whatsoever_o but_o be_v we_o rich_a of_o jesuitism_n as_o well_o as_o of_o popery_n we_o will_v not_o with_o so_o little_a examination_n receive_v opinion_n which_o we_o know_v have_v their_o first_o hatch_n in_o the_o school_n of_o the_o jesuit_n the_o matter_n will_v require_v a_o very_a large_a field_n shall_v we_o set_v forth_o all_o thing_n that_o fit_o conduce_v to_o the_o support_n of_o change_v the_o natural_a government_n into_o that_o which_o be_v tyrannical_a the_o three_o sort_n have_v much_o what_o the_o same_o original_n with_o the_o second_o where_o people_n surcharge_v at_o home_n and_o force_v abroad_o man_n in_o division_n in_o distress_n in_o fear_n exile_n and_o fugitive_n distrust_v their_o present_a condition_n serve_v themselves_o on_o the_o wit_n spirit_n and_o courage_n of_o some_o notable_a man_n to_o who_o command_n they_o with_o such_o limitation_n of_o his_o power_n as_o they_o can_v agree_v on_o subject_v themselves_o and_o then_o fall_v into_o action_n prosper_v even_o into_o a_o kingdom_n from_o hence_o spring_v our_o modern_a kingdom_n more_o novel_a and_o various_a in_o their_o frame_n and_o many_o of_o they_o so_o qualify_v as_o not_o proper_o to_o be_v call_v kingdom_n but_o rather_o republic_n under_o regal_a style_n with_o prince_n elective_a much_o circumscribe_v in_o authority_n and_o obnoxious_a to_o depose_v now_o in_o the_o first_o and_o second_o sort_n apparent_o the_o people_n have_v never_o any_o thing_n to_o do_v with_o the_o institution_n and_o limitation_n of_o sovereign_a power_n and_o though_o in_o the_o three_o sort_n they_o have_v more_o to_o do_v therewith_o yet_o not_o alike_o in_o all_o of_o that_o sort_n nor_o have_v they_o the_o whole_a and_o sole_a power_n of_o institute_v scarce_o in_o any_o of_o that_o sort_n so_o as_o we_o must_v rectify_v that_o misapprehension_n that_o in_o all_o kingdom_n the_o first_o derivation_n of_o authority_n be_v from_o the_o people_n in_o the_o next_o place_n we_o be_v to_o consider_v that_o kingdom_n be_v not_o association_n of_o man_n in_o their_o natural_a capacity_n but_o communion_n of_o man_n quatenùs_fw-la member_n politic_a unite_v in_o one_o common_a bond_n of_o obedience_n into_o one_o political_a body_n where_o none_o can_v move_v to_o give_v his_o due_a aid_n for_o the_o weal_n of_o the_o body_n but_o in_o the_o capacity_n of_o a_o politic_a member_n and_o according_a to_o the_o peculiar_a office_n which_o every_o several_a member_n proper_o aught_o to_o execute_v which_o office_n the_o member_n due_o exercise_v make_v a_o true_a and_o perfect_a civil_a communion_n now_o though_o we_o consider_v a_o kingdom_n as_o a_o mere_a civil_a or_o temporal_a state_n only_o yet_o even_o there_o the_o observance_n of_o this_o communion_n be_v a_o duty_n strict_o require_v of_o every_o member_n even_o by_o the_o law_n of_o nature_n or_o moral_a law_n and_o by_o the_o law_n of_o god_n itself_o for_o man_n have_v lose_v his_o original_a righteousness_n or_o justice_n and_o consequent_o the_o right_a of_o govern_v himself_o and_o be_v thereby_o necessary_o subject_v to_o the_o government_n of_o some_o justice_n without_o himself_o it_o be_v necessary_a for_o his_o own_o good_a and_o safety_n that_o he_o shall_v not_o only_o be_v subject_a to_o that_o justice_n in_o the_o thing_n that_o concern_v the_o well_o govern_v himself_o towards_o other_o but_o likewise_o in_o those_o thing_n
that_o concern_v his_o safety_n and_o defence_n from_o the_o violence_n of_o other_o misgovern_v themselves_o towards_o he_o and_o that_o necessary_o bring_v in_o empire_n so_o that_o unless_o we_o can_v imagine_v some_o kingdom_n to_o consist_v of_o people_n spring_v of_o themselves_o in_o perfection_n of_o righteousness_n not_o depend_v nor_o oblige_v to_o god_n or_o nature_n nor_o obnoxious_a to_o those_o condition_n to_o which_o the_o fall_n of_o man_n have_v subject_v all_o man_n we_o can_v devise_v how_o man_n shall_v natural_o be_v free_a from_o subjection_n to_o government_n and_o less_o how_o be_v subject_a private_a man_n in_o any_o state_n shall_v in_o their_o natural_a capacity_n meddle_v with_o any_o thing_n concerning_o government_n or_o so_o much_o as_o go_v about_o in_o it_o but_o when_o we_o say_v so_o we_o by_o all_o the_o people_n mean_v the_o whole_a entire_a body_n of_o the_o member_n politic_a from_o head_n to_o foot_n every_o one_o of_o they_o abide_v and_o work_v according_a to_o his_o proper_a and_o ordain_v office_n politic_a but_o if_o beside_o their_o ordain_a office_n and_o power_n any_o shall_v do_v or_o attempt_v any_o alteration_n in_o the_o state_n howsoever_o intend_v for_o common_a good_a their_o act_n must_v needs_o be_v so_o far_o from_o be_v lawful_a as_o be_v from_o the_o beginning_n repugnant_a and_o resist_v the_o ordain_a reach_n and_o power_n of_o the_o people_n it_o be_v true_a god_n be_v king_n of_o all_o king_n and_o high_a sovereign_n in_o all_o kingdom_n as_o well_o heathen_a as_o christian_a yet_o as_o he_o caution_v in_o the_o behalf_n of_o his_o church_n that_o no_o stranger_n shall_v be_v king_n there_o but_o by_o any_o mean_v one_o that_o be_v of_o the_o brethren_n of_o the_o people_n so_o in_o his_o church_n he_o himself_o be_v a_o near_a and_o as_o it_o be_v a_o more_o cognate_v sovereign_a then_o in_o other_o kingdom_n and_o his_o vicegerent_n there_o be_v of_o more_o immediate_a and_o more_o important_a subordination_n to_o he_o for_o which_o cause_n he_o there_o reserve_v to_o himself_o the_o choice_n of_o the_o man_n and_o leave_v the_o people_n no_o more_o than_o the_o bare_a invest_n of_o he_o not_o but_o that_o god_n in_o all_o kingdom_n make_v king_n who_o he_o please_v but_o he_o will_v have_v it_o know_v that_o in_o his_o church_n the_o choice_n be_v not_o only_o he_o and_o
