rather_o a_o father_n of_o the_o infallible_a church_n that_o it_o have_v provoke_v i_o if_o not_o to_o answer_v yet_o at_o least_o to_o reflect_v upon_o some_o passage_n in_o this_o magisterial_a composure_n composure_n 2._o whatever_o become_v of_o other_o argument_n interest_n be_v most_o likely_a to_o prevail_v you_o sir_n suppose_v your_o parliament_n man_n in_o these_o word_n to_o be_v one_o who_o will_v regard_v no_o argument_n from_o justice_n reason_n religion_n or_o the_o law_n of_o god_n or_o man_n interest_n be_v the_o only_a thing_n which_o be_v likely_a to_o prevail_v a_o excellent_a compliment_n to_o a_o parliament_n man_n but_o it_o go_v high_a yet_o and_o take_v in_o the_o majority_n of_o the_o state_n for_o no_o one_o man_n shall_v ever_o determine_v these_o great_a thing_n thing_n 3._o you_o tell_v he_o that_o all_o the_o threaten_a danger_n of_o popery_n be_v not_o a_o more_o formidable_a prospect_n to_o consider_v man_n than_o the_o present_a distraction_n and_o division_n now_o sure_o this_o be_v a_o very_a bold_a and_o dare_a stroke_n but_o that_o i_o be_o certain_a these_o pensive_a thoughtful_a man_n be_v not_o either_o very_a numerous_a or_o very_o considerable_a otherwise_o the_o few_o of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n that_o be_v over-thoughtful_a in_o this_o point_n deserve_v much_o compassion_n because_o they_o disquiet_v themselves_o and_o other_o out_o of_o pure_a tenderness_n of_o conscience_n and_o a_o overgreat_a loyalty_n but_o then_o there_o be_v no_o danger_n to_o be_v apprehend_v from_o they_o and_o they_o will_v in_o time_n satisfy_v their_o own_o scruple_n and_o in_o the_o interim_n i_o doubt_v not_o infinite_o more_o man_n dread_v the_o danger_n of_o popery_n even_o to_o this_o day_n than_o all_o the_o commonwealth_n man_n dissenter_n ambitious_a and_o revengeful_a wretch_n which_o you_o have_v so_o artful_o muster_v up_o to_o fright_v the_o country_n esquire_n with_o can_v overbalance_n strange_a it_o be_v in_o the_o mean_a time_n that_o the_o danger_n of_o popery_n which_o last_n october_n appear_v so_o formidable_a shall_v in_o so_o short_a a_o time_n vanish_v or_o rather_o dwindle_v into_o nothing_o but_o god_n by_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o prince_n of_o orange_n and_o his_o friend_n have_v bring_v this_o about_o in_o the_o rest_n of_o that_o section_n i_o agree_v let_v but_o a_o popish_a prince_n have_v the_o supreme_a executive_a power_n and_o the_o legal_a prerogative_n and_o he_o will_v break_v through_o all_o your_o restriction_n with_o wonderful_a facility_n as_o we_o have_v see_v by_o experience_n but_o then_o if_o you_o leave_v he_o the_o name_n and_o take_v away_o the_o power_n of_o a_o king_n you_o set_v up_o a_o commonwealth_n immediate_o which_o will_v not_o end_v with_o your_o popish_a prince_n but_o there_o will_v be_v stickle_v to_o keep_v all_o thing_n in_o the_o same_o state_n in_o the_o follow_a reign_n of_o what_o religion_n soever_o the_o prince_n be_v which_o be_v the_o reason_n why_o the_o limitation_n offer_v by_o charles_n ii_o in_o 1679._o be_v reject_v well_o but_o we_o will_v have_v think_v ourselves_o very_o secure_a if_o the_o king_n will_v have_v call_v a_o free_a parliament_n yes_o sir_n if_o he_o will_v have_v call_v it_o free_o so_o that_o it_o have_v be_v the_o production_n of_o his_o will_n
