order_n rite_n and_o ceremony_n be_v not_o of_o necessity_n to_o be_v in_o every_o church_n because_o there_o be_v no_o such_o order_n witness_v by_o the_o holy_a scripture_n to_o be_v of_o necessity_n but_o touch_v the_o joint_n and_o several_a function_n of_o bishop_n pastor_n and_o elder_n that_o they_o or_o any_o of_o they_o shall_v in_o any_o age_n or_o state_n of_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n be_v want_v or_o that_o such_o office_n as_o by_o warrant_n of_o the_o scripture_n be_v couple_v together_o shall_v be_v appoint_v to_o execute_v any_o function_n in_o the_o church_n than_o such_o person_n only_o as_o for_o their_o function_n have_v warrant_v from_o the_o holy_a scripture_n we_o can_v in_o any_o sort_n thereunto_o agree_v and_o why_o forsooth_o because_o all_o both_o office_n and_o officer_n in_o the_o church_n must_v only_o and_o alone_o be_v derive_v from_o our_o saviour_n christ_n as_o from_o the_o only_a fountain_n and_o bestower_n of_o all_o officer_n and_o office_n in_o the_o house_n of_o god_n and_o therefore_o albeit_o we_o shall_v grant_v as_o the_o admonitor_n have_v say_v that_o the_o outward_a order_n use_v in_o the_o primitive_a church_n touch_v rite_n and_o ceremony_n by_o bishop_n pastor_n and_o elder_n be_v neither_o necessary_a nor_o so_o convenient_a as_o it_o may_v be_v otherwise_o in_o the_o time_n of_o peace_n and_o under_o a_o christian_a magistrate_n yet_o we_o may_v not_o hereupon_o imply_v as_o his_o negative_a impli_v viz._n that_o bishop_n pastor_n and_o elder_n or_o any_o of_o they_o be_v neither_o necessary_a nor_o so_o convenient_a officer_n or_o governor_n as_o other_o officer_n of_o man_n invention_n may_v be_v for_o which_o our_o opinion_n by_o the_o help_n of_o god_n we_o shall_v assay_v as_o before_o have_v be_v mention_v in_o a_o other_o place_n to_o lay_v down_o out_o of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n some_o just_a proof_n according_a to_o the_o admonitor_n request_n that_o there_o ought_v to_o be_v in_o all_o age_n and_o state_n of_o the_o church_n this_o outward_a order_n and_o form_n of_o government_n viz._n that_o bishop_n pastor_n and_o elder_n ought_v evermore_o to_o be_v spiritual_a governor_n and_o that_o evermore_o they_o and_o none_o other_o aught_o to_o use_v that_o essential_a kind_n of_o spiritual_a government_n and_o none_o other_o which_o be_v practise_v by_o the_o bishop_n pastor_n and_o elder_n in_o the_o apostolical_a and_o primitive_a church_n always_o leave_v the_o outward_a rite_n and_o ceremony_n of_o their_o spiritual_a kind_n of_o government_n to_o be_v
