honesty_n charge_v prince_n to_o keep_v their_o oath_n and_o contract_n there_o be_v nothing_o become_v they_o better_o nothing_o commend_v they_o more_o and_o nothing_o that_o man_n require_v so_o much_o at_o their_o hand_n in_o the_o last_o place_n prince_n oath_n to_o and_o contract_n with_o their_o subject_n and_o ally_n be_v as_o good_a as_o law_n they_o have_v the_o same_o force_n as_o law_n they_o have_v the_o same_o strength_n and_o virtue_n against_o their_o successor_n which_o they_o have_v against_o themselves_o nay_o let_v i_o tell_v you_o that_o they_o be_v of_o great_a strength_n than_o prince_n law_n for_o law_n may_v be_v repeal_v but_o contract_n can_v never_o be_v revoke_v and_o why_o so_o the_o reason_n be_v plain_a that_o law_n may_v alter_v according_a to_o the_o necessity_n of_o affair_n but_o contract_n and_o oath_n can_v never_o be_v revoke_v they_o admit_v of_o no_o change_n no_o alteration_n if_o once_o perfect_v they_o can_v neither_o receive_v addition_n substraction_n diminution_n or_o enlargement_n they_o must_v not_o be_v wrest_v but_o take_v according_a to_o the_o true_a meaning_n of_o king_n and_o people_n but_o sir_n you_o may_v say_v why_o may_v not_o prince_n break_v their_o oath_n and_o dissolve_v their_o contract_n make_v with_o their_o subject_n at_o their_o coronation_n to_o this_o i_o give_v you_o this_o answer_n before_o you_o have_v swear_v to_o maintain_v our_o law_n liberty_n and_o religion_n you_o be_v free_a and_o before_o you_o make_v a_o covenant_n with_o we_o you_o be_v at_o your_o liberty_n but_o when_o you_o have_v swear_v and_o when_o you_o have_v perfect_v your_o contract_n then_o of_o necessity_n you_o be_v bind_v to_o keep_v and_o perform_v
