their_o resolution_n for_o religion_n king_n and_o kingdom_n in_o pursuance_n of_o the_o end_n of_o the_o covenant_n we_o the_o estate_n of_o parliament_n now_o convene_v in_o the_o first_o session_n of_o this-second_a triennial_n parliament_n find_v the_o strong_a endeavour_n and_o attempt_n of_o disaffect_v person_n and_o enemy_n of_o truth_n to_o blast_v and_o obstruct_v our_o labour_n in_o the_o performance_n of_o our_o duty_n in_o order_n to_o all_o our_o relation_n by_o traduce_v and_o calumniate_a our_o proceed_n be_v therefore_o oblige_v to_o undeceive_v the_o abuse_a people_n to_o now_o in_o as_o great_a if_o not_o great_a danger_n than_o it_o ever_o be_v in_o since_o the_o begin_n of_o all_o their_o late_a trouble_n upon_o the_o grow_a division_n and_o debate_n betwixt_o his_o majesty_n and_o his_o two_o house_n of_o the_o parliament_n of_o england_n this_o kingdom_n do_v for_o the_o space_n of_o near_o two_o year_n by_o reiterated_a petition_n and_o message_n offer_v their_o service_n and_o endeavour_n for_o compose_v and_o remove_v these_o dissension_n and_o difference_n but_o their_o desire_n therein_o through_o the_o counsel_n and_o practice_n of_o their_o common_a enemy_n be_v still_o make_v ineffectual_a and_o disappoint_v until_o at_o length_n many_o thousand_o of_o either_o side_n be_v fall_v by_o the_o fury_n and_o rage_n of_o a_o cruel_a and_o unnatural_a sword_n and_o the_o flourish_a kingdom_n of_o england_n turn_v into_o a_o field_n of_o blood_n and_o while_o they_o be_v thus_o with_o their_o own_o hand_n tear_v out_o their_o own_o bowel_n and_o massacre_a themselves_o the_o house_n of_o parliament_n then_o in_o a_o very_a low_a condition_n invite_v this_o kingdom_n to_o their_o assistance_n who_o find_v their_o petition_n and_o that_o bitter_a cup_n which_o overflow_v in_o england_n pour_v out_o upon_o their_o own_o head_n if_o those_o counsel_n and_o advice_n which_o give_v first_o life_n and_o motion_n to_o these_o
