cozen_v in_o half_a the_o worth_n of_o any_o thing_n which_o they_o be_v to_o buy_v yea_o and_o there_o be_v no_o mean_n to_o appease_v they_o but_o they_o will_v needs_o be_v seek_v a_o remedy_n against_o that_o abuse_n and_o yet_o they_o be_v very_o ready_a to_o loose_v their_o soul_n for_o a_o little_a gain_n or_o for_o a_o act_n of_o murmur_v or_o some_o other_o sin_n and_o we_o can_v so_o much_o as_o prevail_v with_o they_o to_o the_o end_n that_o they_o may_v have_v some_o feel_n of_o it_o and_o say_v i_o be_o deceive_v let_v so_o great_a a_o wrong_n as_o this_o be_v remove_v that_o soul_n o_o man_n which_o you_o be_v lose_v be_v more_o worth_a than_o all_o that_o which_o can_v be_v give_v you_o in_o exchange_n thereof_o what_o do_v you_o get_v by_o gain_v it_o all_o if_o you_o way_n from_o our_o own_o house_n reach_v to_o the_o place_n where_o thief_n desire_v to_o cut_v our_o throat_n since_o every_o day_n we_o walk_v on_o more_o and_o more_o and_o it_o be_v no_o whether_o else_o but_o towards_o death_n now_o who_o will_v be_v so_o absurd_o inconsiderate_a as_o that_o when_o he_o be_v to_o be_v conduct_v to_o execution_n and_o that_o much_o haste_n be_v use_v to_o dispatch_v he_o the_o delinquent_n shall_v yet_o fall_v into_o great_a affliction_n because_o lie_v be_v not_o sumptuous_o clad_v or_o who_o in_o such_o a_o case_n will_v attend_v to_o busy_v himself_o about_o hear_v some_o relation_n of_o the_o life_n of_o other_o or_o will_v delight_v himself_o with_o look_v upon_o some_o public_a entertainment_n and_o pastime_n or_o will_v put_v himself_o to_o study_v what_o the_o reason_n may_v be_v why_o man_n put_v not_o of_o their_o hat_n to_o he_o with_o a_o good_a grace_n and_o yet_o how_o many_o do_v we_o see_v through_o our_o sin_n deprive_v of_o all_o sense_n who_o go_v as_o we_o all_o do_v to_o that_o rest_a place_n of_o their_o grave_n yea_o and_o run_v fast_o thither_o than_o any_o arrow_n fly_v out_o of_o a_o bow_n do_v yet_o detain_v themselves_o foolish_o some_o upon_o fine_a clothes_n other_o upon_o a_o certain_a paltry_a smoke_n of_o honour_n and_o other_o who_o grow_v angry_a at_o the_o hart_n because_o just_a that_o which_o they_o desire_v be_v not_o do_v and_o yet_o those_o very_a thing_n which_o they_o desire_v be_v neither_o such_o as_o help_v they_o to_o obtain_v true_a felicity_n not_o hinder_v they_o from_o fall_v into_o eternal_a misery_n what_o in_o the_o name_n of_o god_n be_v this_o which_o have_v so_o blind_v we_o as_o that_o we_o shall_v make_v time_n of_o eternity_n and_o eternity_n of_o time_n for_o so_o have_v man_n despise_v that_o eternal_a bliss_n which_o god_n have_v prepare_v for_o they_o in_o heaven_n as_o if_o it_o be_v but_o temporal_a and_o so_o have_v they_o lodge_v all_o their_o love_n upon_o this_o transitory_a world_n as_o if_o this_o be_v the_o thing_n which_o be_v eternal_a how_o few_o be_v there_o on_o earth_n who_o pass_v through_o it_o like_o stranger_n as_o s._n peter_n say_v we_o must_v 2._o 1._o peteâ—_n 2._o and_o who_o fasten_v their_o heart_n upon_o the_o future_a as_o upon_o their_o city_n and_o true_a place_n of_o rest_n let_v the_o tongue_n say_v what_o it_o will_v but_o our_o work_n proclaim_v we_o to_o be_v citizen_n of_o this_o world_n since_o we_o extreme_o desire_v to_o be_v accommodate_v and_o exalt_v here_o and_o so_o take_v no_o care_n though_o we_o shall_v be_v but_o as_o stranger_n in_o the_o next_o world_n perhaps_o we_o be_v grow_v to_o be_v of_o opinion_n that_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n may_v be_v obtain_v without_o any_o great_a labour_n or_o care_n but_o the_o truth_n be_v that_o even_o they_o who_o take_v most_o pain_n will_v find_v that_o still_o they_o have_v enough_o to_o do_v &_o that_o