be_v no_o communion_n between_o light_n and_o darkness_n no_o kindred_n between_o christ_n and_o belial_n or_o the_o child_n of_o belial_n such_o as_o all_o profane_a and_o wicked_a man_n be_v so_o long_o as_o thou_o be_v such_o a_o one_o never_o say_v thou_o belive_v in_o christ_n never_o think_v nor_o persuade_v thyself_o vain_o that_o thou_o have_v union_n with_o he_o or_o any_o part_n in_o he_o never_o think_v that_o thou_o be_v of_o his_o kindred_n by_o faith_n christ_n have_v no_o such_o kindred_n or_o brethren_n he_o have_v no_o profane_a swearer_n to_o be_v his_o brethren_n no_o drunkard_n no_o unchaste_a filthy_a adulterer_n etc._n etc._n if_o thou_o be_v of_o this_o rank_n thou_o be_v one_o of_o the_o devil_n kindred_n yea_o thou_o be_v a_o child_n of_o he_o one_o of_o christ_n kindred_n by_o faith_n i_o mean_v such_o as_o make_v show_n of_o some_o kind_n of_o obedience_n to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n but_o it_o be_v no_o true_a or_o sincere_a obedience_n no_o such_o as_o true_a faith_n bring_v forth_o some_o be_v content_a to_o obey_v in_o some_o thing_n but_o not_o in_o all_o like_o herod_n mark_n 6._o 20._o so_o far_o as_o may_v stand_v with_o their_o pleasure_n or_o profit_n they_o will_v conform_v in_o show_n to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n and_o to_o his_o word_n but_o no_o further_o if_o there_o be_v a_o special_a darling_n sin_n which_o be_v most_o please_a or_o profitable_a to_o they_o that_o they_o will_v not_o forsake_v though_o they_o be_v often_o teach_v that_o it_o be_v forbid_v and_o condemn_v in_o the_o word_n of_o god_n other_o make_v show_v of_o obedience_n to_o the_o word_n of_o god_n for_o a_o time_n or_o now_o and_o then_o by_o fit_n do_v some_o good_a duty_n or_o begin_v some_o good_a course_n but_o they_o be_v not_o constant_a therein_o they_o begin_v in_o the_o spirit_n and_o end_n in_o the_o flesh_n their_o goodness_n be_v like_o the_o morning_n dew_n as_o the_o prophet_n hosea_n complain_v of_o ephraim_n and_o judah_n hos_n 6._o 4._o other_o again_o show_v outward_a conformity_n to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n but_o obey_v not_o from_o the_o heart_n they_o do_v not_o yield_v god_n the_o obedience_n of_o the_o whole_a man_n all_o these_o sort_n come_v short_a of_o that_o true_a and_o sincere_a obedience_n to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n which_o be_v and_o aught_o to_o be_v show_v forth_o by_o all_o that_o have_v kindred_n with_o christ_n by_o faith_n therefore_o let_v every_o one_o examine_v what_o obedience_n they_o yield_v to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n for_o if_o it_o be_v no_o better_o than_o this_o before_o name_v it_o can_v be_v no_o sure_a evidence_n to_o they_o of_o the_o soundness_n of_o their_o faith_n nor_o of_o their_o spiritual_a kindred_n with_o christ_n use_v 3_o use_v 3._o labour_v to_o approve_v ourselves_o to_o have_v spiritual_a kindred_n with_o christ_n by_o faith_n by_o make_v conscience_n of_o sincere_a obedience_n to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n in_o our_o life_n let_v none_o rest_v in_o a_o naked_a profession_n of_o faith_n but_o be_v careful_a to_o show_v it_o by_o the_o fruit_n of_o good_a work_n and_o by_o do_v the_o will_n of_o god_n see_v matth._n 7._o 21._o it_o be_v a_o dead_a faith_n that_o be_v separate_v from_o good_a work_n and_o from_o obedience_n to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n such_o a_o faith_n can_v never_o unite_v one_o to_o christ_n nor_o make_v he_o to_o be_v of_o his_o spiritual_a kindred_n beware_v therefore_o of_o rest_v in_o this_o dead_a counterfeit_a faith_n of_o hypocrite_n and_o labour_n to_o show_v forth_o the_o power_n and_o life_n of_o a_o true_a faith_n by_o thy_o care_n and_o conscience_n to_o do_v the_o will_n of_o god_n in_o thy_o life_n thus_o shall_v thou_o prove_v to_o other_o and_o to_o thy_o own_o conscience_n that_o thou_o be_v one_o of_o christ_n brethren_n and_o kindred_n look_v therefore_o unto_o this_o and_o be_v careful_a of_o it_o those_o that_o have_v alliance_n or_o kindred_n with_o great_a person_n love_v to_o speak_v of_o their_o pedigree_n and_o to_o have_v it_o know_v to_o other_o and_o therefore_o they_o will_v sometime_o have_v it_o draw_v out_o fair_a in_o table_n or_o set_v down_o in_o writing_n that_o they_o may_v show_v it_o to_o other_o but_o in_o vain_a be_v it_o for_o any_o to_o show_v their_o natural_a pedigree_n and_o kindred_n with_o great_a person_n if_o they_o can_v show_v their_o spiritual_a kindred_n with_o christ_n by_o true_a faith_n and_o by_o sincere_a obedience_n to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n which_o be_v the_o unseparable_a fruit_n and_o companion_n of_o true_a faith_n let_v every_o
therefore_o though_o the_o sentence_n be_v not_o speedy_o execute_v upon_o they_o in_o this_o life_n for_o their_o evil_a work_n yet_o let_v they_o not_o be_v secure_a but_o know_v that_o though_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n be_v defer_v in_o this_o life_n yet_o it_o shall_v certain_o come_v upon_o they_o at_o that_o great_a day_n of_o the_o lord_n wrath_n if_o they_o prevent_v it_o not_o by_o
