the_o true_a church_n notwithstanding_o in_o this_o they_o go_v not_o before_o the_o apostate_n church_n of_o israel_n who_o have_v a_o continual_a succession_n of_o their_o priest_n and_o levite_n even_o from_o aaron_n time_n and_o yet_o now_o they_o cease_v to_o be_v the_o true_a church_n of_o god_n and_o be_v reject_v from_o the_o priesthood_n it_o be_v not_o therefore_o the_o succession_n of_o the_o ministry_n but_o their_o knowledge_n and_o painful_a diligence_n in_o teach_v the_o people_n which_o approve_v they_o to_o be_v the_o true_a minister_n of_o god_n and_o where_o these_o be_v they_o be_v a_o infallible_a note_n of_o god_n true_a church_n but_o when_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o word_n be_v neglect_v either_o through_o ignorance_n or_o idleness_n there_o be_v no_o ministry_n approve_v of_o god_n and_o consequent_o no_o true_a church_n and_o so_o much_o concern_v the_o sin_n of_o the_o priest_n the_o second_o be_v forgetfulness_n of_o god_n and_o his_o law_n in_o these_o word_n and_o see_v thou_o have_v forget_v the_o law_n of_o thy_o god_n unto_o which_o be_v annex_v a_o grievous_a punishment_n in_o these_o word_n i_o will_v also_o forget_v thy_o child_n their_o sin_n be_v forgetfulness_n of_o god_n law_n for_o howsoever_o exposition_n the_o exposition_n they_o be_v the_o lord_n priest_n unto_o who_o god_n oracle_n be_v commit_v in_o which_o by_o god_n commandment_n they_o be_v to_o meditate_v continual_o that_o so_o not_o only_o know_v but_o also_o remember_v they_o they_o may_v be_v the_o better_o fit_v both_o to_o observe_v they_o themselves_o and_o also_o to_o teach_v and_o instruct_v the_o people_n in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n will_n in_o his_o law_n reveal_v yet_o such_o be_v their_o carelessness_n negligence_n and_o contempt_n of_o it_o that_o they_o neither_o know_v nor_o remember_v it_o and_o much_o less_o obey_v it_o themselves_o or_o inform_v the_o people_n that_o they_o may_v know_v and_o keep_v it_o from_o whence_o we_o may_v god_n our_o inclinablenesse_n unto_o forgetfulness_n of_o god_n observe_v how_o inclinable_a we_o be_v to_o this_o vice_n of_o forgetfulness_n see_v neither_o respect_n of_o our_o place_n and_o duty_n nor_o any_o mean_n that_o can_v be_v use_v will_v imprint_v god_n law_n in_o the_o stony_a table_n of_o our_o memory_n unless_o it_o be_v engrave_v with_o the_o finger_n of_o god_n spirit_n howsoever_o they_o be_v like_o wax_n ready_a to_o receive_v the_o print_n of_o any_o worldly_a impression_n &_o like_o brass_n to_o keep_v it_o the_o cause_n of_o this_o our_o forgetfulness_n be_v first_o our_o natural_a forgetfulness_n the_o cause_n of_o our_o forgetfulness_n corruption_n and_o the_o uncleanness_n of_o our_o heart_n and_o mind_n be_v one_o of_o the_o curse_a fruit_n of_o original_a sin_n whereof_o it_o be_v that_o they_o be_v forge_n of_o wicked_a thought_n fountain_n from_o which_o nothing_o spring_v but_o carnal_a meditation_n and_o like_o wide_a sive_n which_o suffer_v all_o the_o flower_n of_o goodness_n to_o pass_v through_o they_o and_o retain_v nothing_o but_o the_o gross_a bran_n of_o worldliness_n and_o wickedness_n this_o appear_v gen._n 6._o 5._o
