before_o set_v down_o in_o the_o chapter_n at_o least_o they_o must_v approve_v of_o that_o which_o be_v the_o principal_a thing_n in_o jaddus_n answer_n for_o when_o the_o thing_n that_o alexander_n make_v annual_a king_n if_o he_o please_v and_o yet_o their_o authority_n will_v be_v as_o sacred_a and_o inviolable_a as_o any_o king_n whatsoever_o it_o will_v be_v no_o excuse_n for_o a_o man_n ambitious_a attempt_n which_o god_n can_v so_o easy_o defeat_v but_o they_o can_v be_v ignorant_a how_o easy_o god_n can_v defeat_v their_o attempt_n whether_o they_o know_v of_o this_o doctrine_n or_o no_o they_o observe_v that_o kingdom_n be_v lose_v and_o king_n dethrone_v in_o all_o age_n of_o the_o world_n and_o when_o they_o have_v power_n in_o their_o hand_n they_o be_v apt_a to_o promise_v themselves_o success_n without_o the_o hope_n of_o any_o authority_n but_o what_o they_o can_v gain_v by_o the_o sword_n and_o when_o they_o be_v inform_v that_o if_o they_o have_v but_o success_n god_n will_v give_v they_o a_o right_n which_o will_v oblige_v all_o the_o subject_n in_o their_o defence_n against_o all_o opposition_n they_o will_v be_v much_o more_o forward_a and_o desirous_a to_o try_v their_o fortune_n and_o see_v what_o success_n they_o can_v meet_v with_o and_o crown_n will_v be_v look_v upon_o by_o bold_a and_o aspire_a man_n as_o so_o many_o prize_v propose_v for_o the_o reward_n of_o victory_n and_o to_o this_o there_o will_v be_v need_n of_o no_o great_a do_v of_o enthusiasm_n though_o enthusiasm_n be_v no_o unusual_a thing_n in_o such_o case_n for_o most_o of_o the_o ambitious_a spirit_n have_v either_o flatter_v themselves_o or_o at_o least_o make_v their_o follower_n believe_v that_o god_n will_v prosper_v their_o undertake_n that_o they_o be_v do_v god_n work_n and_o that_o he_o have_v ordain_v they_o success_n in_o their_o attempt_n or_o if_o they_o shall_v not_o be_v so_o enthusiastic_a yet_o this_o will_v be_v too_o great_a encouragement_n to_o they_o that_o if_o god_n will_v permit_v they_o to_o have_v that_o success_n which_o so_o many_o other_o have_v have_v before_o they_o in_o as_o wicked_a design_n he_o will_v be_v sure_a to_o crown_v it_o with_o his_o own_o authority_n but_o to_o what_o may_v be_v allege_v of_o this_o doctrin_n be_v inconvenient_a and_o dangerous_a to_o prince_n he_o say_v that_o the_o contrary_a doctrine_n be_v much_o more_o dangerous_a to_o subject_n when_o such_o revolution_n happen_v but_o beside_o that_o a_o doctrine_n which_o be_v dangerous_a to_o prince_n can_v be_v no_o though_o not_o altogether_o in_o so_o great_a a_o degree_n but_o the_o objector_n do_v not_o think_v it_o a_o sufficient_a confutation_n of_o the_o doctrine_n of_o nonresistance_n and_o passive_a obedience_n 34._o p._n 34._o to_o say_v that_o this_o put_v it_o into_o the_o king_n power_n to_o invade_v the_o law_n and_o liberty_n the_o life_n and_o fortune_n of_o his_o subject_n at_o pleasure_n power_n can_v have_v his_o authority_n then_o how_o come_v the_o nature_n of_o thing_n to_o be_v change_v so_o in_o the_o case_n of_o joash_n and_o athaliah_n that_o joash_n upon_o his_o first_o appearance_n have_v a_o immediate_a right_n to_o the_o allegiance_n of_o the_o subject_n and_o athaliah_n even_o without_o dispossession_n lose_v all_o her_o authority_n but_o she_o be_v dispossess_v i_o grant_v it_o but_o the_o argument_n proceed_v not_o upon_o her_o dispossession_n but_o upon_o the_o first_o appearance_n of_o the_o true_a heir_n and_o suppose_n as_o the_o doctor_n acknowledge_v
