to_o this_o end_n that_o when_o we_o call_v upon_o he_o by_o prayer_n we_o may_v learn_v to_o lyfte_fw-mi up_o our_o mind_n &_o to_o withdraw_v our_o imaginacyon_n from_o think_v any_o thing_n of_o he_o worldly_a or_o earthly_a &_o that_o we_o shall_v not_o measure_v he_o by_o our_o fleshly_a judgement_n and_o so_o make_v he_o subject_a or_o appliable_a to_o our_o will_n or_o appetyte_v but_o rather_o that_o we_o may_v with_o all_o humbleness_n of_o mind_n honour_v his_o excellent_a majesty_n and_o also_o that_o we_o may_v have_v occasion_n to_o put_v so_o much_o the_o more_o our_o trust_n assure_o in_o he_o consider_v that_o he_o be_v lord_n and_o master_n of_o all_o ¶_o the_o minister_n sunday_n 39_o make_v a_o exposition_n of_o the_o first_o petition_n ¶_o the_o child_n peti_fw-la in_o itself_o glory_n in_o what_o sense_n we_o wish_v the_o set_n forth_o of_o god_n glory_n but_o the_o mean_v hereof_o be_v that_o it_o may_v be_v know_v as_o it_o ought_v to_o be_v and_o that_o all_o the_o work_v which_o god_n do_v may_v appear_v unto_o man_n to_o be_v glorious_a and_o worthy_a of_o high_a praise_n even_o as_o they_o be_v in_o very_a deed_n so_o that_o he_o may_v by_o all_o mean_n be_v magnify_v ¶_o the_o minister_n peti_fw-la ∣_o tion_n the_o second_o what_o do_v thou_o mean_v in_o the_o second_o request_n by_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n ¶_o the_o child_n this_o kingdom_n consy_v pryncypallye_o in_o two_o point_n consist_v wherein_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n consist_v that_o be_v to_o say_v first_o in_o that_o he_o guyde_v and_o govern_v his_o elect_a through_o his_o holy_a spiryte_n and_o again_o in_o that_o he_o destroy_v &_o bring_v to_o utter_v shame_n &_o confusion_n the_o wicked_a which_o will_v not_o become_v subject_n to_o his_o kingdom_n to_o the_o end_n that_o it_o may_v evidentlye_o appear_v that_o there_o be_v no_o power_n able_a to_o withstand_v his_o incomparable_a may_v ¶_o the_o minister_n what_o understand_v thou_o in_o pray_v that_o this_o kingdom_n may_v come_v ¶_o the_o child_n the_o meaning_n be_v that_o it_o will_v please_v god_n from_o day_n to_o day_n to_o increase_v the_o number_n of_o his_o faithful_a flock_n christ_n the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n that_o he_o will_v continual_o more_o and_o more_o show_v forth_o his_o favour_n in_o bestow_v the_o gift_n of_o his_o holy_a spirit_n among_o they_o until_o the_o time_n come_v in_o which_o they_o shall_v be_v ful_o replenish_v that_o it_o may_v also_o please_v he_o to_o cause_v the_o light_n of_o his_o truth_n more_o &_o more_o to_o shine_v amongst_o we_o that_o he_o will_v in_o such_o wise_n make_v his_o justice_n to_o be_v know_v that_o the_o devyll_n and_o his_o kingdom_n of_o darkness_n may_v come_v to_o utter_v confusion_n and_o that_o all_o wickedness_n may_v be_v clean_o abolish_v &_o root_v out_o ¶_o the_o minister_n be_v nor_o this_o request_n perform_v in_o this_o world_n ¶_o the_o child_n it_o be_v partly_o fulfyl_v already_o kingdom_n the_o perfeict_n state_n of_o christ_n kingdom_n yet_o our_o duty_n be_v to_o desire_v that_o it_o may_v be_v continual_o increase_v and_o that_o he_o will_v avaunce_v still_o and_o further_o his_o kingdom_n unto_o such_o time_n as_o it_o
