for_o govern_v the_o people_n of_o god_n as_o it_o be_v now_o well_o found_v upon_o the_o decrce_n of_o god_n and_o begin_v to_o be_v build_v already_o shall_v be_v build_v up_o and_o grow_v unto_o a_o perspicuous_a perfection_n from_o one_o generation_n to_o another_o and_o be_v perpetuate_v for_o ever_o thy_o seed_n will_v i_o establish_v for_o ever_o and_o build_v up_o thy_o throne_n to_o all_o generation_n when_o disappearance_n of_o hope_a good_a thing_n do_v brangle_v faith_n than_o the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o his_o promise_n must_v be_v call_v to_o memory_n upon_o which_o faith_n must_v fix_v itself_o as_o this_o example_n teach_v 3_o the_o mercy_n and_o faithfulness_n of_o god_n which_o be_v the_o common_a ground_n of_o the_o stability_n of_o all_o he_o lord_n promise_n be_v believe_v in_o the_o general_a shall_v be_v apply_v particular_o to_o every_o promise_n as_o we_o have_v need_v thereof_o that_o we_o may_v strengthen_v our_o faith_n by_o reason_v from_o this_o ground_n thus_o god_n mercy_n and_o faithfulness_n do_v make_v all_o his_o promise_n fast_o and_o therefore_o do_v make_v fast_o this_o particular_a promise_n also_o whereupon_o i_o do_v row_n pitch_v in_o the_o congregation_n of_o the_o saint_n he_o labour_v to_o strengthen_v his_o faith_n in_o this_o promise_n by_o ten_o reason_n further_o the_o first_o whereof_o be_v this_o the_o heaven_n be_v a_o evidence_n both_o of_o god_n power_n to_o work_v wonder_n for_o his_o people_n and_o of_o his_o faithfulness_n to_o perform_v promise_n unto_o the_o church_n therefore_o will_v he_o say_v i_o have_v reason_n for_o i_o to_o believe_v this_o promise_n make_v to_o david_n concern_v christ_n kingdom_n whence_o learn_v 1._o the_o consideration_n of_o the_o power_n of_o god_n manifest_v in_o the_o work_n of_o creation_n to_o be_v able_a to_o perform_v whatsoever_o he_o promise_v be_v it_o never_o so_o wonderful_a may_v and_o shall_v confirm_v our_o faith_n in_o his_o promise_n how_o improbable_a soever_o it_o appear_v for_o the_o heaven_n shall_v praise_v thy_o wonder_n o_o lord_n 2._o as_o the_o heaven_n be_v a_o pawn_n of_o god_n power_n in_o respect_n of_o their_o first_o frame_v they_o out_o of_o nothing_o so_o be_v they_o a_o pattern_n of_o god_n faithfulness_n in_o their_o constant_a and_o orderly_a motion_n according_a to_o his_o word_n since_o their_o frame_n the_o heaven_n shall_v praise_v thy_o faithfulness_n also_o 3._o however_o the_o power_n and_o faithfulness_n of_o god_n may_v be_v see_v and_o hear_v in_o the_o work_n and_o speech_n of_o the_o heaven_n by_o all_o man_n yet_o be_v they_o not_o observe_v and_o hearken_v unto_o except_o in_o the_o church_n by_o god_n child_n therefore_o say_v he_o they_o shall_v praise_v thy_o faithfulness_n also_o in_o the_o congregation_n of_o the_o saint_n ver._n 6._o for_o who_o in_o the_o heaven_n can_v be_v compare_v unto_o the_o lord_n who_o among_o the_o son_n of_o the_o mighty_a can_v be_v liken_v unto_o the_o lord_n the_o second_o reason_n to_o confirm_v his_o faith_n be_v this_o god_n be_v above_o all_o angel_n in_o heaven_n and_o man_n on_o earth_n and_o have_v they_o all_o under_o he_o to_o perfect_a by_o they_o what_o work_n he_o please_v and_o presuppose_v they_o have_v a_o mind_n to_o hindet_fw-la any_o purpose_n of_o god_n concern_v performance_n of_o his_o promise_n they_o can_v not_o hinder_v he_o they_o be_v infinite_o inferior_a in_o all_o excellency_n unto_o god_n and_o no_o way_n to_o be_v compare_v with_o he_o therefore_o will_v he_o say_v i_o have_v reason_n to_o believe_v his_o promise_n concern_v the_o stability_n of_o christ_n kingdom_n whence_o learn_v 1._o the_o height_n of_o god_n excellency_n be_v above_o the_o reach_n of_o our_o thought_n and_o we_o can_v take_v he_o up_o otherways_o then_o by_o climb_v up_o upon_o the_o shoulder_n and_o top_n of_o all_o create_a eminency_n and_o there_o to_o proclaim_v god_n to_o be_v great_a than_o they_o all_o for_o who_o in_o heaven_n can_v be_v compare_v unto_o the_o loâ—…d_n who_o among_o the_o son_n of_o the_o mighty_a can_v be_v liken_v unto_o the_o lord_n 2._o god_n have_v give_v power_n natural_a most_o of_o all_o to_o angel_n and_o power_n accessary_a most_o of_o all_o to_o prince_n and_o magistrate_n and_o potentate_n in_o the_o earth_n who_o here_o he_o call_v the_o son_n of_o the_o mighty_a in_o who_o power_n and_o authority_n we_o may_v see_v somewhat_o of_o god_n if_o they_o be_v for_o god_n and_o may_v see_v prince_n to_o be_v nothing_o if_o they_o be_v against_o god_n for_o who_o in_o heaven_n can_v be_v compare_v unto_o the_o lord_n who_o among_o the_o son_n
