knowledge_n for_o as_o the_o self-moving_a part_n alter_v or_o vary_v their_o action_n so_o they_o alter_v and_o vary_v their_o life_n and_o knowledge_n but_o there_o can_v be_v a_o infinite_a particular_a knowledge_n nor_o a_o infinite_a particular_a life_n because_o matter_n be_v divisible_a and_o compoundable_a chap._n viii_o of_o nature_n knowledge_n and_o perception_n if_o nature_n be_v not_o self-knowing_a self-living_a and_o also_o perceptive_a she_o will_v run_v into_o confusion_n for_o there_o can_v be_v neither_o order_n nor_o method_n in_o ignorant_a motion_n neither_o will_v there_o be_v distinct_a kind_n or_o sort_n of_o creature_n nor_o such_o exact_a and_o methodical_a variety_n as_o there_o be_v for_o it_o be_v impossible_a to_o make_v orderly_a and_o methodical_a distinction_n or_o distinct_a order_n by_o chance_n wherefore_o nature_n be_v so_o exact_a as_o she_o be_v must_v needs_o be_v self-knowing_a and_o perceptive_a and_o though_o all_o her_o part_n even_o the_o inanimate_a part_n be_v self-knowing_a and_o self-living_a yet_o only_o her_o self-moving_a part_n have_v a_o active_a life_n and_o a_o perceptive_a knowledge_n chap._n ix_o of_o be_v no_o platonic_a lover_n in_o nature_n but_o some_o may_v ask_v whether_o the_o sensitive_a part_n can_v perceive_v the_o rational_a in_o one_o and_o the_o same_o creature_n i_o answer_v they_o
