must_v not_o thence_o conclude_v that_o there_o be_v no_o more_o for_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a that_o two_o midwife_n shall_v be_v sufficient_a for_o this_o employment_n among_o so_o many_o may_v happy_o be_v question_v how_o it_o can_v be_v say_v that_o the_o king_n of_o egypt_n will_v not_o let_v they_o go_v no_o not_o by_o a_o mighty_a hand_n since_o it_o be_v evident_a that_o he_o do_v give_v they_o leave_v to_o go_v chap._n 12._o 31._o and_o so_o the_o lord_n tell_v moses_n here_o in_o the_o follow_a word_n i_o will_v stretch_v out_o my_o hand_n and_o smite_v egypt_n etc._n be_v to_o assure_v both_o moses_n and_o the_o israelite_n that_o god_n can_v and_o will_v make_v his_o shepherd_n crook_n so_o base_a and_o contemptible_a in_o itself_o terrible_a as_o a_o serpent_n to_o pharaoh_n but_o comfortable_a to_o the_o israelite_n that_o be_v that_o the_o rod_n of_o his_o government_n shall_v affright_v the_o one_o but_o be_v the_o mean_n of_o much_o good_a and_o two_o first_o verse_n be_v to_o show_v that_o the_o law_n which_o moses_n do_v now_o repeat_v and_o explain_v to_o the_o israelite_n in_o the_o plain_n of_o moab_n be_v no_o other_o but_o the_o very_a same_o for_o substance_n which_o he_o have_v former_o give_v they_o at_o sinai_n or_o in_o several_a place_n as_o they_o travel_v through_o the_o wilderness_n from_o the_o red_a sea_n to_o the_o
