then_o by_o teach_v admonish_a and_o visit_v of_o other_o if_o not_o herein_o by_o suffer_v ourselves_o to_o be_v teach_v admonish_v and_o instruct_v of_o other_o wherefore_o as_o in_o a_o solemn_a banquet_n furnish_v with_o diverse_a meat_n the_o weak_a stomach_n not_o like_v one_o dish_n may_v refresh_v simile_n itself_o with_o another_o unless_o the_o appetite_n be_v altogether_o go_v so_o rest_n and_o sanctification_n of_o the_o rest_n so_o two_o thing_n be_v forbid_v namely_o labour_n and_o travail_n so_o far_o as_o either_o they_o hinder_v the_o sanctify_a of_o the_o sabbath_n and_o the_o profane_v of_o the_o sabbath_n rest_n first_o of_o the_o impediment_n of_o sanctify_v of_o the_o sabbath_n which_o in_o their_o own_o nature_n be_v indifferent_a we_o must_v know_v that_o as_o meat_n whereby_o a_o man_n may_v be_v make_v more_o cheerful_a in_o the_o duty_n of_o sanctification_n so_o that_o both_o in_o use_v they_o we_o refresh_v &_o not_o oppress_v ourselves_o and_o in_o prepare_v they_o we_o use_v the_o time_n before_o after_z or_o between_o the_o public_a exercise_n but_o as_o god_n have_v permit_v this_o leave_n so_o we_o on_o our_o part_n be_v to_o take_v heed_n remedy_n to_o make_v we_o feel_v sin_n be_v the_o sense_n of_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n threaten_v in_o the_o law_n and_o why_o can_v the_o papist_n rejoice_v in_o christ_n but_o imagine_v other_o history_n be_v it_o not_o because_o they_o have_v imagine_v a_o colour_a persuasion_n of_o the_o law_n think_v that_o the_o law_n may_v be_v keep_v of_o man_n measure_v the_o interpretation_n of_o the_o law_n and_o the_o observation_n thereof_o by_o gross_a sin_n and_o not_o otherwise_o as_o do_v the_o pharisy_n count_v all_o the_o spiritual_a interpretation_n of_o the_o commandment_n but_o man_n to_o have_v be_v learn_v long_o ago_o and_o belch_v out_o in_o time_n of_o popery_n and_o that_o it_o be_v no_o new_a thing_n but_o a_o say_n very_o well_o know_v but_o when_o we_o look_v into_o will_v look_v into_o ourselves_o we_o shall_v find_v that_o those_o thing_n which_o seem_v to_o be_v most_o easy_o believe_v be_v further_a from_o faith_n and_o that_o thing_n most_o easy_a to_o be_v learn_v be_v further_a from_o practice_n true_a it_o be_v that_o every_o man_n will_v say_v who_o will_v not_o believe_v this_o what_o a_o beast_n be_v he_o that_o will_v deny_v the_o truth_n of_o god_n word_n but_o alas_o our_o careless_a read_n our_o rare_a meditate_v our_o cold_a pray_v and_o praise_v of_o god_n for_o his_o word_n our_o seldom_o conference_n of_o the_o word_n will_v very_a good_a direction_n in_o the_o general_a thing_n of_o the_o word_n which_o be_v universal_a and_o few_o yet_o we_o shall_v find_v many_o distraction_n in_o our_o practice_n which_o must_v be_v particular_a and_o many_o and_o we_o shall_v either_o fail_v in_o memory_n by_o forgetfulness_n or_o in_o judgement_n by_o blindness_n or_o in_o affection_n by_o dulness_n so_o easy_o may_v we_o slip_v when_o we_o think_v we_o may_v hold_v our_o journey_n on_o wherefore_o the_o man_n of_o god_n through_o that_o examination_n which_o he_o take_v of_o his_o heart_n and_o affection_n see_v those_o manifold_a straits_n and_o difficulty_n pray_v in_o the_o verse_n follow_v not_o for_o the_o renew_v of_o man_n in_o general_a trouble_n but_o for_o the_o hinder_v of_o his_o particular_a
