thing_n 7._o whether_o they_o have_v assess_v the_o inhabitant_n and_o occupier_n of_o land_n etc._n etc._n in_o their_o parish_n viz._n all_o such_o as_o be_v of_o ability_n and_o with_o indifferency_n 8._o whether_o they_o have_v endeavour_v to_o levy_v and_o gather_v such_o assessment_n 9_o whether_o they_o have_v be_v any_o way_n negligent_a in_o their_o office_n in_o execute_v the_o justice_n warrant_n about_o any_o thing_n touch_v their_o office_n and_o if_o any_o churchwarden_n or_o overseer_n shall_v refuse_v to_o give_v up_o his_o account_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o to_o other_o man_n within_o the_o parish_n take_v all_o the_o horse_n mare_n and_o ox_n that_o be_v in_o cart_n and_o wagon_n load_v draw_v through_o the_o parish_n that_o be_v over_o and_o above_o five_o horse_n or_o mare_n or_o six_o ox_n and_o one_o horse_n in_o one_o cart_n or_o wagon_n and_o plough_n supernutrerarie_a cattle_n in_o a_o plough_n if_o the_o owner_n do_v not_o within_o seven_o day_n after_o the_o take_v thereof_o pay_v twenty_o shilling_n to_o the_o parish_n wherein_o they_o be_v take_v for_o every_o ox_n mare_n or_o horse_n over_o and_o above_o the_o number_n aforesaid_a with_o street_n or_o watercourse_n to_o pay_v for_o workman_n and_o plough_n and_o to_o do_v other_o thing_n to_o be_v do_v by_o this_o ordinance_n 14._o those_o rate_n and_o distress_n distress_n penalty_n these_o surveyor_n or_o any_o of_o they_o may_v levy_v by_o distress_n and_o sale_n of_o good_n of_o the_o party_n by_o a_o warrant_n from_o any_o one_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n and_o for_o lack_v of_o distress_n or_o not_o payment_n thereof_o within_o ten_o day_n after_o demand_v make_v or_o leave_v in_o writing_n under_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o surveyor_n or_o either_o of_o they_o at_o his_o commit_v he_o to_o gaol_n without_o bail_n till_o he_o make_v such_o account_n and_o payment_n and_o such_o satisfaction_n to_o the_o parish_n for_o the_o wrong_n as_o any_o one_o justice_n of_o the_o he_o may_v perhaps_o have_v a_o special_a action_n of_o the_o case_n against_o he_o for_o this_o neglect_n 4._o and_o as_o to_o their_o demeanour_n in_o their_o office_n 1._o they_o must_v in_o the_o execution_n of_o their_o office_n pursue_v the_o order_n prescribe_v by_o the_o law_n in_o every_o particular_a otherwise_o they_o may_v be_v liable_a to_o action_n for_o what_o they_o do_v as_o be_v arrest_v by_o the_o officer_n and_o escape_v into_o another_o parish_n there_o upon_o a_o fresh_a suit_n he_o may_v follow_v he_o and_o take_v he_o there_o and_o yet_o let_v the_o officer_n be_v well_o advise_v herein_o for_o we_o can_v assure_v he_o that_o the_o law_n will_v excuse_v he_o in_o these_o case_n 2._o no_o officer_n may_v arrest_v the_o person_n of_o a_o minister_n go_v to_o or_o return_v from_o his_o church_n in_o a_o ordinary_a course_n about_o the_o service_n of_o god_n much_o less_o when_o and_o while_o he_o be_v exercise_v about_o divine_a thing_n 3._o and_o yet_o in_o the_o arrest_n of_o any_o other_o man_n while_o he_o be_v at_o church_n be_v punishable_a by_o justice_n of_o peace_n yet_o the_o arrest_n be_v good_a not_o actionable_a but_o a_o arrest_n of_o a_o man_n go_v to_o or_o come_v from_o church_n on_o a_o weekday_n be_v very_o lawful_a 5._o that_o after_o he_o have_v arrest_v he_o or_o attach_v his_o good_n he_o do_v not_o abuse_v he_o or_o they_o treasurer_n of_o the_o county_n choose_v what_o they_o be_v and_o how_o they_o be_v
such_o like_a case_n a_o man_n may_v justify_v the_o arrest_v of_o the_o party_n suspect_v 3._o what_o shall_v be_v say_v a_o sufficient_a cause_n of_o suspicion_n trial_n trial_n what_o not_o &_o
