but_o in_o this_o lawful_a oath_n a_o man_n may_v offend_v two_o manner_n of_o way_n first_o if_o his_o heart_n and_o mind_n be_v not_o accord_v to_o his_o word_n but_o that_o his_o mouth_n speak_v one_o thing_n and_o the_o herte_n thynck_v a_o other_o thing_n the_o second_o if_o he_o that_o swear_v swear_v by_o any_o creature_n both_o these_o be_v blasphemous_a before_o god_n and_o in_o case_n it_o be_v damnable_a in_o a_o naughty_a matter_n to_o swear_v by_o creature_n be_v it_o not_o the_o same_o trow_v you_o daily_o and_o folysh_o of_o custom_n to_o swear_v by_o a_o man_n hand_n his_o head_n by_o the_o mass_n and_o such_o like_a the_o more_o vile_a the_o thing_n be_v we_o swear_v by_o the_o more_o be_v the_o oath_n detestable_a before_o god_n wherefore_o in_o thing_n not_o necessary_a and_o require_v lawful_o to_o swear_v by_o any_o thing_n be_v sin_n in_o wayghtye_a matter_n to_o swear_v by_o any_o thing_n except_o by_o god_n be_v no_o less_o offence_n that_o may_v we_o see_v four_o manner_n of_o way_n by_o reason_n y_fw-es â—_o holy_a scripture_n example_n &_o the_o canon_n law_n by_o reason_n thus_o to_o swear_v be_v to_o protest_v &_o promise_v the_o thing_n we_o swear_v to_o be_v true_a before_o he_o y_fw-mi â—_o know_v the_o thought_n and_o cogitation_n of_o the_o heart_n that_o know_v only_o and_o solye_a god_n therefore_o be_v it_o blasphemye_n to_o swear_v or_o attribute_v y_z e_o same_o to_o a_o creature_n as_o they_o do_v that_o swear_v by_o creature_n again_o every_o oath_n have_v annex_v with_o it_o a_o invocation_n and_o execration_n a_o execration_n that_o he_o by_o who_o we_o swear_v may_v punyshe_v and_o curse_v we_o if_o we_o swear_v false_a a_o invocation_n that_o he_o by_o who_o we_o swear_v will_v help_v we_o if_o we_o swear_v true_a but_o only_o
