of_o god_n elect_v from_o it_o be_v that_o say_n of_o saint_n john_n to_o be_v understand_v whosoever_o be_v bear_v of_o god_n sin_v not_o for_o 9_o his_o seed_n remain_v in_o he_o neither_o can_v against_o the_o holy-ghost_n and_o therefore_o not_o unpardonable_a yet_o see_v i_o have_v sin_v notorious_o not_o in_o time_n of_o ignorance_n but_o in_o time_n of_o knowledge_n when_o i_o be_v consider_v what_o be_v fit_a to_o be_v do_v nor_o forcible_o lead_v captive_a by_o a_o strong_a temptation_n whereto_o my_o weakness_n be_v not_o able_a to_o make_v resistance_n but_o i_o do_v run_v upon_o it_o wilful_o wild_o furious_o strive_v to_o delight_v myself_o with_o the_o pleasure_n of_o sin_n &_o to_o enrich_v myself_o with_o the_o wage_n of_o iniquity_n even_o with_o contempt_n of_o it_o be_v not_o that_o blasphemy_n against_o the_o holy-ghost_n yet_o it_o come_v very_o near_o unto_o it_o and_o so_o near_o that_o i_o fear_v the_o angry_a eye_n of_o heaven_n will_v see_v no_o difference_n betwixt_o they_o &_o then_o where_o be_o i_o with_o this_o possibility_n second_o punishable_a though_o that_o blasphemy_n be_v only_o unpatdonable_a yet_o i_o be_o sure_a it_o be_v not_o the_o sin_n only_o unpardoned_a it_o be_v not_o the_o sin_n that_o be_v only_o punishable_a and_o that_o shall_v only_o be_v punish_v my_o sin_n be_v also_o punishable_a and_o may_v be_v punish_v for_o so_o it_o deserve_v and_o then_o what_o be_o i_o better_a to_o hear_v it_o be_v pardonable_a when_o i_o perish_v in_o it_o last_o i_o know_v that_o less_o sin_n punish_v than_o i_o and_o more_o easy_a to_o be_v excuse_v be_v punish_v in_o hell_n with_o everlasting_a death_n what_o then_o must_v i_o look_v for_o but_o the_o flame_n of_o unquenchable_a fire_n and_o have_v i_o not_o already_o by_o my_o abominable_a sin_n kindle_v that_o fire_n even_o the_o fire_n of_o god_n fierce_a wrath_n against_o i_o which_o have_v already_o begin_v to_o torment_v and_o waste_v my_o conscience_n this_o objection_n consist_v of_o three_o objection_n branch_n the_o first_o be_v this_o that_o his_o wilful_a sin_n come_v so_o near_o to_o the_o height_n of_o that_o unpardonable_a sin_n that_o the_o angry_a eye_n of_o heaven_n he_o fear_v can_v and_o will_v see_v no_o difference_n between_o they_o this_o will_v easy_o be_v answer_v and_o to_o begin_v our_o answer_n i_o must_v entreat_v this_o afflict_a sinner_n to_o remember_v that_o it_o have_v be_v already_o declare_v that_o his_o sin_n though_o grievous_a yet_o be_v pardonable_a and_o let_v he_o to_o this_o purpose_n again_o hear_v the_o word_n of_o our_o saviour_n jesus_n all_o sin_n shall_v be_v forgive_v unto_o 28._o the_o child_n of_o man_n and_o blasphemy_n wherewith_o they_o blaspheme_v and_o how_o near_o soever_o his_o sin_n come_v to_o the_o unpardonable_a sin_n yet_o not_o be_v it_o it_o remain_v pardonable_a and_o this_o ground_n of_o truth_n can_v never_o be_v overthrow_v and_o the_o anger_n of_o heaven_n be_v sinner_n and_o execute_v vengeance_n upon_o contemner_n according_a to_o the_o rule_n of_o his_o own_o word_n where_o with_o he_o have_v make_v we_o aforehand_o acquaint_v and_o according_a to_o the_o merit_n of_o man_n work_n against_o which_o their_o own_o conscience_n justify_v god_n
hope_v for_o the_o same_o mercy_n for_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o thy_o sin_n which_o be_v free_o grant_v to_o peter_n for_o the_o forgiveness_n of_o his_o sin_n go_v forth_o therefore_o with_o peter_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o thy_o sin_n pour_v out_o the_o tear_n of_o repentance_n before_o god_n as_o peter_n do_v and_o he_o that_o receive_v peter_n to_o grace_n will_v also_o receive_v thou_o he_o in_o very_o dangerous_o but_o yet_o by_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n there_o be_v good_a and_o sure_a mean_n by_o which_o to_o escape_v even_o out_o of_o this_o straight_a though_o with_o some_o difficulty_n for_o here_o have_v that_o say_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n place_n that_o servant_n that_o know_v his_o 47._o master_n will_n and_o prepare_v not_o himself_o neither_o do_v according_a to_o his_o will_n shall_v be_v beat_v with_o many_o stripe_n many_o and_o sore_a gripe_n shall_v his_o conscience_n feel_v before_o he_o recover_v his_o peace_n against_o this_o accusation_n &_o it_o will_v cost_v he_o many_o tear_n sigh_n and_o groan_n which_o i_o do_v the_o rather_o remember_v to_o make_v man_n fear_v to_o offend_v in_o this_o manner_n and_o to_o suffer_v sin_n so_o to_o reign_v
