say_v that_o *_o etc._n it_o shall_v come_v to_o pass_v at_o that_o time_n that_o i_o will_v search_v say_v he_o jerusalem_n with_o candle_n and_o punish_v the_o man_n that_o be_v thus_o settle_v on_o their_o lees_n and_o therefore_o their_o good_n shall_v become_v a_o booty_n and_o their_o house_n a_o desolation_n then_o he_o add_v in_o the_o next_o verse_n that_o the_o great_a day_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v near_o it_o be_v near_o say_v he_o and_o haste_v great_o which_o be_v a_o day_n of_o wrath_n a_o day_n of_o trouble_n and_o distress_n a_o day_n of_o wasteness_n and_o desolation_n etc._n etc._n three_o because_o most_o common_o the_o judgement_n reason_n that_o god_n lay_v upon_o they_o be_v very_o grievous_a and_o terrible_a and_o then_o *_o 66._o the_o lord_n give_v they_o tremble_a heart_n and_o fail_v of_o eye_n and_o sorrow_n of_o mind_n so_o that_o their_o life_n hang_v in_o doubt_n before_o they_o and_o they_o be_v in_o fear_n day_n and_o night_n have_v no_o assurance_n of_o their_o life_n according_a to_o that_o threaten_v mention_v in_o the_o law_n and_o our_o saviour_n testify_v the_o same_o speak_v of_o the_o great_a judgement_n that_o shall_v fall_v upon_o the_o world_n of_o the_o wicked_a in_o these_o latter_a time_n say_v that_o *_o 25._o then_o there_o shall_v be_v sign_n in_o the_o sun_n and_o in_o the_o moon_n and_o in_o the_o star_n and_o upon_o the_o earth_n distress_n of_o nation_n with_o perplexity_n the_o sea_n and_o the_o wave_n roare_v yea_o saying_n that_o man_n heart_n shall_v fail_v they_o for_o fear_n look_v after_o those_o thing_n which_o be_v come_v on_o the_o earth_n four_o god_n retaliate_v unto_o they_o pay_v reason_n they_o in_o their_o own_o coin_n as_o they_o have_v press_v down_o and_o thereby_o endeavour_v to_o terrify_v most_o of_o the_o best_a servant_n and_o child_n of_o god_n with_o their_o most_o heavy_a and_o tyrannical_a burden_n so_o do_v the_o lord_n pursue_v they_o with_o heavy_a and_o terrify_a plague_n for_o it_o be_v a_o righteous_a thing_n with_o god_n say_v he_o apostle_n to_o *_o 6._o recompense_v tribulation_n to_o they_o that_o trouble_v you_o five_o god_n in_o his_o justice_n will_v have_v his_o hand_n to_o be_v see_v against_o those_o that_o make_v war_n against_o he_o and_o reason_n against_o his_o people_n he_o will_v appear_v in_o his_o anger_n against_o such_o and_o that_o must_v needs_o be_v terrible_a unto_o they_o for_o thus_o say_v the_o lord_n himself_o by_o his_o prophet_n *_o etc._n now_o will_v i_o rise_v sâ—â—th_v he_o now_o will_v i_o be_v exalt_v now_o will_v another_o cause_n of_o their_o terror_n be_v the_o guiltiness_n
