his_o work_n so_o much_o the_o more_o violent_o and_o wicked_o as_o he_o see_v himself_o like_a to_o be_v overcome_v as_o be_v here_o to_o be_v see_v in_o the_o pharisee_n 3._o such_o as_o fall_v in_o oppose_a christ_n ready_o grow_v worse_o and_o worse_o till_o they_o come_v to_o a_o height_n as_o may_v be_v perceive_v in_o these_o proud_a man_n 4._o how_o impudent_a and_o malicious_a be_v the_o devil_n and_o how_o desperate_a be_v his_o slave_n who_o dare_v call_v christ_n by_o the_o name_n of_o beelzebub_n verse_n 25._o and_o jesus_n know_v their_o thought_n and_o say_v unto_o they_o and_o will_v be_v loath_a real_o and_o in_o effect_n whole_o to_o dispossess_v himself_o both_o of_o the_o soul_n and_o body_n of_o any_o in_o who_o he_o have_v power_n and_o place_n for_o if_o satan_n cast_v out_o satan_n how_o shall_v his_o kingdom_n stand_v ver._n 17._o and_o if_o i_o by_o beelzebub_n cast_v out_o devil_n by_o who_o do_v your_o child_n cast_v they_o out_o therefore_o they_o shall_v be_v your_o judge_n the_o second_o reason_n for_o clear_v of_o christ_n and_o convince_a his_o adversary_n be_v this_o you_o grant_v that_o your_o child_n and_o carnal_a friend_n when_o least_o esteem_v of_o by_o god_n but_o such_o as_o have_v no_o confidence_n in_o their_o own_o work_n shall_v be_v first_o take_v notice_n of_o and_o most_o liberal_o deal_v with_o thus_o the_o last_o shall_v be_v first_o and_o the_o first_o shall_v be_v last_o a_o reason_n whereof_o be_v give_v from_o the_o paucity_n of_o the_o elect_n in_o comparison_n of_o the_o great_a number_n of_o these_o who_o be_v external_o call_v but_o not_o elect_v herein_o give_v we_o to_o understand_v that_o it_o be_v grace_n to_o be_v employ_v in_o any_o service_n or_o suffering_n for_o christ_n with_o any_o sincerity_n and_o it_o be_v grace_n to_o have_v a_o low_a estimation_n of_o ourselves_o and_o of_o whatsoever_o we_o do_v or_o suffer_v for_o the_o gospel_n as_o also_o to_o have_v our_o person_n &_o blessedness_n and_o not_o from_o any_o good_a thing_n in_o the_o person_n and_o here_o let_v we_o remember_v that_o neither_o similitude_n nor_o parable_n be_v to_o be_v follow_v further_a than_o the_o scope_n and_o intention_n of_o the_o speaker_n true_a it_o be_v that_o many_o witty_a similitude_n may_v be_v make_v here_o to_o represent_v god_n care_n of_o his_o church_n man_n â—_o duty_n in_o serve_v god_n in_o their_o calling_n god_n encourage_v man_n to_o work_v by_o set_v before_o they_o a_o reward_n god_n call_v of_o some_o man_n in_o their_o youth_n some_o in_o their_o old_a day_n the_o distribute_v to_o every_o man_n the_o reward_n of_o his_o work_n after_o this_o life_n be_v end_v and_o such_o like_a but_o these_o doctrine_n be_v not_o sound_o ground_v on_o this_o place_n wherein_o the_o scope_n only_o be_v to_o be_v the_o rule_n of_o the_o exposition_n wherefore_o if_o a_o man_n once_o depart_v he_o may_v easilyfal_v not_o only_o in_o impertinent_a question_n
