differ_v much_o but_o in_o respect_n of_o their_o soul_n they_o be_v all_o uniform_a whence_o chrysostome_n upon_o this_o place_n though_o he_o be_v a_o apostle_n though_o a_o prophet_n though_o a_o evangelist_n this_o subjection_n do_v not_o overthrow_v piety_n whence_o in_o appear_v that_o no_o man_n upon_o what_o pretence_n soever_o who_o be_v under_o another_o jurisdiction_n can_v free_v himself_o from_o the_o government_n of_o the_o civil_a magistrate_n whether_o he_o be_v clergy_n or_o lay_v rich_a or_o poor_a learned_a or_o unlearned_a no_o condition_n excuse_v he_o from_o obedience_n these_o name_v famous_a patriarch_n and_o as_o it_o appear_v afterward_o more_o excellent_a than_o king_n abimilech_n himself_o yet_o confess_v humble_o that_o even_o to_o death_n they_o be_v subject_a whilst_o they_o be_v under_o his_o jurisdiction_n who_o more_o worthy_a than_o christ_n yet_o he_o subject_v himself_o to_o caesar_n and_o pilate_n impious_a magistrate_n it_o be_v then_o a_o unworthy_a thing_n for_o any_o man_n to_o exempt_v himself_o from_o the_o civil_a power_n under_o pretence_n of_o sanctity_n or_o religion_n or_o any_o prerogative_n for_o this_o be_v flat_a repugnant_a to_o paul_n general_a maxim_n that_o every_o soul_n shall_v be_v subject_a none_o except_v the_o three_o thing_n be_v that_o he_o command_v subjection_n in_o all_o and_o obedience_n to_o magistrate_n so_o that_o he_o will_v not_o have_v they_o resist_v not_o only_o for_o punishment_n but_o also_o sore_a consoience_n because_o he_o that_o resist_v the_o magistrate_n resist_v the_o ordinance_n of_o god_n and_o hasten_v judgement_n against_o himself_o which_o to_o do_v be_v against_o a_o good_a conscience_n all_o these_o be_v emphatical_a and_o show_v how_o absolute_a the_o civil_a power_n be_v over_o all_o and_o in_o all_o thing_n because_o absolute_o it_o command_v all_o without_o exception_n to_o be_v subject_n and_o absolute_o command_v subjection_n without_o any_o restriction_n wherefore_o if_o there_o have_v be_v so_o many_o case_n in_o which_o subjection_n be_v not_o to_o be_v give_v to_o magistrate_n suppose_v in_o spiritual_a and_o ecclesiastic_a matter_n
