v so_o heinous_a &_o in_o their_o kind_n so_o grievous_a that_o they_o hasten_v god_n judgement_n and_o call_v down_o for_o 〈◊〉_d speedy_a vengeance_n upon_o the_o sinner_n of_o this_o kind_n there_o be_v sundry_a example_n in_o the_o scripture_n principal_o four_o first_o cain_n sin_n in_o murder_v his_o innocent_a brother_n abel_n be_v commit_v three_o they_o call_v for_o present_a help_n to_o the_o afflict_a and_o wrong_v and_o consequent_o for_o speedy_a execution_n of_o vengeance_n upon_o the_o author_n and_o committer_n of_o they_o and_o last_o because_o god_n be_v wont_a to_o give_v ●are_a unto_o the_o cry_n of_o those_o that_o endure_v 〈◊〉_d so_o heavy_a measure_n at_o the_o hand_n of_o other_o and_o according_o to_o help_v they_o and_o reward_v the_o other_o with_o deserve_a punishment_n next_o unto_o these_o be_v sin_n of_o toleration_n lesser_a than_o the_o former_a which_o though_o in_o themselves_o they_o deserve_v death_n yet_o god_n in_o his_o mercy_n show_v his_o patience_n &_o long_a sufferance_n upon_o the_o committer_n thereof_o either_o defer_v the_o temporal_a punishment_n or_o pardon_v both_o temporal_a and_o eternal_a to_o his_o elect._n such_o a_o sin_n be_v the_o ignorance_n of_o the_o gentile_n before_o christ_n come_n which_o god_n defer_v to_o punish_v and_o as_o we_o say_v 〈◊〉_d wink_v at_o 30._o it_o more_o especial_o there_o be_v three_o sort_n of_o sin_n of_o toleration_n the_o first_o be_v original_a sin_n or_o concupiscence_n in_o the_o regenerate_a after_o regeneration_n and_o the_o fruit_n thereof_o for_o it_o be_v not_o quite_o abolish_v by_o regeneration_n but_o remain_v more_o or_o less_o molest_v &_o tempt_v a_o man_n till_o death_n and_o yet_o if_o we_o carry_v a_o constant_a purpose_n not_o to_o sin_n and_o endeavour_v ourselves_o to_o resist_v all_o tentation_n this_o concupiscence_n of_o we_o shall_v not_o be_v impute_v unto_o we_o nor_o we_o condemn_v for_o it_o and_o to_o this_o purpose_n the_o holy_a apostle_n say_v there_o be_v no_o condemnation_n to_o they_o that_o be_v in_o christ._n yet_o say_v 〈◊〉_d he_o not_o there_o be_v nothing_o worthy_a condemnation_n in_o they_o for_o original_a sin_n remain_v till_o death_n true_o deserve_v damnation_n though_o it_o be_v not_o impute_v the_o second_o kind_n of_o sin_n of_o of_o god_n shall_v examine_v his_o heart_n and_o humble_v himself_o even_o for_o all_o his_o particular_a sin_n which_o he_o know_v by_o himself_o there_o shall_v yet_o remain_v some_o unknown_a sin_n of_o which_o he_o can_v have_v a_o particular_a repentance_n and_o yet_o they_o be_v not_o impute_v when_o there_o be_v repentance_n for_o know_a sin_n as_o for_o example_n david_n repent_v of_o his_o murder_n &_o adultery_n and_o yet_o afterward_o err_v in_o judgement_n by_o reason_n of_o the_o corruption_n of_o the_o time_n he_o live_v to_o his_o death_n in_o the_o sin_n of_o polygamy_n without_o any_o particular_a repentance_n that_o we_o hear_v of_o in_o like_a manner_n do_v the_o patriarch_n who_o may_v not_o altogether_o be_v excuse_v yet_o they_o be_v not_o condemn_v thereof_o neither_o be_v they_o save_v without_o repentance_n for_o
