first_o be_v certain_a in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n yet_o in_o our_o knowledge_n faith_n only_o that_o we_o have_v in_o christ_n be_v the_o thing_n that_o give_v to_o we_o our_o certyficate_n &_o for_o the_o more_o plain_a understanding_n of_o the_o simple_a for_o many_o kind_n there_o be_v of_o faith_n faith_n as_o a_o man_n may_v believe_v every_o thing_n that_o be_v true_a yet_o not_o every_o truth_n do_v save_v neither_o do_v the_o believe_v of_o every_o truth_n justify_v a_o man_n he_o that_o believe_v that_o god_n create_v all_o thing_n of_o nought_o believe_v truth_n he_o that_o believe_v that_o god_n be_v a_o just_a god_n that_o he_o be_v omnipotent_a not_o that_o he_o be_v merciful_a that_o he_o that_o be_v true_a of_o promise_n believe_v well_o and_o hold_v the_o truth_n faith_n so_o he_o that_o believe_v that_o god_n have_v his_o election_n from_o the_o beginning_n and_o that_o he_o also_o be_v one_o of_o the_o same_o elect_a and_o predestinate_a have_v a_o who_o object_n be_v the_o body_n and_o passion_n of_o christ_n jesus_n crucify_v so_o that_o in_o the_o a●te_n of_o justify_v these_o two_o faith_n and_o christ_n have_v a_o mutual_a relation_n relative_n and_o must_v always_o concur_v together_o faith_n as_o the_o action_n which_o apprehend_v christ_n as_o the_o object_n which_o be_v apprehend_v for_o neither_o do_v the_o passion_n of_o christ_n save_v without_o faith_n not_o neither_o do_v faith_n help_v except_o it_o be_v in_o christ_n as_o we_o see_v the_o body_n of_o man_n sustain_v by_o bread_n and_o drinker_n not_o except_o the_o same_o be_v receive_v no●_n and_o convey_v into_o the_o stomach_n and_o yet_o neither_o do_v tho_o receive_v of_o any_o thing_n sustain_v man_n body_n except_o it_o be_v meat_n and_o drink_v which_o have_v power_n to_o geve_v nourishment_n in_o like_o sort_n it_o be_v with_o faith_n for_o neither_o do_v the_o beléeve_v of_o every_o thing_n save_v but_o only_a faith_n in_o the_o blood_n of_o christneyther_o do_v again_o the_o same_o blood_n of_o christ_n profit_v we_o except_o by_o faith_n it_o be_v receive_v and_o as_o the_o son_n be_v the_o cause_n of_o all_o light_n ●●y●eth_v not_o but_o to_o they_o only_o which_o have_v eye_n to_o see_v nor_o yet_o to_o they_o neither_o ●●esse_v they_o will_v open_v their_o eye_n to_o receive_v the_o light_n so_o the_o passion_n of_o christ_n be_v the_o efficient_a cause_n of_o salvation_n but_o faith_n be_v the_o condition_n whereby_o the_o say_a passion_n be_v to_o we_o effectual_a and_o that_o be_v the_o cause_n why_o we_o ●aye_v with_o the_o scripture_n that_o faith_n only_o justify_v we_o not_o exclude_v thereby_o all_o other_o extern_a cause_n that_o go_v before_o faith_n as_o grace_n mercy_n election_n vocation_n salvation_n the_o death_n of_o christ_n etc_n etc_n all_o which_o be_v extern_a cause_n work_v our_o salvation_n through_o faith_n salvation_n but_o when_o we_o say_v that_o faith_n only_o justify_v we_o the_o meaning_n thereof_o be_v this_o that_o of_o all_o internal_a action_n motion_n or_o operation_n in_o man_n give_v to_o he_o of_o god_n there_o be_v no_o other_o that_o content_v and_o please_v god_n or_o stand_v before_o his_o judgement_n man._n or_o can_v help_v any_o thing_n to_o the_o justify_n of_o man_n before_o he_o but_o only_o this_o one_o action_n of_o faith_n in_o christ_n jesus_n the_o son_n of_o god._n for_o although_o the_o action_n of_o pray_v fast_a justification_n alm_n patience_n charity_n repentance_n the_o fear_n and_o love_n of_o god_n be_v his_o gift_n in_o man_n and_o not_o of_o man_n give_v of_o god_n to_o man_n yet_o be_v none_o of_o all_o these_o action_n in_o man_n impute_v of_o god_n to_o salvation_n but_o only_o this_o one_o action_n of_o faith_n in_o man_n upon_o christ_n jesus_n the_o son_n of_o god_n not_o that_o the_o action_n itself_o of_o believe_v as_o it_o be_v a_o qualyty_n in_o man_n do_v so_o deserve_v but_o because_o it_o take_v that_o dignity_n of_o the_o object_n for_o as_o i_o say_v in_o the_o act_n of_o justify_v faith_n as_o it_o be_v a_o action_n in_o man_n be_v not_o to_o be_v consider_v alone_o but_o must_v ever_o go_v with_o this_o object_n and_o take_v his_o virtue_n thereof_o like_a as_o the_o look_v up_o of_o the_o old_a isralyte_n object_n do_v not_o of_o itself_o procure_v any_o health_n unto_o they_o but_o the_o promise_v make_v in_o the_o object_n which_o be_v the_o brazen_a serpent_n whereupon_o they_o look_v give_v they_o health_n by_o their_o look_v up_o compare_v even_o so_o after_o like_a sort_n be_v we_o save_v by_o our_o faith_n and_o spiritual_a look_v up_o to_o the_o body_n

majesty_n and_o mighty_a power_n of_o god_n which_o suffer_v not_o one_o sparrow_n to_o fall_v upon_o the_o earth_n without_o his_o will_n &_o providence_n neither_o one_o hear_v to_o fall_v from_o the_o head_n of_o his_o elect_a and_o choose_v how_o fierce_o so_o ever_o they_o shall_v rage_v against_o they_o wherefore_o oh_o you_o serpent_n seed_n how_o soever_o you_o shall_v be_v offend_v with_o this_o that_o i_o shall_v speak_v know_v this_o that_o as_o the_o mighty_a god_n have_v make_v the_o scatter_a sand_n able_a enough_o to_o stay_v the_o rage_a sea_n so_o shall_v your_o proud_a light_n of_o thy_o spirit_n oh_o lord_n do_v thou_o what_o shall_v please_v thou_o to_o open_v to_o we_o thy_o servant_n and_o child_n depend_v of_o thy_o hand_n so_o much_o of_o the_o light_n of_o thy_o countenance_n and_o at_o such_o time_n as_o shall_v seem_v good_a to_o thy_o wisdom_n and_o fatherly_a mercy_n in_o the_o mean_a time_n thus_o re●ting_v whole_o upon_o thou_o neither_o can_v
