some_o dangerous_a plot_n now_o in_o agitation_n by_o these_o innovator_n to_o undermine_v and_o overthrow_v both_o our_o religion_n &_o good_a law_n yet_o my_o mention_v of_o they_o in_o my_o sermon_n mere_o out_o of_o loyalty_n and_o duty_n to_o your_o majesty_n upon_o that_o solemn_a day_n for_o which_o they_o be_v most_o proper_a to_o warn_v my_o flock_n to_o take_v heed_n of_o such_o innovation_n as_o whereby_o popery_n and_o superstition_n do_v not_o only_o crafty_o creep_v &_o steal_v in_o upon_o we_o but_o be_v hale_v in_o with_o head_n and_o shoulder_n be_v charge_v upon_o i_o as_o sedition_n here_o then_o let_v your_o majesty_n be_v please_v to_o judge_v whither_o this_o be_v matter_n of_o sedition_n as_o for_o which_o i_o shall_v be_v suspend_v from_o my_o ministry_n and_o mean_n and_o open_o defame_v as_o a_o seditious_a person_n as_o if_o a_o shepherd_n admonish_v his_o sheep_n of_o the_o danger_n of_o the_o wolf_n or_o a_o watchman_n the_o city_n of_o the_o approach_n of_o the_o enemy_n or_o a_o faithful_a and_o vigilant_a servant_n to_o his_o prince_n and_o country_n descry_v cunning_a traitor_n who_o under_o a_o colour_n of_o friendship_n and_o fidelity_n to_o the_o king_n and_o state_n do_v practice_v the_o overthrow_n of_o both_o shall_v therefore_o upon_o the_o outcry_n of_o the_o wolf_n or_o the_o complaint_n of_o the_o enemy_n or_o the_o recrimination_n of_o the_o traitor_n be_v adiuge_v and_o condemn_v of_o sedition_n for_o discharge_v that_o duty_n which_o both_o god_n and_o his_o word_n and_o the_o soul_n of_o god_n people_n require_v of_o he_o thus_o much_o of_o the_o matter_n of_o the_o article_n upon_o the_o very_a resoltancy_n where_o of_o i_o be_v move_v to_o appeal_v as_o aforesaid_a again_o for_o the_o further_a illustration_n of_o the_o just_a cause_n of_o my_o appeal_v i_o except_v against_o the_o in_o competancy_n of_o those_o judge_n who_o plain_o appear_v to_o be_v both_o party_n in_o the_o cause_n and_o adversary_n to_o my_o person_n for_o the_o cause_n sake_n and_o therefore_o both_o by_o the_o common_a civil_a and_o canon_n law_n yea_o by_o the_o very_a law_n of_o god_n and_o nature_n which_o prohibit_v any_o man_n to_o be_v a_o judge_n in_o his_o own_o cause_n especial_o when_o the_o party_n be_v a_o enemy_n to_o he_o that_o be_v to_o be_v judge_v by_o he_o and_o therefore_o by_o the_o law_n of_o god_n and_o man_n i_o have_v just_a cause_n of_o appeal_v from_o they_o unto_o your_o royal_a majesty_n where_o in_o the_o first_o place_n i_o distinguish_v and_o put_v a_o main_a difference_n between_o those_o honourable_a noble_n judge_n counseillor_n of_o state_n and_o other_o lay_v person_n of_o the_o high_a commission_n who_o i_o except_v not_o against_o but_o mention_n with_o all_o
