notwithstanding_o we_o have_v diligent_o to_o observe_v what_o manner_n of_o joy_n it_o be_v that_o he_o injoin_v unto_o they_o for_o in_o as_o much_o as_o he_o have_v promise_v abundance_n of_o fruit_n &_o be_v to_o say_v yet_o more_o of_o that_o matter_n some_o may_v conceive_v in_o their_o heart_n a_o carnal_a joy_n and_o by_o that_o occasion_n break_v forth_o into_o all_o licentiousness_n which_o thing_n common_o be_v wont_a to_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o great_a misery_n and_o mourning_n he_o say_v therefore_o be_v glad_a and_o rejoice_v in_o the_o lord_n your_o god_n lord_n the_o godly_a aught_o to_o rejoice_v in_o the_o lord_n and_o so_o he_o point_v the_o cause_n and_o matter_n of_o their_o reioycement_n only_o and_o alone_o in_o god_n who_o they_o shall_v find_v the_o hebrew_n word_n signify_v both_o a_o teacher_n and_o rain_n for_o as_o it_o behoove_v the_o earth_n to_o be_v water_v with_o rain_n so_o be_v it_o necessary_a that_o the_o river_n of_o heavenlye_a doctrine_n shall_v flow_v into_o the_o mind_n of_o man_n be_v otherwise_o barren_a and_o out_o of_o kilter_n to_o the_o end_n they_o may_v be_v make_v fit_n for_o those_o thing_n that_o be_v prescribe_v unto_o we_o of_o the_o lord_n whether_o it_o belong_v that_o god_n compare_v his_o word_n in_o esay_n to_o the_o rain_n 55._o esay_n 55._o but_o the_o prophet_n use_v a_o doubtful_a word_n because_o he_o will_v allude_v to_o the_o calamity_n of_o the_o present_a war_n which_o like_v unto_o a_o sudden_a storm_n of_o rain_n overflow_v the_o whole_a land_n and_o he_o tell_v they_o that_o this_o be_v send_v from_o god_n not_o that_o they_o shall_v perish_v but_o that_o they_o shall_v be_v instruct_v hereby_o unto_o righteousness_n and_o be_v make_v more_o ware_n and_o circumspect_a hereafter_o for_o as_o we_o say_v in_o the_o beginning_n the_o jew_n under_o ezechias_n a_o most_o excellent_a and_o godly_a prince_n sin_v diverse_a way_n when_o as_o they_o both_o follow_v a_o most_o dissolute_a trade_n of_o life_n and_o also_o clean_o contrary_a to_o the_o threaten_n of_o the_o prophet_n trust_v to_o the_o league_n of_o the_o egyptian_n therefore_o god_n send_v unto_o they_o the_o assyrian_n to_o the_o intent_n that_o be_v by_o they_o drive_v into_o extreme_a hazard_n they_o may_v be_v teach_v how_o vain_a and_o hurtful_a and_o that_o confidence_n be_v which_o be_v repose_v in_o the_o external_a help_n the_o prophet_n therefore_o bid_v they_o to_o rejoice_v for_o this_o very_a cause_n that_o god_n by_o such_o affliction_n vouchsafe_v to_o affliction_n wherewith_o god_n exercise_v us._n righteousness_n affliction_n be_v as_o teacher_n unto_o righteousness_n they_o be_v as_o teacher_n which_o instruct_v we_o unto_o righteousness_n for_o
