down_o by_o the_o angel_n which_o indeed_o be_v certain_a to_o god_n but_o to_o we_o uncertain_a and_o in_o very_o d●ed_v in_o my_o judgement_n also_o that_o time_n can_v be_v otherwise_o expound_v for_o if_o the_o number_n be_v certain_a unto_o we_o we_o may_v withal_o know_v when_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n shall_v be_v but_o this_o can_v be_v know_v because_o of_o the_o word_n christ_n of_o that_o day_n and_o hour_n no_o man_n know_v therefore_o no_o certainty_n can_v be_v conclude_v out_o of_o this_o place_n of_o the_o revelation_n touch_v the_o time_n of_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n in_o like_a sort_n the_o four_o conjecture_n have_v reference_n to_o that_o which_o they_o derive_v from_o the_o time_n which_o be_v se●_n down_o in_o daniel_n cap._n 12._o from_o the_o time_n of_o the_o oblation_n of_o the_o daily_a sacrifice_n and_o the_o abomination_n of_o 〈◊〉_d set_v up_o shall_v be_v day_n 1290._o bless_a i●_n 〈◊〉_d that_o expect_v and_o attain_v to_o 1335._o day_n although_o say_v they_o this_o number_n seem_v to_o prophesy_v of_o th●_n war_n of_o the_o macchabee_n yet_o also_o there_o be_v some_o notice_n therein_o of_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n therefore_o by_o day_n they_o will_v have_v year_n understand_v which_o be_v in_o remainder_n from_o daniel_n time_n to_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n for_o there_o be_v first_o 1290._o year_n then_o more_o by_o addition_n 1335._o all_o these_o put_v together_o do_v amount_v to_o 2625._o year_n now_o from_o the_o 〈◊〉_d wherein_o daniel_n do_v publish_v this_o pprophecy_n to_o the_o first_o come_v of_o christ_n do_v run_v out_o 600._o year_n o●_n thereabouts_o therefore_o there_o remain_v yet_o from_o the_o nativity_n 〈◊〉_d christ_n until_o the_o end_n 2026._o year_n now_o then_o in_o th●●_n year_n 1560._o out_o of_o those_o 2625._o year_n be_v spend_v 1560._o therefore_o as_o yet_o there_o remain_v until_o the_o world_n end_n about_o 425._o year_n i_o answer_v from_o hence_o also_o nothing_o can_v be_v conclude_v first_o there_o be_v no_o agreement_n at_o all_o with_o the_o prophet_n predication_n that_o these_o thing_n shall_v be_v understand_v of_o the_o war_n of_o the_o maccbabee_n which_o go_v before_o the_o come_n of_o christ_n and_o therefore_o neither_o of_o the_o profanation_n of_o the_o temple_n which_o fall_v out_o under_o antiochus_n for_o it_o appear_v manifest_o that_o the_o prophet_n in_o the_o end_n of_o his_o prophecy_n do_v foretell_v of_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v to_o come_v to_o pass_v in_o the_o church_n after_o the_o last_o destruction_n of_o the_o temple_n and_o the_o abrogation_n of_o the_o whole_a mosaical_a lyturgie_n as_o the_o prophet_n foreshow_v in_o the_o end_n of_o the_o 9_o chapter_n until_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n which_o thing_n even_o christ_n quote_v this_o very_a place_n matthew_n 24._o do_v clear_o teach_v when_o he_o say_v when_o you_o shall_v see_v the_o abomination_n of_o desolation_n which_o be_v speak_v of_o by_o daniel_n the_o prophet_n 〈◊〉_d therefore_o the_o prophet_n speak_v of_o the_o desolation_n or_o destruction_n of_o the_o temple_n which_o follow_v the_o abrogation_n of_o the_o daily_a sacrifice_n that_o be_v of_o the_o mosaical_a service_n christ_n himself_o be_v interpreter_n and_o not_o of_o that_o profanation_n which_o