any_o under-tenant_n shall_v be_v distrain_v for_o any_o sum_n to_o be_v assess_v by_o virtue_n of_o this_o ordinance_n which_o the_o landlord_n ought_v to_o pay_v according_a to_o the_o purport_n and_o true_a meaning_n hereof_o then_o it_o shall_v be_v lawful_a for_o such_o tenant_n to_o deduct_v such_o sum_n out_o of_o the_o next_o payment_n of_o his_o rent_n and_o this_o ordinance_n shall_v be_v his_o discharge_n and_o if_o no_o sufficient_a distress_n be_v find_v than_o the_o say_a collector_n respective_o shall_v have_v power_n to_o inquire_v of_o any_o sum_n or_o sum_n of_o money_n due_a or_o to_o be_v due_a unto_o the_o person_n respective_o so_o assess_v as_o aforesaid_a from_o any_o person_n or_o person_n for_o any_o rent_n tithe_n good_n or_o debt_n or_o for_o any_o other_o thing_n or_o cause_n whatsoever_o and_o to_o compound_v any_o of_o the_o say_a rent_n tithe_n good_n or_o debt_n due_a unto_o the_o say_a person_n so_o assess_v respective_o as_o aforesaid_a with_o any_o person_n or_o person_n by_o who_o the_o say_a rent_n tithe_n good_n or_o debt_n be_v or_o shall_v be_v owe_v as_o also_o to_o give_v full_a and_o ample_a discharge_n for_o the_o money_n by_o they_o so_o receive_v upon_o composition_n or_o otherwise_o which_o discharge_n shall_v be_v good_a and_o effectual_a to_o all_o intent_n and_o purpose_n and_o be_v it_o further_o ordain_v that_o if_o so_o assess_v and_o rate_v as_o aforesaid_a shall_v conceal_v or_o convey_v away_o his_o or_o their_o good_n so_o that_o no_o distress_n can_v be_v take_v or_o that_o the_o say_a sum_n or_o sum_n so_o assess_v upon_o he_o can_v be_v have_v or_o levy_v by_o any_o the_o way_n or_o mean_n in_o this_o ordinance_n mention_v than_o the_o say_a collector_n shall_v respective_o certify_v the_o same_o to_o the_o committee_n of_o the_o commons_o house_n in_o parliament_n for_o examination_n who_o shall_v hereby_o have_v power_n to_o send_v for_o such_o person_n or_o person_n as_o delinquent_n and_o to_o commit_v he_o or_o they_o prisoner_n to_o such_o place_n or_o place_n within_o this_o kingdom_n and_o for_o so_o long_a time_n as_o the_o say_a committee_n shall_v by_o the_o say_a ordinance_n protect_v by_o both_o house_n of_o parliament_n from_o all_o damage_n that_o may_v come_v to_o they_o or_o any_o of_o they_o by_o this_o service_n and_o shall_v further_o receive_v such_o allowance_n for_o their_o pain_n and_o charge_n in_o the_o execution_n of_o the_o premise_n as_o the_o committee_n of_o lord_n &_o commons_o for_o advance_v of_o money_n and_o other_o necessary_n for_o the_o
