to_o see_v the_o impurity_n of_o his_o nature_n and_o want_n of_o holiness_n he_o may_v fear_v that_o there_o be_v not_o the_o beginning_n of_o grace_n second_o 2_o by_o enlighten_v of_o we_o for_o which_o man_n shall_v get_v knowledge_n faith_n and_o repentance_n and_o be_v the_o better_a for_o it_o all_o the_o week_n after_o they_o come_v to_o swill_v swagger_v and_o misspend_v their_o precious_a time_n which_o i_o trust_v all_o good_a man_n that_o hope_v to_o enjoy_v the_o communion_n of_o saint_n will_v shun_v detest_v and_o abominate_a now_o the_o papist_n do_v further_o enlarge_v this_o point_n object_n and_o say_v that_o the_o saint_n may_v communicate_v their_o merit_n one_o to_o another_o for_o they_o say_v that_o the_o saint_n can_v merit_v enough_o for_o themselves_o and_o give_v the_o overplus_n to_o their_o friend_n this_o be_v a_o monstrous_a opinion_n and_o yet_o the_o doctrine_n of_o that_o church_n which_o by_o three_o reason_n i_o will_v disproove_v first_o another_o because_o no_o man_n can_v merit_v for_o himself_o so_o if_o he_o can_v merit_v for_o himself_o he_o can_v merit_v for_o another_o and_o no_o man_n can_v merit_v for_o himself_o because_o merit_n be_v a_o work_n that_o be_v not_o due_a see_v all_o that_o we_o can_v do_v to_o god_n 1._o be_v but_o our_o duty_n now_o all_o the_o service_n that_o we_o do_v to_o god_n unprofitable_a servant_n therefore_o if_o no_o man_n can_v merit_v for_o himself_o then_o much_o less_o can_v he_o merit_v for_o another_o second_o 2._o no_o man_n can_v merit_v for_o another_o but_o