still_o they_o must_v continue_v in_o doubt_n whether_o it_o will_v serve_v the_o turn_n or_o no_o and_o what_o then_o will_v become_v of_o the_o reckless_a person_n but_o that_o he_o will_v be_v sure_a to_o loose_v it_o apply_v to_o our_o eye_n and_o give_v we_o light_n to_o see_v that_o in_o this_o world_n we_o be_v true_o miserable_a and_o that_o we_o be_v not_o in_o our_o own_o country_n but_o in_o a_o very_a painful_a banishment_n and_o so_o raise_v first_o our_o heart_n to_o heaven_n let_v our_o conversation_n be_v alsoe_o there_o this_o be_v the_o end_n why_o our_o lord_n have_v punish_v you_o that_o he_o be_v wont_a to_o do_v he_o have_v make_v you_o a_o widow_n but_o it_o be_v that_o he_o may_v make_v himself_o your_o father_n since_z father_n of_o the_o forsake_a 67._o psal_n 67._o be_v his_o name_n many_o affliction_n will_v not_o fail_v to_o offer_v themselves_o to_o you_o in_o this_o widowhood_n and_o in_o many_o thing_n you_o will_v find_v the_o want_n of_o he_o who_o be_v wont_a to_o remedy_v you_o in_o they_o and_o in_o many_o of_o your_o friend_n you_o shall_v find_v little_a help_n and_o little_a fidelity_n and_o less_o gratitude_n but_o in_o all_o these_o thing_n god_n will_v have_v you_o make_v recourse_n to_o he_o and_o confer_v with_o he_o about_o the_o trouble_v you_o shall_v be_v in_o and_o that_o as_o with_o a_o true_a father_n you_o ease_v your_o hart_n with_o he_o and_o if_o with_o that_o hart_n you_o call_v upon_o he_o and_o trust_v yourself_o in_o his_o hand_n infallible_o you_o shall_v meet_v with_o a_o sure_a refuge_n in_o all_o your_o difficulty_n and_o a_o perfect_a guide_n in_o all_o your_o way_n and_o in_o any_o time_n without_o your_o know_v by_o who_o mean_n or_o how_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v you_o shall_v find_v your_o business_n do_v to_o your_o hand_n much_o better_a than_o you_o can_v have_v imagine_v and_o you_o shall_v then_o understand_v by_o experience_n how_o great_a a_o friend_n god_n be_v to_o the_o afflict_a and_o how_o true_o he_o dwell_v with_o they_o and_o make_v himself_o a_o solicitor_n of_o their_o cause_n and_o if_o at_o any_o time_n he_o do_v not_o give_v you_o that_o which_o you_o desire_v it_o will_v be_v not_o move_v i_o much_o for_o the_o most_o certain_a of_o all_o be_v that_o which_o we_o do_v after_o the_o example_n of_o christ_n our_o lord_n and_o which_o we_o obtain_v at_o his_o hand_n by_o prayer_n and_o which_o we_o see_v clear_o by_o experience_n and_o not_o that_o which_o on_o the_o other_o side_n we_o take_v to_o be_v convenient_a for_o we_o through_o a_o mere_a human_a and_o perhaps_o a_o perpetual_a kind_n of_o judgement_n who_o can_v doubt_v but_o that_o you_o as_o be_v a_o inhabitant_n of_o that_o city_n and_o withal_o a_o great_a favourer_n of_o my_o meanness_n and_o desire_v much_o that_o i_o shall_v continue_v to_o live_v there_o be_v both_o judge_n and_o witness_n in_o your_o own_o cause_n and_o therefore_o the_o time_n which_o you_o spend_v in_o seek_v reason_n be_v better_o employ_v upon_o make_v devout_a prayer_n and_o it_o will_v happen_v to_o you_o as_o saint_n bernard_n faith_n it_o do_v between_o the_o preacher_n and_o his_o hearer_n if_o thou_o wilâ—_n persuade_v say_v he_o thou_o must_v do_v it_o more_o by_o sigh_v then_o by_o exclaim_v and_o though_o in_o that_o which_o i_o have_v say_v i_o think_v you_o have_v commit_v some_o excess_n yet_o in_o another_o thing_n you_o have_v the_o better_a of_o it_o and_o you_o edify_v i_o namely_o in_o your_o have_v write_v three_o letter_n to_o i_o without_o have_v receive_v any_o one_o answer_n of_o i_o i_o esteem_v this_o favour_n as_o much_o more_o than_o speak_v by_o word_n of_o mouth_n as_o there_o be_v difference_n between_o do_v and_o say_v