fall_v out_o under_o the_o tyranny_n of_o it_o be_v make_v evident_a that_o the_o time_n whereof_o daniel_n here_o speak_v do_v begin_v from_o that_o last_o abominable_a and_o perpetual_a demolition_n of_o the_o temple_n which_o be_v effect_v by_o the_o roman_n and_o to_o continue_v unto_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n wherein_o daniel_n together_o with_o other_o shall_v arise_v out_o of_o his_o rest_a place_n that_o be_v the_o grave_n wherein_o he_o quiet_o lie_v and_o shall_v live_v again_o with_o his_o lot_n that_o be_v in_o everlasting_a beatitude_n after_o the_o end_n of_o all_o day_n the_o case_n so_o stand_v it_o be_v a_o good_a consequent_a that_o no_o part_n of_o that_o time_n of_o which_o the_o prophet_n here_o speak_v can_v have_v reference_n to_o these_o year_n which_o be_v praecedent_n the_o come_n of_o christ_n wherefore_o they_o do_v not_o carry_v the_o matter_n skilfu_o who_o out_o of_o these_o 2._o number_n 1290._o and_o 1335._o do_v so_o make_v up_o the_o year_n 2625._o as_o that_o they_o refer_v 600._o to_o the_o time_n which_o go_v before_o christ_n manifestation_n in_o the_o flesh_n and_o then_o from_o thence_o they_o gather_v the_o surplusage_n to_o be_v from_o the_o first_o to_o the_o second_o come_v of_o christ_n 2026._o year_n certes_o if_o those_o 2._o number_n be_v to_o be_v distinguish_v &_o then_o after_o join_v together_o &_o day_n be_v take_v for_o year_n it_o will_v be_v behooveful_a to_o acknowledge_v that_o from_o the_o abomination_n of_o the_o daily_a sacrifice_n that_o be_v of_o all_o moysaicall_a sacrifice_n &_o the_o devastation_n until_o the_o last_o come_n of_o christ_n do_v run_v between_o 2625._o year_n moreover_o whereas_o they_o distinguish_v those_o two_o number_n as_o be_v indeed_o different_a the_o one_o from_o the_o other_o &_o after_o conjoin_v they_o that_o have_v no_o foundation_n to_o rely_v upon_o for_o there_o be_v some_o and_o those_o man_n of_o good_a respect_n which_o hold_v the_o same_o thing_n to_o be_v mean_v by_o both_o the_o number_n that_o be_v to_o say_v that_o the_o church_n of_o god_n for_o a_o long_a time_n be_v and_o shall_v be_v afflict_v unto_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n but_o yet_o it_o be_v to_o hold_v out_o in_o perseverance_n manful_o and_o a_o deliverance_n to_o be_v expect_v for_o that_o when_o no_o such_o matter_n at_o all_o be_v think_v upon_o as_o the_o riddance_n from_o those_o evil_n than_o the_o church_n upon_o the_o sudden_a as_o it_o be_v in_o the_o intercourse_n of_o time_n shall_v be_v deliver_v from_o all_o these_o affliction_n add_v withal_o that_o which_o may_v be_v affirm_v as_o many_o suppose_v that_o this_o number_n here_o as_o before_o be_v put_v down_o a_o certain_a for_o a_o uncertain_a which_o thing_n the_o

thing_n and_o shall_v seduce_v all_o except_o a_o few_o of_o the_o elect_a partly_o by_o his_o hypocrisy_n partly_o by_o his_o lie_a miracle_n 2._o thes_n 2._o insomuch_o that_o as_o john_n speak_v the_o day_n but_o even_o at_o noonday_n which_o be_v not_o only_o transfigure_v into_o a_o angel_n of_o light_n but_o also_o exalt_v above_o all_o that_o be_v call_v god_n or_o that_o be_v worship_v thus_o bernard_n loe_o one_o of_o the_o principal_a signe●_n go_v before_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n that_o be_v to_o say_v the_o manifestation_n of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o antichrist_n yet_o
