part_n of_o it_o be_v remove_v to_o london_n we_o conceive_v master_n mayor_n of_o hull_n may_v safe_o keep_v the_o town_n as_o before_o 2._o for_o lay_v aside_o the_o militia_n we_o be_v free_a from_o jealousy_n of_o foreign_a force_n so_o that_o you_o may_v have_v time_n enough_o to_o frame_v a_o last_a law_n which_o notwithstanding_o for_o fear_v of_o inconvenience_n to_o the_o subject_n liberty_n you_o may_v if_o you_o so_o think_v fit_a make_v the_o law_n a_o probationer_n beside_o his_o majesty_n if_o occasion_n shall_v be_v be_v vest_v with_o sufficient_a power_n to_o raise_v force_n for_o the_o defence_n of_o the_o kingdom_n for_o which_o only_o we_o be_v confident_a his_o majesty_n will_v employ_v they_o and_o we_o shall_v hold_v ourselves_o worse_o than_o infidel_n if_o after_o so_o many_o protestation_n to_o maintain_v the_o true_a religion_n by_o law_n establish_v the_o subject_n in_o the_o liberty_n of_o their_o person_n and_o propriety_n of_o their_o good_n and_o the_o privilege_n of_o parliament_n and_o that_o he_o will_v govern_v we_o by_o the_o know_a law_n of_o the_o land_n we_o shall_v not_o with_o full_a assurance_n believe_v in_o he_o and_o confide_v in_o he_o 3._o for_o adjourn_v the_o parliament_n to_o another_o place_n his_o majesty_n have_v express_v the_o reason_n that_o he_o be_v drive_v away_o by_o tumultuary_a assembly_n and_o that_o he_o can_v return_v thither_o with_o honour_n and_o safety_n and_o divers_a of_o the_o lord_n be_v absent_a who_o promise_v to_o return_v back_o to_o the_o house_n when_o they_o may_v sit_v with_o the_o liberty_n and_o that_o condition_n that_o the_o peerage_n of_o england_n former_o have_v do_v secure_v from_o all_o menace_n or_o demand_v any_o account_n of_o their_o particular_a vote_n which_o we_o conceive_v to_o be_v against_o the_o freedom_n of_o parliament_n which_o by_o our_o protestation_n we_o must_v maintain_v and_o from_o tumultuary_a assembly_n these_o have_v be_v the_o occasion_n as_o we_o believe_v that_o of_o near_o five_o hundred_o in_o the_o house_n of_o commons_o there_o be_v but_o about_o one_o hundred_o and_o forty_o leave_v to_o sit_v there_o and_o the_o great_a part_n of_o the_o lord_n go_v away_o 4._o for_o the_o restitution_n of_o the_o navy_n our_o reason_n be_v that_o the_o neighbour_n nation_n do_v take_v notice_n that_o his_o majesty_n navy_n be_v detain_v from_o he_o which_o if_o not_o sudden_o restore_v may_v turn_v to_o his_o majesty_n dishonour_n who_o honour_n by_o our_o protestation_n we_o be_v bind_v to_o maintain_v another_o mean_n we_o conceive_v to_o settle_v the_o state_n and_o mind_n of_o the_o subject_n be_v a_o free_a general_a and_o large_a pardon_n which_o since_o his_o majesty_n have_v so_o gracious_o offer_v we_o desire_v and_o
expect_v to_o receive_v and_o if_o any_o man_n do_v dislike_v it_o he_o may_v be_v except_v and_o the_o generality_n of_o the_o subject_n not_o hinder_v of_o their_o good_a and_o his_o majesty_n the_o first_o of_o august_n at_o the_o court_n at_o york_n this_o four_o of_o august_n 1642._o his_o majesty_n have_v with_o great_a satisfaction_n in_o the_o loyalty_n and_o affection_n of_o the_o these_o word_n that_o the_o petitioner_n be_v not_o more_o ease_v and_o satisfy_v with_o the_o good_a law_n his_o majesty_n have_v pass_v than_o his_o majesty_n himself_o be_v please_v with_o that_o way_n of_o oblige_v his_o subject_n neither_o have_v he_o ever_o make_v the_o least_o promise_n or_o profession_n of_o repair_v or_o redress_v the_o grievance_n of_o his_o people_n which_o he_o have_v not_o be_v and_o always_o will_v be_v ready_a to_o perform_v his_o majesty_n can_v blame_v the_o petitioner_n to_o be_v apprehensive_a of_o a_o civil_a war_n since_o the_o present_a distraction_n ground_v upon_o no_o visible_a cause_n to_o which_o his_o majesty_n can_v or_o can_v yet_o apply_v a_o remedy_n threaten_v no_o less_o confusion_n but_o his_o majesty_n doubt_v not_o that_o the_o
