to_o cause_v it_o to_o believe_v the_o thing_n that_o be_v give_v she_o of_o god_n then_o second_o note_n the_o object_n of_o this_o persuasion_n by_o the_o promise_n be_v double_a and_o therefore_o the_o object_n of_o persuasion_n by_o the_o seal_n be_v double_a first_o persuasion_n of_o the_o soul_n that_o she_o be_v true_o the_o lord_n true_o call_v regenerate_v and_o bear_v of_o god_n that_o be_v to_o say_v reconcile_v to_o he_o and_o renew_v in_o he_o second_o persuasion_n that_o she_o grow_v in_o the_o grace_n of_o the_o new_a birth_n and_o shall_v grow_v as_o a_o lively_a member_n of_o her_o head_n till_o she_o receive_v the_o fullness_n of_o that_o part_n that_o god_n be_v the_o author_n of_o both_o persuasion_n appear_v by_o the_o two_o main_a head_n of_o unbelief_n which_o former_o i_o note_v to_o reside_v in_o the_o soul_n first_o that_o she_o dare_v not_o believe_v at_o all_o that_o the_o promise_n of_o mercy_n reach_v to_o she_o second_o that_o she_o dare_v not_o believe_v that_o she_o shall_v ever_o reach_v to_o any_o further_a degree_n of_o sanctification_n than_o she_o present_o feel_v both_o these_o the_o lord_n in_o his_o double_a persuasion_n confute_v the_o three_o thing_n be_v the_o spirit_n therefore_o apply_v itself_o to_o both_o these_o yet_o not_o always_o in_o one_o and_o the_o same_o measure_n of_o persuade_v but_o according_a to_o the_o need_n or_o proportion_n of_o each_o part_n by_o the_o promise_n of_o the_o word_n sometime_o it_o work_v more_o sometime_o less_o persuasion_n as_o seem_v best_a to_o himself_o and_o so_o by_o the_o seal_n of_o the_o sacrament_n he_o do_v likewise_o work_v weak_a or_o strong_a assurance_n for_o though_o there_o be_v a_o persuade_a power_n in_o a_o high_a degree_n in_o both_o yet_o the_o spirit_n be_v no_o servant_n to_o his_o ordinance_n but_o his_o ordinance_n to_o he_o they_o shall_v persuade_v more_o or_o less_o according_a as_o that_o power_n of_o christ_n which_o the_o spirit_n
